Green Token Rewards
Permanently raises your alchemy technique power by one fifth of your level. You can take this trait up to 5 times for a max of double your power.
Permanently raises your dark mage technique power by about one fifth of your level. You can take this trait up to 5 times for a max of double your power.
Permanently raises your druid technique power by about one fifth of your level. You can take this trait up to 5 times for a max of double your power.
Permanently raises your mage technique power by about one fifth of your level. You can take this trait up to 5 times for a max of double your power.
Permanently raises your psychic technique power by about one fifth of your level. You can take this trait up to 5 times for a max of double your power.
Permanently raises your warrior technique power by about one fifth of your level. You can take this trait up to 5 times for a max of double your power.
+10 Post Count
Second Character Slot- Opens up the second character slot for a Dark Forest character. Note that this can alternately be earned by raising your post count to 100 posts with no additional cost.
Wings - Your character or steed can gain wings, enabling flight without the use of magic or abilities.
Longevity - Your life is a lot longer then a normal person's allowing you to age more slowly and live to be two thousand years old before you die of natural causes.
Beast Tongue - Your character can speak with all animals. This does not include common DF languages such as Dwarven, Draconic, Elvish, etc.
Eavesdropping - Your character has gained the ability of elevated hearing levels, this allows you to perceive softer, higher-pitched, and lower-pitched sounds and frequencies better. It's like Farsight for your ears!
Firefly - You can conjure up to 3 small orbs of light under your control. These cost no energy to summon, maintain, or dismiss, and cause no damage.Yellow Token Rewards

Third Character Slot- Opens up the third and final slot of a Dark Forest character. You must have the second slot opened to open the third.
Jackrabbit - Regardless of your class/profession you now have the ability to jump much higher than that of the average person and can cover up to twenty-five feet in a single leap. Cannot be stacked with Dragoon's Jump.
Will Power - Choose one spell or skill; it cannot be locked by abilities that normally prevent its use, such as Silence, Lock and Anti-Magic. This trait can be taken up to 3 times.
Fast Learner - You gain spells and skills from your primary class and secondary class at 9/10 the normal cost. If you would learn a spell at 100 posts, you would instead learn it at 90. If you learn it at 1000, you would instead learn it at 900, and so on. Round up to the nearest post if necessary when determining post count needed to learn a new ability. This trait can stack up to 5 times for half the normal learning requirement.
Second Heart - Your character's endurance is doubled as if he/she had a second heart! Your character is more energized and can run or fight for longer periods of time without fatiguing.
Acidic - Your character's body has adapted to carry acidic bodily fluids (blood, spit, etc.). The character is not affected by their own acid.
Telekinesis - You or your steed has minor telekinesis allowing you to move small items with your mind. This can act like a minor Evocation or Push with a force of up to ten pounds or lifting 1 square foot of material.
Barter: You gain remarkable haggling skills, this token enables you to buy weapons at a cheaper rate. First token allows you to by them at 3/4 post count, second allows you to buy them at 1/2 and third allows you to buy them at 1/4. This token is not available to warriors, and only applies to weapons that can be purchased in the DF Equipment Center.
Dark Vision: Your character has adapted to the darkness and can see, even in the faintest of light.
Farsight: Your character can see well for many miles as if equipped with binocular vision.
Lightning Rod: Your body has a special polarity that attracts lightning and lightning magic unless under the control of an alchemist.
Water Walk: Without the use of water alchemy, your character has discovered the secrets of water walking!
Unbreathing: Your character has superseded the need to breathe. You no longer require air to sustain your life.
Green Thumb: You can promote the growth of a rank 1 Growth spell even if there is no natural energy source.
Shifter: You can shift your form and become half man/half (insert animal here).
Steed Armour: This token lets you put heavy armor on your steed increasing their post count scaling to full, instead of 1/2. This cannot be taken by token reward dragons.Blue Token Rewards

Eternal: You were granted eternal life by some otherworldly powers. You no longer age.
Rubber Touch - You can turn yourself, your equipment, or any weapons you might have into pseudo-rubber. Though you aren't really rubber, you move like rubber and have the stretch and resilience of rubber.
Tom Thumb/Thumbelina - Your character can shrink to the size of a mouse and grow back to his/her normal size. You can only change your size once every three posts.
Holy Wards - You have been consecrated by some god or holy power. You and your weapon's touch cause death to demon and undead NPCs (not including special characters). Touching undead/demon player characters causes minor burns.
Extra Limbs - Through some freakish event,A error on the part of the gods, or the 'miracle' of evolution you have grown one more limb than normal, this may be an extra arm,leg,tail, etc. these extra limbs allow one to break the normal limit on the number of limbs a character can have. May only be bought a max of 2 times per character.
Cold Affinity - You have lived in the arctic regions most of your life or your race likes it really cold. This means that you wilt rather easily from the heat though. You take half damage from Cold/ice/Blizzard Effects but 1.5 damage for Fire effects. (Cannot be taken if you have Fire affinity.)
Heat Affinity - You have lived in a hot climate most of your life or you are from a race that just likes it warm. But that means that you are not so used to the cold and that you would be more damaged by it. You take half damage from fire Effects but 1.5 damage for Cold/ice/Blizzard effects. (Cannot be taken if you have cold affinity.)
Dark Defense: Your character has grown accustomed to dark energy. They resist dark energy as if it was only half strength. You subsequently take more damage from light energy equal to 1.5x the normal strength of the attack.
Light Defense: Your character has grown accustomed to light energy. They resist light energy as if it was only half strength. You subsequently take more damage from dark energy equal to 1.5x the normal strength of the attack.
Swarm: Your can turn your body into a swarm of small creatures (bats, bees, birds, etc). Each creature is a part of you, and you will be damaged if a creature is damaged. If any creature is affected by a spell or ability (Poison, Haste, Protect, Anti-Magic, Esuna, etc.) then the entire swarm is affected as well.
Dragonscale: Your body is resistant to magic because of the properties of your dragon scales. You resist blizzard, fire, and thunder spells, allowing you to wade through these elements to a degree without taking damage. You can ignore level 3 or lower elemental spells in this way.
Magic Eater: When you null magic with the Null-Element spells, you absorb the nulled spell and gain back magic energy equal to the strength of that spell.
Putrid Body: Your body is constantly surrounded by a cloud of noxious gas. Anyone who comes close to you is afflicted with Poison.
Regenerate: Lesser physical wounds you sustain heal rapidly. Major physical wounds heal faster than normal, but take longer than small wounds.
Blood Drinker/Cannibalize: You can gain health from drinking blood or eating flesh as if you were under the effect of Cure.
Elemental Breath: You or your steed can breathe either, fire, ice, lightning or acid for 10 feet. By purchasing two more tokens you can increase the amount by 5 feet, and up to 20 feet maximum range.
Steeds: You may pick one land based steed of your choosing to be confirmed by two members of staff, one member of staff must at least be an admin. Every steed is a 1/2 of your post count.Purple Token Rewards

Insatiable Hunger - Your character can chew through and digest any material, though he/she will still get full per the normal diameters of the character's stomach. This does not allow the destruction of legendary items via eating them. Nom nom.
Song Bird - Your character's singing and voice can charm up to 1/2 your level of NPCs, fascinating or distracting them. This functions similarly to the Dark Mage Manipulate spells, but it can only force their attention and does not allow your character to control their actions.
Ethereal - For whatever reason, you've become completely ethereal making it impossible for you to touch physical objects or be touched physically. Magic and psychic abilities do twice as much harm to you, however.Gold Token RewardsMythic and Legendary items cannot be destroyed or alchemically/magically/psychically altered (though they can still be moved by psychic or alchemic means). Mythic items cannot be re-skinned via custom weapon rules.

Anything that comes into contact with the weapon will slowly turn to stone over 10 posts, including characters and NPC's, and does not exclude the wielder. It also doubles the physical strength of the wielder by 2x with its dark and destructive aura. The petrification can be cured by Esuna. It cannot be cured once the process is complete.

Its power is deadly in the right hands and even the weak can quickly become mighty with this weapon. It gives the user the ability to control dark energy to a lesser extent and use that energy as a weapon, either in firing it as a beam or as a extension of the blade.

It is rumored that it had single handedly wiped out the largest army of undead in the history of the planet. This weapon gives the user the ability to control light energy to a lesser extent and use that energy as a weapon, either in firing it as a beam or as a extension of the blade.

Lost in time, this arrow when fired turns into a blast of sunlight which then explodes around the target, engulfing the area in regenerative flames. This arrow contains the power to purge corruption and vile magic as if using the Esuna spell. The fire of this arrow causes minimal amounts of harm, and promotes new growth and regeneration.

Said to have been wielded by Taurus in his last stand against the Machines of Granseal in the war between the mages and machinists. It is said to create thunderstorms when swung.

This blade grants the power of flames, giving the wielder immunity to fire and the power to cast fire spells to the third tier. Edmund wielded his blade alongside his brother against the mages of old. It can lay down wide sheets of flame when swung.

This staff has appeared time and again throughout time where ever this is an absence of life. It's true power is astronomical and can only be unleashed by Lien himself. This staff grants the wielder the power to cast Death, and the wielder is considered to have a constant Drain Essence enchanted to their touch.

Lost for many ages, this arrow when fired sends a blast of dark energy that flash freezes a large area. Wounds caused by this arrow gradually get worse over time, causing fevers and festering infection, and can only be healed by Esuna AND a 4th rank or higher Cure spell.

The user gains immunity from ice and learns ice spells up to the third teir. The wielder can survive in the coldest climates, and the axe is freezing to the touch.

This ring contains such life giving power that it can act as an almost unlimited energy source for druidic magic. It allows Druid spells and abilities to be used without a natural source to draw from.Shield of the Lion: A legendary shield said to have been forged by Remus and Kerlock and bearing the emblem of the roaring lion of the Galam Knighthood. Given only to those worthy of gaining the title Knight of the Lion. This shield can breathe either light OR dark elemental energy (choose the element when you gain the item; the element cannot be changed without purchasing another Shield of the Lion).

This item can be used to transport a group of no more than fifty people or NPCs including any builds within a fifty by fifty metre radius. This item has a one-time use.

This burning orb is capable of absorbing all magical, druidic, alchemic, and psyonic energy in a huge radius and allowing the wielder to use that energy for him/herself equal to your post count. It can even absorb energy from characters and NPC's, making it impossible to cast or use skills or abilities for 5 posts. This item has a one-time use, once it has been used it will shatter.

Their body will stop aging, and they will never die from old age as if they has the Eternal trait. They will also never contract mortal illnesses (magical illnesses are still affective) or experience hunger. They also gain regeneration through an empowered Regenerate trait, healing their wounds quickly over a few seconds. Note that this does not regenerate limbs and an immortal character will still tire and run out of energy per normal. (Cost 2 Gold Tokens) Soul Bond - You and another person have bound your souls together. This bond prevents you or that person from dying unless the other person also dies. When both characters are in the same topic, you share damage equal to half of what is inflicted. For example, if one person takes a major sword wound, both characters might take minor or moderate wounds in the same place (this also occurs if one is entering a topic where the other person is already injured). You are also telepathically linked with that person as if you had the Psychic Whisper ability. Both characters must have Soul Bond for either effects to occur. This trait costs 2 gold tokens!
1. Are purchased abilities stackable: Some are, see specific traits for details.
2. Are tokens able to be broken down into more lesser tokens: Yes, see below.
3. Are tokens able to be combined? Yes see below and reverse the same principle.
Yellow is convertible to:
2 Green Tokens.
Blue is convertible to:
3 Green Tokens.
Purple is convertible to:
4 Green Tokens.
Gold is convertible to:
5 Green Tokens.
You may convert tokens to larger or smaller tokens. Depicted conversions are to reference their relative value, and does not indicate a limit on how you may convert tokens or what colors they can be changed to. A gold token can still be a purple and a green, for example.

Alright well, as you may or may not know...
1) I earned a Purple Token from my entry in the Map Making Contest 2#
2) Zeke posted I got second place and a Green Token in Cavada's Contest.
3) According to this record in the contest shop
I have 3 contest tokens, two of which I spent on a Third slot, leaving one left.
Gold is convertible to:
1 Purple & 2 Contest Tokens; or 2 Blue.
We decided to take those contest tokens and that green token interchangeable, so that would I'm guessing that adding my green token (2) and contest token (3) would be the same thing as having 2 contest tokens and according to this shop 2 contest tokens plus a purple token can be equal to a gold token.
At least I think that's how it works.
So if my math is right, then I'd like a Gold Token, please and thank you bla bla bla.
If this isn't allowed, then my bad, ignore it.

In the beginning there was such a rule available to members so that they might have the advantage of trading in all of the items they won prior to the token system being put in place. Just like members using tokens now to purchase upgrades and whatnot, so were members with previous rewards from locked topics and areas allowed to use their items like tokens.
I don't know if the staff since then (and in my absence) has decided that that availability has ended.
I would offer that if you used tokens to purchase something after the token system was created (that is, you didn't unlock a secret item or weapon, but won/unlocked tokens and traded them for the boost willingly), then that would be a choice that would be unfair now to allow you to take back.
This restriction stands only if the decision was made to not allow continued trade-ins. Being that the token center is the only place where a person actually "spends" anything on DF, it doesn't make sense to me that tokens shouldn't be something you spend without great consideration, and by that, something you shouldn't be able to go back on.
I know that the staff has been talking about going over the token system and making sure things were straightened out with it. There are a few rules about that are still floppy, one namely: the idea of trading used items/buffs back for tokens.
Son, right now I see that you have no tokens recorded in the token recording list, and one green token does not a dragon buy. If you'd like to PM me, we can make attempts to sort this out and come up with a solution or exchange that suits you. Although the token topic reads that the enhancements are permanent to the character (another rule that is often bent is the fact that these boosts and items are interchanged among characters as they are shuffled out for new ones, etc.), I'm not so sure that that will be the case once the staff give the system a once over.
Just PM me. Right now the topic reads no tokens, and you report having one Warrior boost. If that's not the case, we'll fix it. Maybe your name changed and I, in my infinite troublesome forgetfulness, have forgotten your old account name.
