1 vs. 1 Match Opponent: Anyone. Post Count: 1500. If you are higher, stay where you are. Lower, then match the quoted amount. I felt like having an epic battle. Character being used: Angel Setting: In a ruined, unnamed city, abandoned for centuries. (I liked the look of the idea in my head. ) Reasoning for the fight: Angel wants to play. Angel’s skill set: [Psychic:] Lock, Whisper, Scry, Push, Mimic 1-4, Detect 1-4, Evocation 1-4, Anti-Magic 1-4, Anti Teleport, Anti Ward, Displace, Veil, Copy 1-3, Ascent. [Dark Mage:] Disease, Manipulate 1-3, Unholy Armor, Madness, Darkness, Animate ~*~ Pale fingers slid across the cold, stone, wall of an abandoned building, the sensation sending small chills down deep into her body. She focused on the feelings, and smiled to herself as she felt them travel throughout. Opening her eyes, a pale gold searched the forgotten city for any form of life. Despite its silent beauty, Angel was becoming bored and needed some entertainment. She wanted a companion, no matter who it may be, to play with. A dark smile quirked upwards upon her features as she listened for something, anything, that might give her any form of entertainment. Angel stood dressed in one of her finer, favorite dresses she was gifted in her past life. Every day she wore the piece of clothing, it served as a reminder that she once held the world in her hand, or at least she felt that way. She was so close to having everything, but Mother ruined it all. At least I managed to take care of her and that pig, Thomas… She thought to herself, satisfaction ringing loud in her mind. Her black and white dress flowed in the wind, the cloth to it and her petty coat rising upward showing her thighs and black tights. The sleeves to the dress were short and ruffled, and the chest of the dress sat just across her sternum. Her boots she wore her tall and reached just beneath her knee. Her arms were bare just under her sleeves, and her hair went wild when met with the air. She ran a hand through her locks gently, loving the soft, silky sensation. In her eyes, she was everything that could be considered perfect. Walking down the cracked, cobblestone streets, Angel began to hum a soft tune to herself. It echoed off of the walls and reverberated in her ears. She wondered what took place in this strange city. What could have brought about its destruction? Whatever it was, it held power – power Angel wished to obtain some day. “Is there really no one here?” she asked aloud, a small pout forming on her lips.

The city smelt of dust and ruin, and yet there were definitely signs of life amongst the metropolitan graveyard. Temples were now abandoned, by the priests that prayed in them and the gods that took advantage of them. From within the skies, the angel's view was impeccable. He was drawn to this place, like steel to a magnet. It didn't feel like a trap of any kind, merely a calling of destiny.
Thanatos swooped down, keeping his spear tightly in his hand as his red eyes swiftly looked into every minor detail the city had to offer. Nothing stirred, not even a rat. Still, his psychic instincts told him something else was here, something that did not belong.
His armoured feet clanged as they connected with the roof of a sturdy building. His armour rustled slightly and his cloak danced in the timid wind. Even the elements seemed weak here. Then, a voice echoed throughout the silent city, a few blocks away from his current position. He turned slowly, finding the source of the sound. His ears weren't as sensitive as his eyes, but he roughly knew the direction the source of the sound made. Extending his crow-like wings, he took flight once more, flying a hundred meters into the air, looking down upon the girl who idly walked the streets.
"There is you and I."
His voice reverberated across the skies and towards the ground. There was little wind to cancel him out, and thus, the girl would be able to hear him almost crystal like. It would be interesting to see why such a girl roamed these streets which such disinterest upon her face.

"There is you and I."
Angel stopped in her walk, and she placed a hand over her eyes as she looked up into the cloudy sky. There a figure was, flying above her with grand, black wings. A smile crept along her face as she looked to his form, a ball of excitement forming in her gut. She walked out into the middle of the abandoned road, her eyes never leaving the man above her. When she came to a stop, she spoke.
“You fly, and I am envious of you! What a gift to have, indeed. What is your name?” She asked, placing her hands on her hips. She also felt something else when meeting this individual. He was quite similar to her, in abilities. A user of the mind; he held many of the same abilities as she, Angel was sure of that. She could feel the energy pulsate out of him and down towards her, much like vibrations of great sound.
So this could be very interesting indeed. You are surely not here for any reason other than to answer my silent call.
“My name is Angel.”
((Meh post. I'll pick it up once this thing gets rollin'.))

The dark wings came in, causing the man to fall from his height. Then, when close to the ground, he let out one forced flap to slow his descent before his feet smashed against the ground. The stone beneath his feet groaned from the impact but otherwise remained intact. Thanatos now stood roughly ten meters from the girl, his ruby eyes continually measuring her: physically and mentally.
When the girl spoke her name, the Advocate could not help but laugh. 'Angel' was her name? Calming himself after a few moments of comedy, Thanatos straightened up.
"I guess we're two angels then? I am Thanatos. I believe you have been summoning me. I felt a great attraction to this area during my travels."
The Angel gripped his 7' spear with his gauntleted hands, hearing the two metals grind together. The was something strange with this girl, he felt his psychic energies licking his mind, prying into what he could do. He allowed her this passage, though he was sure that he could not block her out any ways. Perhaps his strength would provide an adequate deterrent.

Her eyes widened for a moment, and her eyebrow rose. She studied his reactions to her name, his ringing laughter most unpleasant to her ears. How rude. However, she bit back her tongue, and only gave a smile with narrowed eyes. Bringing her hand to her chin, she nodded, never looking away from the winged man before her.
"I guess we're two angels then? I am Thanatos. I believe you have been summoning me. I felt a great attraction to this area during my travels." he said to her. So he did hear the call? Perfect. And the fact that they were so alike made it all the better. So she bowed ever so slightly before taking a step back, her dress flowing behind her quickly as she did so.
“Thanatos is quite a strong name, and it seems to fit you well. I hope you'll be worth my time, here Thanatos. I hate for my time to be wasted.” She said as she took another step back. Bringing her hand down to herself, she closed her eyes and clinched her fist. She slowly released her hand from its compact form just moments before, whispering 'disease' with a sigh.
“I would love to get a feel of those wings,” she looked up to the man through her thick bangs, “Like I said, I'm a little envious...” She then pulled forth her blade from its holster on her hip, holding it to her side. Deciding to stop wasting any more time, Angel lunged forward, her blade pointed towards the man's torso.

The Angel tilted his head slightly as the obscurity of the lady before him. She seemed innocent, though this apparent rose came with its own variety of thorns. He extended his wings upon her mentioning of them and as she did, she lunged. Magic filled the air, his reflexes kicking into action. With one swift motion, his wings pushed against the air, sending him shooting backwards, rather than upwards. His eyes narrowed as the girl remained standing their, her sword extended outwards.
"I see..."
He remained still as soon as he landed eyes shooting daggers at the girl before him. Holding out his hand, his palm faced the girl, fingers extended wide. The debris in the street would form suitable ammunition for this attack. Mind focussed on the fragments of rock around him, some as small as a dagger others fairly large chunks of building, Thanatos connected with them. Then, a silent command was issued from his psyche, and an invisible pulse radiated from his palm. The rocks lifted into the air, roughly a meter and a half and exploded towards the girl in a shower of rubble as if shot from a cannon.
Thanatos, not underestimating this girl, flew behind the projectiles before him spear ready to assault the girl.

Angel gave a ringing laugh as she watched the man lift the debris from the street with his mind. It gave her excitement to know that her opponent was of this kind – a mind bender with exceptional power! The rocks then hurled themselves towards her body with the winged man following closely behind. In response, the girl lifted her arms and swung them from left to right, some of the pebbles and rubbles following her actions. The man, however, was a different obstacle to overcome. Bending her knees, she braced herself for the impact that was sure to take place.
Angel lunged to the side, the blade of the man’s spear ripping through some of the cloth to her dress. She winced as she landed, but it wasn’t from pain of feet meeting stone ground. Instead, it was because of her expensive dress being handled so indelicately. While it was her fault, she blamed the man before her for using his weapon. When planted firmly on the ground, she let out an irritated sigh, her bangs lifting upwards from her exhale of breath. Bringing the fabric closer to her golden eyes to see, she let out a small growl.
“My own silly idea to wear such a dress to meeting like this…” She said quietly to herself, although it was still loud enough for Thanatos to hear. She slowly let her dress drop back down and looked towards him through her bangs. A small smile crept back onto her features.
“I love a strong man. Especially one with such speed and power. I am sure you can feel my power much like I can feel your own. A strong wielder of the mind.” Angel wrapped her hair around her thin finger, and she began to twirl the silver hairs loosely over and over again. Closing her eyes, she felt the wind begin to pick up, moisture forming in the air. A storm was close.
Small water droplets began to fall from the clouded sky, dampening the stone streets as it did so. She could feel her hair begin to fall flat upon her body, her curls loosing their form. It didn’t matter, however. Rain was welcome.
Holding both hands out to her side, Angel took in a deep breath and cocked her head to the side.
“Tell me your greatest fears, Angelic Knight. I’m quite curious to know. Maybe, if you tell me, I’ll even tell you mine…” She said softly, silently casting the Madness Spell towards the Angel. She knew that the man was far stronger than she physically, but maybe when it came to the games of the mind, Angel could gain the upper hand.

The Angel grunted as he came to a faced stop, his boots smashing against the floor past the girl. He turned quickly, ready to throw his spear at her when she began to talk. Her dress was beautiful, she wore it well. He couldn't help but give a grin, and he lowered his spear for a more...less gory attack.
Stepping closer, he allowed the girl to continue talking. She asked of fears, he couldn't recall any. The moved away from the subject, but the idea kept popping back. What fears did he have? His family? His service to the Aesirs.
The scenery around him changed, though it was the same ruined city, Thanatos believed it to be somewhere far different. He could see a ruined citadel in the north, was that the seat of the Aesir's? To his right was a decaying temple, his brother was there, and his father.
The girl that was before him, Angel, was now nothing but a simply citizen in a ruined city. His mind was beginning to be consumed by her mind gnawing spell. The Advocate dropped his spear, raising both hands to his head in agony, trying to hold in the pain of loss and the feeling of being alone.
"Wh...what happened? Tell me! Someone."
The rain barraged down now, his hair curling at the ends as it drowned in the unmerciful weather.
This isn't real. You are being manipulated. You are stronger than this, do not fall to her spell!
A voice echoed in his mind, a whisper, but the Warrior could not hear it. His mind was flooded with woe and distress. Ascantha, his home city, was dying.

Angel cocked her head to the side as she watched the man suffer from the small breakdown in his mind. She blinked slowly, her face soft and emotionless. He was feeling pain, fear, misery. What did he see? What did he feel? She slowly began to walk towards the angel, her clothes now soaking wet from the pour down of rain. Her hair began to separate and curl, much like his own, and small water droplets fell upon her cheeks.
She knelt down beside the man and cupped his face in her hands. A small smile crept along her mouth, her eyes narrowing and flashing as she took in his image. Her thumb caressed his cheek.
“What do you see? What is so frightening to you? There are a million and one things that I could guess, but I risk the chance of never knowing. Or, could it be for the better? Oh look at me, rambling on like this…”
She looked downwards, her eyes studying the cracks within the streets before meeting his gaze again.
“Oh well, lets move on, I suppose. At least that let me see a sensitive side to the knight…” The girl said with a soft chuckle. She ripped her hands away from the angel and planted them down upon his chest. With a loud grunt, Angel felt the energy pass through her body like a wild current. It rushed up into her chest, out into her arms and down, until finally leaving her the palms of her hands. She focused her energy, hoping it shove it right into the angel before her.
“Time to wake up now.” She said quietly.

The world as in ruin, his loved ones were did and here was the girl smothering him in the streets. His mind reacted to her touch, her words though his eyes lied to him. He could not sense this girl's worth, to him she as merely another character in this dystopian story. As she whipped away her touch, the effects of the spell she had cast began to dwindle until there was nothing but the thought of who the girl was. His mind whirled like cogs in a machine, until finally his inner voice started to make sense. This couldn't be Ascantha, he had come from there not too long ago.
The veil of madness fell before the girl uttered her last statement, his psychic self beginning to reinforce his mind. The world about him began to displace instantaneous. As Angel prepared to release her attack upon the crouching Advocate, the real one had appeared a few feet behind the crouching illusion.
No words were uttered, things were serious now. As the girl discharged her power into the figure, the illusion faded away revealing the true Thanatos standing behind it. His spear firmly in his grip, gave a swing, using the spear as a blunt weapon. Only the girls ribs were exposed, but that as all that was needed. That would be the target of his vicious assault.

“Yes! I love this!” She cried, her eyes wide with a crazed smile. She watched as the angel before her faded into mere wisps from her assault, the true form standing just behind her. She laughed as she turned her head over her shoulder. There the man stood, his spear in hand. He swung his weapon powerfully, a piece of the blade inserting itself into her flesh while the remaining body of the spear went crashing into her with immense force. The wind was then knocked out of the girl, her body flying off of the ground until colliding down, the jolt from the stone reverberating through her form. She rolled across the dirt ground until finally reaching a stopping point. Heavy, slow breaths went in and out of her chest, her eyes tightly shut from the pain she was feeling. That didn't keep her from laughing, however. It started out small, before slowly growing louder and louder.
Angel took in a deep breath as she forced herself up, holding in the air as well as any whines of pain. She could feel her eyes begin to water, but tears were not on the verge of appearing. She would never allow for that. So, she remained still on the ground, sitting on her legs, taking slow, deep breaths. She looked up to the man slowly, her golden eyes shining. The rain continued to pour down upon them, and on the ground sat a small pool of crimson blood mixing with the rain. The blood traveled down her ivory white hands as well despite her best efforts to keep her life force within her body. Her dress was becoming extremely stained.
“I think I'm falling for you, Thanatos,” she said with a small hiss at the end of her sentence. Her grin widened. “You seem to hold nothing back, and are brutal with your assaults. More men need to be that way,” she slowly stood, a hiss of pain escaping her lips. She closed her eyes as she slowly removed her hands from her side. She then stood straight, ignoring any throbbing sensations that came from the wound. Opening her eyes, she continued.
“Too many men these days have grown soft and forget their true nature. I hear back in my clan, the men would do anything to succeed in battle, even if it meant fighting a woman.
I want no pity, nor do I want to be treated with kid gloves. I'm glad to see you haven't held back...”
Angel began to step back, her eyes wandering from the man before her to her surroundings. The city was beautiful – in fact, she preferred this to the cities currently infested with other beings she considered rodents. She then turned, running into the abandoned streets. Rounding a corner, she went down another side street, and another, passing many decrepit buildings that once held life. Dead flowers lined the windows, while glass was blown out across the streets and inside of the buildings. Earthen life was trying to break out and free of the cobblestone streets of the unknown city, small blades of grass reaching up towards the heavens.
“Come now, Angelic Knight! Continue your assault upon me!” She yelled, her voice echoing off of the buildings that surround she and him. With a deep breath, Angel closed her eyes. When opened, she was surrounded by twenty copies of herself, and they all dispersed in different directions.

The Angelic being watched the girl roll across the floor from the might of his attack. As a soldier, he felt a little disheartened by what he did. His physical power dwarfed that of the girl, but he felt justice was fair. She had delved into secret fears - such was forbidden. He stepped forward, allowing the spear to fall back to the ground vertical so it acted as a walking staff. Angel stood up, hurt by the assault, but still strong enough to be a considerably dangerous opponent. As the man listened to the girl, he couldn't help but crack a smile, his thin lips curling up at the sides.
"Justice, victory. They are not bound by gender laws. Though its true women tend to be more...delicate in their physical approach, I have known many to tear a man apart with their mind alone. I do not underestimate that, and you have already proven that charm is a most deadly thing."
Before he could launch his spear towards the girl's heart, she fled to down an alleyway calling for him to catch up with her. Growling, he unfolded his wings, taking to the air watching multiple copies of the girl running around the city like mice in a maze. His expert eyesight could not identify what girl was the real one.
"Women and their mind games..."
His words were silent in the still air, eyes moving from one girl to the next. Still, she would have to try much harder than that. While hovering in the air, he closed his eyes and allowed his mind to radiate outwards. Invisible pulses echoed from his mind, hitting everything. Then, a small spark of power radiated from one position in the city, he had detected the psychic user. Turning his gaze to that position, his superior sight homed in on the girl. With a crude smile, he held up his spear. With all his power he launched his spear.
Like an arrow, it shot through the air at a blistering pace, homing in on the real Angel. Behind a building or not, this spear would cut through stone like butter.
[[I would expect Detect would pick up on the real Angel, seeing as the others are merely illusions with no power.]]

((Makes sense to me. =] ))
Rounding a corner, Angel stopped and leaned her tired body upon it. The cold, wet brick felt good against her heated skin. She was becoming tired, and it was because of that damn spear. It hit her a little harder than she thought, which infuriated the girl. She was being careless.
Angel knew that her mimics wouldn't be enough to distract the man for very long. Her calling them was a waste of energy, and now she was suffering from it. Clinching her teeth, the girl pounded her fist against the stone wall, the force of her mind accompanying the attack. The wall began to crack and crumble, small fragments of brick and stone falling to the ground. But then, a weird feeling began to take form her in chest. Something was coming, and it was powerful. Thanatos had found her.
“The curse of being able to link minds....” She growled through grinding teeth. She could feel the building begin to ruble and shake, giving her the cue to make her way from the structure. She jumped to the side and gasped at the angel's weapon came barreling through the building, crashing down into the street just feet from her body. Her eyes widened, but a smile slowly began to form as she followed the estimated projected route that it followed. Looking through the new, collapsed hole in the building, she could see the angel in the air.
“Oh, what to do with you, Angelic Knight....” She murmured to herself as she looked back to his planted spear. Her eyes then wandered to the larger debris on the ground. Large rocks had fallen to her side from the impact.
“I'll play toss, if you want to, I suppose....” She said as she lifted the large rock with her mind. Guiding it with her hand, she threw her arms in the direction of Thanatos, the rock making its way out of the center of the large hole created just moments before. Taking in a deep breath, she focused her mind, and her body slowly began to levitate upwards. She then moved her body, darting through the hole and following closely behind the rock she had thrown. She needed to be ready for anything, but it was becoming harder and harder to concentrate with the pain in her side.

His spear stuck into the ground like a pin in a cushion, yearning the fact it had missed its target by a matter of feet. Thanatos mentally praised the girl for agility but cursed himself for underestimating it. Things were getting dangerous, a fact made only more real by the exploding boulder that now hurtled towards him. Much like the feat he had pulled off in the street, with lots of shades of rock, this was one large piece of architecture. The girl could not be seen, the Warrior now taking careful steps, though first there was the issue with the boulder. Clearing his mind, he attempted to push against the girl's own force. The only effect was slowing the boulder, Angel's mental power was superior to his own. Deciding that psychic power would not prove to be on his side in this battle, he waited for the boulder to almost hit him then... Zip!
A few crow feathers fluttered in the afterwind caused by the rock smashing through the space the angel once occupied. A few meters away, Thanatos reappeared, teleporting into a safe space. His felt his inner energies drain from the shift, but they were fast recharging. From the side on view of the spectacle, the Angel watched the girl float behind the rock, urging it forward with her mind. She was indeed powerful to maintain all these psychic activities at once. The Advocate did not know whether the girl figured out he had teleported away, nor would he wait for her to find out.
Open your mind to me!
A faint whisper echoed throughout the girl's mind as Thanatos watched several meters away. He reached into her psyche, finding the sources of her inner power and then began to shut down the knowledge of how she was pushing the boulder. He had hoped that with Angel expending so much power with flight and telekinesis, that entering and seizing up her mind would be a fairly easy task.

Damn it! She spat in her mind, her eyes narrowing at the fluttering wings that were left behind. His teleporting was becoming a nuisance, and she knew from the very beginning she should have cut him off. She felt her body begin to drag and slouch, even while in the air, the throbbing pain in her side growing more and more. She slowly turned her head, looking for the angel and where he could have gone. She couldn't see him, but that didn't mean that he wasn't close. She could still feel his presence.
She began to float downwards, her head throbbing now as well as her side. She landed on a roof top of a tattered building, her eyes still roaming for the knight. Then, a strange sensation took a hold of her mind. Small pinching over and over again. It wasn't a part of her head ache. It was something more. He was probing, trying to find something. Rolling her eyes, Angel straightened her back and placed her hands on her hips.
“You're so nosey!” She said out loud, eyes still looking to the sky.
Open your mind to me!
You know, you could always just ask me what you're looking for. Maybe I'd tell you.... She replied through their mental connection, placing her pale hand on her chin. The wind began to pick up, yet the rain had seemed to lighten for the moment. She waited upon the roof top, waiting of the man to make his move, whatever it may be. She needed to take a second to recuperate, anyways.

The dark winged Angel floated to the same building top that the girl had landed on. She seemed physically exhausted, his merciful streak extended out, offering her a respite. For someone so...delicate, Angel certainly packed a lot of power and punch. It was a shame her physical prowess denied her of any stamina.
"I wasn't interested in reading your mind, grounded-one. Merely shutting it down. Try and move that rock over there."
He gestured to a small piece of rock that sat a few meters to the left of both of them. If things turned out right, he had locked up her ability to push anything. Still, this girl was powerfully mentally, it was difficult to say if he had achieved his goal.
As he gave the simply task to the girl, his mind opened up, he held out his hand. From the streets below, his spear rose up from the ground and floated back to its master. Smashing it down upon the ground, he alerted the girl he was ready and waiting.

"I wasn't interested in reading your mind, grounded-one. Merely shutting it down. Try and move that rock over there."
Angel scoffed as she listened to his taunt. He had beaten her to the punch. He managed to lock a part of her mind, keeping her from lifting objects with her mind. Damn, I waited too long. Oh well, I can find my way around this... Placing her hands on her hips, Angel took in a deep breath as she took a step towards the man. Her side hurt like hell, and she wanted to curl into a ball until the pain ceased, but she wouldn't. She would never. Luckily, the wound had managed to stop bleeding, blood turning dry and flaking all around the wound. Thankfully elves healed slightly quicker than humans.
“Well, where is the fun in this? You shut down a part of my mind... How.....weak.” No, it wasn't weak. It was fucking smart, but she was pissed. So, while keeping as calm as she could (which was something she practiced daily), she would belittle any idea that the man may come up with.
“Fine then,” she said as she tilted her head to the side, bearing her teeth in a grin, “we can handle this a little differently.” She took in a deep breath, and her hands stretched and flexed outwards. With a small grunt, a substance began to wrap itself around herself. It was a soft grey in color, and when it wrapped around her body, it began to solidify. It formed points at her shoulders, elbows, and knuckles, as well as her knees and down her calfs. Her dark magic was one of the best toys she managed to get a hold of, this dark armor serving her nicely. It made her feel stiff, but it would loosen in time.
“Okay, time in.” She said, and pointing her palm at the man, she let out a power blast of energy, hoping to knock him off guard. If successful, she would bring out her blade and swing.

Thanatos watched as the girl became covered in a grey matter, it hardened, turning into armour before his eyes. Things were becoming more complicating with each second, but all was not lost yet. If this girl truly wanted a fight, she will damn well get one! Before he could react to the magic, Angel released a powerful surge of energy. The Warrior raised his guard, his spear appearing horizontal to his chest. His body was pushed backwards, though his stance remained solid. Clenching, his teeth ground into each other has he summoned physical strength to combat magical power. His knuckles, exposed the the magic, began to sear and cut open, angelic blood now flowing freely from them. He winced, then with all his might, pushed the magic away from him where it dissipated.
He had underestimated this girl and once again, he was proven right. From out of nowhere, dangerous blades danced before him. Weakened momentarily from Angel's previous attack, he could provide a lousy defence, one attack getting through, impaling his right shoulder.
"Argh!"
He grunted his anguish, before knocked the blades away from his with this spear. Taking a few steps back, he watched the girl prepare herself once more. As another attack came, Thanatos raised his spear and swung to meet it. The aura of the spear glowed as it connected with the girls blade and like the stone it travelled through, it severed the blade where it made contact with relative ease.
A clang sounded throughout the empty city as the tip of the blade fell to the floor, leaving only the hilt in the girl's grip. Thanatos smirked, extending his wings. With a powerful gust of wind, he buffeted Angel, offering him a moment of broken concentration to assault her again with his spear.

Her arm was thrown backwards when the two weapons made contact, and she was extremely disappointed to see that her sword had so easily been cut in half from the man's spear. She grunted in aggravation, and then threw the hilt towards him, aiming for his head. Even with her dark armor wrapped around her body at this point, deep down she felt this battle was going downhill quickly. Her mind had been partially locked down, and her blade was now unusable. Her hair had begun to fall into her eyes, its once tame, luscious curls now falling flat and becoming ratty. Her dress was ripped and stained, with a massive rip right on the side of her torso.
She glared at the man before her, her smile no longer visible as she took her current situation into consideration. She stretched her arms and hands, letting her muscles flex under the armor than sat upon her body. Her legs soon began to ache from the exhaustion she was going through, so she stretched them out as well.
Thanatos then spread his wings, throwing a strong gust of wind straight towards Angel. She folded her arms above her body, and she began to slid across the stone flooring back towards the ledge. Turning in her leg, she forced her body to a stop. The pain ached all through her knee as she did so, but she ignored it. She needed to keep herself from falling off of the edge of the building. She looked down at her leg, but when she rose her head to look to the knight, she noticed the man barreling towards her, readying himself for another attack. She needed to move! She lunged to the side of the building, feeling as the rush of air from his attack brushed passed her quickly and powerfully.
Time for me to take a closer look at those pretty little wings of yours... Angel thought to herself. Her mind clicked as an imprint of her image stood where she once was. She pushed her legs to sprint to the side of the angel, hoping her left over image of her form would throw him off for a few moments. She moved in, close to the knight, and went to grab a hold of his wings. If she made contact, she would use her strength to rip the wing right off of his back, or at least make it unusable. After all, she was jealous and wanted wings of her own.
((I used the Displace ability if I was a little unclear with my description. xD ))

[[Remember, your Push technique is locked.]]
Victory seemed inches away. His spear erupted through the chest of the girl before him, and before he could figure out what happened, a pain grabbed him on his wings. He felt he pulling at them, but they were grafted to his very bone structure. What exactly would she accomplish from such and attack? Still, it hurt - a lot. He growled as he swung, trying to get her off his back. By constantly swinging, it prevented the girl from using much concentration on pulling his wings off.
Finally, deciding enough was enough, he fell to his knees, pressed a palm against the roof of the building they stood upon and exerted a powerful psychic push. The roof exploded inwards, causing a hole to appear around them. The pair, surrounded by the falling rubble, fell through the hole and into the building.

Angel held tight to the knight as he thrashed about, trying to knock off her assault. If anything he was trying to keep her distracted, and it was working. She didn't want to go flying off from the assault and possibly falling off of the building's side, so the wrapped arms around him tightly. She could feel the pressure rushing through her arms, causing her muscles to throb and strain. she grunted from this shaking back and forth, but she wouldn't let go.
Well, that's what she planned, anyways.
The man fell to his knees, his palms resting on the roof of the building. Giving a strong mental thrust, the knight caused the roof to collapse inwards. The drow gasped and let out a small cry as the two went falling from the roof towards the stone flooring of the building. She had lost her grip of the knight and hit the ground hard. She lost all breath in her chest as she began to heave in and out, trying to gather her thoughts. She was shocked and in extreme pain. Her wound had managed to reopen, blood spilling onto the dusty and trashed floor.
"You've stolen my heart..." she coughed, her eyes rolling about sleepily. She felt like she could sleep for years and year before being fully rejuvenated. She tried to push herself up so that she could at least walk away with some dignity, but her body protested as her muscles screamed. She bit her lip after a few moments of laying on the floor motionless before forcing herself up, ignoring her body and the complaining it gave. She limped to the broken down door of the building, and as she leaned against it, depending on its structure to stand, she looked to Thanatos with a smile, her eyes narrowed.
"Its been fun. I hope to see you under different circumstances in the future. Fly away now, little bird. You've won this battle."
She then stepped out of the building and began to walk down the tattered road, disappointed in herself yet content with the battle itself.
