Sam walked over towards the table almost automatically, not really watching where he was going. He knew that it was the table where he had left his brother with a huge pile of books to be looking through, but he didn't expect his seat to be taken. In fact, Sam fully expected to be able to sit down, type in some stuff on his laptop, cross reference something in one of his books he owned, and go from there. He was such a nerd that Sam had actually been spending some time in a completely unrelated section before tearing himself away and making himself work on the job.

Work was sometimes annoying.

"So I found another book that could really help us out on ...," he cut himself off, stopping short of his seat so as not to sit on the woman that was currently seated there. Flushing a darker shade of red, Sam stepped back a little. Only Dean could find someone in the middle of a bloody library! "Oh ... sorry," he looked between the woman and his brother before snapping the book shut and moving to walk off or something.

((Sorry if it's short.))

Claire gave him another flirty smile when she heard his comment and when he leaned a little closer to her. Well, well, well, this just might be a little bit more fun then she had expected. "Can't wait to see what you have in mind," she said, almost half laughing at herself for acting this way. She couldn't help it, normally she said had a somewhat flirty tone with hot guys but never mean anything by it, but somehow she was really starting to hope this was going to lead somewhere later. And she had the perfect thing is mind too.

She nodded slowly when he said something about with his job as a 'Federal Marshal' that traveling is a perk. Yep, and it was part of her so-called 'job' as well. "Sounds awesome. I'm sure you've probably seen most of the US by now, huh?" she said, trying to make causal conversation and hopefully hide the bit of uncomfortable feeling she had right then. And funny this was, she wasn't even sure why she felt that way.

She was just about to say something else when she noticed some one else walk toward the table and nearly take a seat in the chair that she was sitting in, but thankfully he noticed her before sitting down. Suddenly that uncomfortable feeling was replaced with a slight embarrassment when the new guy said sorry, closed the book he was holding and looked as if he was about to walk away. After all, she was the one who took his seat. "...And you must be the brother," she slowly said, her cheeks turning a darker shade of pink. "Sorry about stealing your seat." she mumbled, slowly standing up with a nervous chuckle.

Now this was just awkward.

"I guess I should let you guys get back to your work..." she started to say before turning to face Dean, leaning a little bit closer to him, "I really hope to run into you at that bar downtown later tonight." she said quietly, before straitened back up and taking a step backwards before making a move to walk away from the table.

Sam Winchester always knew how to ruin every ounce of fun that Dean could be possibly having at any given moment in a day, month, and year. The facts all concluded that the way the two were raised and how they looked at women was completely different. Dean didn’t know how Sam got this twisted image that even after Jessica’s death, he was still with her, in complete loyally. Yeah, he got the whole fact that Sam loved her, but she was gone, and they couldn’t bring her back. It didn’t mean that Sam couldn’t live and have fun, like Dean did. Anywhere Dean was, no matter what type of facility he found himself in, he could find a woman. It was a natural instinct for him, and this woman – Claire – Dean didn’t even find. She found him, so really, anything that happened here was no this fault, right? He was clean and it was harmless. Not to mention, it was just getting good, but Sam Winchester, this was another one of his “special gifts,” really. How long had the kid been gone for, and now he was just showing up out of nowhere? And everyone thought that Dean was the intrusive one. Oh, how wrong they really were. Sam was the one who showed up when he wasn’t wanted, but what was an older brother to do? He couldn’t banish him, after all, Dean was the one who wanted his little brother around.

It was just, now, it wasn’t really a good time.

In Dean’s mind, he could have talked Claire into going into the back of the library, getting a little risqué in a section nobody ever walked in. In Dean’s mind, he could have had it all right there, until it was foiled. Did Sam not just here that she couldn’t wait to see what Dean had in mind? Clearly, the job was more important to the youngest Winchester – not that Dean was involved in his work and saw it’s importance, but he liked to have a good time. “Yeah,” slipped out slowly as the palm of Dean’s right hand met the back of his neck. How awkward, right? This was more awkward then the time they were informed that the Ghostbuster-duo had to pee in a urinal and one of the Ghostbusters god stage fright. It was more awkward than walking in on Sarah and Sam’s conversation that had appeared to be very, very deep and meaningful. Really, this was possibly one of those chart toppers, but Dean could have assumed it to be worse. After all, Sam could have walked over talking about demons, right? And that just would have sent Claire into a boat of confusion down the river. She’d only wonder why two Federal Marshal’s were looking into demons. Well, that would have been one for Sam to explain. Everyone knew that geekboy could get out of anything with one bat of his eyelashes.

His eyes were focused on his brother, almost in anger, for being an interruption. Really, Sam didn’t know what was going on. To be completely honest, Dean could have been interviewing a local and getting information. He wasn’t, at all, but still, it was the principle of the manner, the thought, too. Shaking his head, Dean stood quickly, as Claire stood, grinning in apology for his brother being so rude with that interruption. “Sam, here, really doesn’t mind. Do you Sam?” Dean’s teeth grit together, slightly, as he swallowed. Clearly, that wasn’t going to stop anyone, but it was worth a shot? Wasn’t it? A small sigh fell off his lips. Was this a woman that he was going to lose without getting a chance go explore? The thought sounded as unfortunate as the act. He was sure – almost positive – that they could have had a good time. In all honesty, Dean knew that she would have adored seeing him naked (because, really, they would have gotten to that – it was Dean, after all). Maybe this was all unfortunate for her, though Dean was the one who wasn’t getting laid at that exact moment, like he had hoped. There was always hope for later, wasn’t there?

I really hope to run into you at that bar downtown later tonight.

He felt her body lean into him and her voice in a whisper against his skin. Oh, she would, she would definitely be seeing him. He flicked a card out into his fingertips, with his number scratched across the blank side, and slid it into one of her pockets. His hand then fell to her wrist, holding it gently, as if to tell her to not walk away just yet. “The one off of Main,” he whispered back, grinning inwardly and outwardly. Sam ruined the moment. His brother owed it to Dean to go to that bar, really. The youngest Winchester ruined Dean in his element, in the moment, disrupting the words. He glanced towards Sam, then dropped his eyes. “Eight o’clock.”
