Sorry I never answered your question.

Right, a level nine will be very good for you, being an excellent for females. But to be really impressive, make sure you can be confident of making it to level 10. Thatr way, when you're nervous, tired and self concious, you know you can do it and do it bloody well! If you get an excellent, there could be others who also get it too. If you make it so you're hanging out of your arse and last in, well...do the maths...

For some odd reason, the RAF press ups are a load of shite and only ask you to do 13. I suggest you make sure you can bang out at least 30 after you've been on a long run. Same for sit ups. If you can do 30-40 sit ups after a run, for the RAF (and for girls esp.) you'll have no problems.

But, If you can run 3 miles in under 22 (preferably around 20) minutes, run 6 miles in under 50 minutes, and able to complete a 10 miler without stopping, fitness will not be an issue. throw in some pull ups too, over grasp, palms facing away.

If anyone would like a fitness guide that will get you to a very good standard, PM me and one shall wing its way henceforth.

I seriously suggest you research the term equal OPPORTUNITIES. It does not mean 'being the same as'. If you go to OASC with that kind of misguided understanding and attitude you will almost cetrtainly fail! angry.gif

I've already been to OASC and yes i did fail. However it had nothing to do with misguided understanding and attitude.

Ok i made a mistake. hands up. i surrender.

You are forgiven - I'm not the type to hold grudges smile.gif

What did you go for at OASC, and what was the process like?

Please keep posts on topic. Please re-post in the OASC thread

Hey. What are the fitness tests you need to undertake before being accepted?
