If the story had been turned down, I couldn't resell it to say, Superman or Spider-Man. To me that's the only kind of story you should write. Anyway, I hope that clears things up. In the meantime, I hope everyone will be on the look out for it when it hits the stores the end of this year.

As most probably know, Raven is my absolute favorite character in both comics and cartoon. Having her own mini-series just makes it all the better, as her character could really be portrayed quite well apart from the Titans or any other group. I'll definately check into this for sure- I'd really like to see what he comes up with for the whole Raven concepter especially. Thanks for the news!

I am working a a comic portraying Raven as well with the Titans, but I am introducing my own characters as well, and its all about Raven and the new character I have. I need promission to use DC comic characters, who do I pitch it to? Last night I got the finishing touches on my other star character and its freaking awesome. I had the idea for two years, but I can only work on it once in a while, since I am so freaking busy. I don't want to burst any bubbles, but there's long lines of "fans" who are in the same situation. You could probably start by lurking around the Geoff Johns forums and sort of get a "feel" for what's going on in the comic world before you go any further with it. Then take it from there.

Sadly, DC Comics usually doesn't take on new writers out of nowhere, and they don't let their characters be used without costly licensing. It's not like a book, where anyone can go to a publisher and pay to have a book printed. You're also working with licensed characters, which makes it harder.

Best thing would be to lurk about the Geoff Johns forums, start to know comic fandom, and start to know about Geoff Johns and the rest of the people behind Titans. Then try sending him a polite message.
