The call had been sent out, the scattered remains of the demon army were gathering hoping that Suldarius could return them to their former power and glory. Morganus sent out a call of his own, though it was random and intended to bring possible allies and foes alike. If foes came he would take this time to crush them, if potential pawns arrived he would greet them with a smile and open arms. But for now he waited in the Hall of Titans, sitting on his broken silver throne at the end of the stone table, his feet up on the table as he looked upon the face of the statue which towered over him.

"Well Morganus, do you think people will actually come," asked Nox who was sitting down on one of few good wooden chairs left in the room. Nox had sent Carnage and the others back to the abyss to rally the golems for the time when Nox called them to Redemption. Yes Nox was very pleased with this alliance, he was going to finally get to observe Redemption while observing the evolution of his own creatures, yes it was all going to be so joyous.

"I do not know, but if people do come it will make this more lively then those dull demons."

" I never claimed that the grunts were intelligent."

"This is true, regardless they will make good meat shields," said Morganus as he looked around the room, the walls were now lined with torches which burned blue, a gift from Carnage before he left. Morganus was pleased with all that he had found in the temple and pleased with what was uncovered after the glacier was removed. But now he sat here and waited, knowing that time was required to gather the forces he would need for his next move.

"You will need more then just meat shields for what you have planned my friend."

(( t('.'t) ))

A bellowing horn rang in his ear. Cronus looked around. He had been standing in the ruins of Orion with an ancient tome in his hand. In some way it was his new home, away from passed memories and thoughts of what were once good. The horn made another ring, he knew it wasn't close. His wings would have felt the vibration; it was coming from somewhere else. The horn roared for a third time, and recognized the sound. The tome he had explained the different tones and pitches and finding that it was Akarian. He found its source.

Behind him, a fiery portal materialized and he stepped through. He found himself on an obsidian edge of a temple high above the demons. To him, they seemed worthless. They stood there with all their stupidity and ignorance. Why was he even here? They were of no value, maybe to the fool that was sitting on the throne here. There was nothing special about him either. If the man was leading this, he surely could have done a better job gathering a stronger force. This wouldn't do anything but make any mad man look like a fool.

Cronus stood watch in his Elementalsilk robe in his demonkin form, waiting for something to 'entertain' him.

Receiving a message like this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. An opportunity that Zarak couldn't resist. His little detour to Moun was very disappointing, and it was finally time for him to do something much much more... interesting. He smiled just thinking about the power that he could possibly acquire during this little venture, hopefully it won't end up like Moun. His grin quickly turned into a frown.

The Hall of Titans wasn't exactly down the street. It was going to take quite some time, but the rewards should be worthwhile. He had to make sure that he wasn't going to go get himself killed. His plan was like always, fake it 'till you make it. Pretend to be the most loyal servant possible, but when the shit hits the fan then it's time to go.

I wonder what Dark World has in store for me... I've never been there before. I hope the food is good. He continued to think meaninglessly about his destination, it's what made the journey there feel so damn long. Ughhh... am I close yet?!

It was finally time. After the long awaited journey, Zarak was finally there. Unfortunately he had to go through the Temple of Brothers to find the place. It was nothing but tedious passageways after some more annoying corridors. He felt so close to his destination, but in reality he was still quite far - so he took a shortcut.

Dark vapors started to formulate at the entrance to the hall. The accumulating mist generated the dark portal, which materialized the dark mage's body. Zarak walked from the darkness, and quickly what he left behind vanished.

"I don't know if I'd be considered a shield, but I can definitely offer you my sword."

He walked further into the hall, barely catching the last part of their conversation. He was sporting a rather long navy blue trench coat with a golden trim, beneath the jingles of mail and plate could be heard. His visage held a satisfying grin, and he swung his head to remove the straight black hair uncovering his left eye. The eye-patch in its place was clearly visible, but with his good eye he quickly observed the throne room.

"Ahh nice place you got here, but it's a little dull - don't you think? It's missing something..." He thought for a moment, while he itched his chin. "Hmph, well never mind that. The name's Zarak Mazroth, pleasure to meet you."

His body straightened up to appear very formal, and then it quickly lowered itself into a perfect bow.

Kull rattled at Arns skull trying to get that blasted voice from calling out to him. I could have sworn it was worse that that Kerlock fellow that kept whispering "Come to me" like some delusional stalker. Having kicked that vampire through a port-. Oh I'm sorry vampiric-angel, out of the portal. Arn of course hadn't shut up about it yet. "Even if that was HELPING I think you could have least had the decency to drop them off safely" oh what a whiner... drop a nearly dead mortal in a populated city and all you get is a constant nagging.

Still, seeing this so called Morgan or what ever he called himself would least be more interesting then killing random demon-spawn every time they popped up. "I do hope this one is more interesting then your so called Lord." Kull mocked. He was of course speaking of Ezekiel who more or less disappeared from his throne. Really what happened there? did he decide to quit or use the rest of his sickdays? Bah, who knew.

"I think this is a foolish endeavor" Arn bickered as Kull was crossing the lava plume riddled fields. He was already near the ruins of the Towers. "Your opinion is noted, and moot." Kull said shooting down Arn. Sick of walking or speaking with Arn, Kull opened up a portal to the Hall of Titian's and the resting spot of this Morganus and hoped right on through it.

==============

So many swirling dark portals to one spot, one had a hard time standing out. Well not everyone. Instead of taking a entrance with no collision, Kull for went the less then logical path. Deciding that it was just as easy to land on the man that beat him to the punch. It rather wasn't all that hard considering the fool was in a full bow and just waiting to be jumped and trampled on. "Well Hello there!" Kull said greeting the Morganus as he fidgeted to stabilize himself with the man that struggled underfoot.

(Kull has landed... on Zarak. It was this or landing in Morganus's lap.)

Seeing enough of the demons, Cronus materialized another portal, this time right into the hall the others where meeting this 'leader' was conversing with the others who had come in. His steps were light. His dual-edged scythe hovered a bit over his back.

He watched over everyone who had come, one jumping on another's back like this was some type of a game. He moved himself to the side of the room, but near the table. He was irritated, irritated that someone would just summon and act like he was the master of this world when this world always had a better chance for peace. Why would they even bother to scheme?

I truly hope there is something to all this. I've no intention of staying here or with you unless I see some benefit." He was straight to the point. What else would they be there for? What else could they gain? I am no shield -- that is what I have others for. If you want my scythe, so be it. If you want my soul, I'll gladly tell you to piss off."

Morganus turned his eyes across the ceiling, if the demonkin was able to see through walls he would seem the old man's eyes trained on him, nothing escaped his eyes especially when it was close to him. Then the first being with manners appeared, he offered his aid and Morganus could only grin, Nox looked at the man for a moment before turning his attention back to the table before him not showing a lot of interest quite yet. Though Morganus had to chuckle on the comment about the decor.

"It is hard to get a interior designer out this far, if you know one have him send me a letter."

Then came a noisy one and Morganus had to smile widely at the entrance, it was even better then his when he first met Luthe. Which kinda urked him, it was his meeting and he was already being one upped by the visitors. Then Nox had to laugh before standing up to walk over towards the odd balancing act to look upon it a bit closer, his cane clicking against the stone floor with every other step he took, his silver robes scrapping along behind him for they were a bit large for him. Though he was smiling his eye seemed dead as he looked up at the man who appeared atop another man's shoulders.

"I do believe you should get down from there and apologize before we have avoidable complications," Nox's voice was gentle and he appeared to be grinning happily but his eyes told nothing still making them clash with everything else. Morganus could only sigh quietly, the old man just had to ruin his amusement. But while this was happening the thing he had sense atop the temple made an appearance and what it had to say made Morganus smile widely and stand up revealing that he was wearing no robes just a shroud of darkness which seeped from his body.

"I can offer you power, I can offer you entertainment, I can offer you riches, I can offer anything I want and none of it has to be true. But what I can promise you is that I called you here for a venture few would dare attempt and the end result will be all of you becoming a part of one of the largest empires to exist in this world."

Morganus's words were long winded but he didn't sense an hostility and in all honesty he feared none of the men present. He then waved his hand towards Nox who had temporarily turned his attention to the new arrival.

"That fancy old man is Nox the Creator and I am Morganus the Beggar and we both welcome you to the ancient kingdom of Akara. If you have any questions I will try to answer them to the best of my ability though I may save the more important answers for when the rest of my guests arrive."

Zarak was trying to lift his body back up from the bow, but there was something stopping him, or was it someone? Whatever it was, it was heavy.. really heavy. At this point he didn't even try to fling whatever it was that appeared on him off, it just wasn't going to happen. If he did his back would probably snap, and that would just be unfortunate. So, he was forced to fall forwards on to the floor. Before hitting the ground, he just sort of planted his gauntlets and rolled forwards.

The roll would have probably slid the fool off, and at least Zarak looked graceful getting himself off of the ground. It was a single fluid motion, and at the end he was back on his feet. He raised an eyebrow at the overly-friendly prankster, who had just used the back of his trench coat as a welcome mat.

"Well... that was just rude."

Quickly, he pulled the coat off revealing the full set of steel armor. Zarak patted the dirt from it off, and then proceeded to air it out and fold it in his hands.

"Seems like this one hasn't been taught any manners...Where I come from disrespect is equivalent to assault!"

The gauntlet then started to shift and morph into something completely different. The metals around his armor turned almost liquified, and extended out from his hand like a tentacle. As it shaped itself in front of the new comer's throat, it instantly sharpened. It remained there millimeters from his flesh, but then Zarak realized that the assailant was no longer among the living. He sighed, and the tentacle retracted back to form the gauntlet once again.

"I do believe you should get down from there and apologize before we have avoidable complications," an old man said to Kull, but that was rather impossible. Kull didn't know how to apologize much less not cause complications. That was rather his gift. Another guest appeared but there was no time to greet them because Arn's body was going for a flight. Kulls balancing rug suddenly decided it was time to do a forward flip. Unfortunately it didn't inform him so the undead prankster took a dive.

"Kahahahaha" Kull chuckled from the ground, he did think it was rather amusing. The rug on the other hand was not so amused.

"Well... that was just rude."

The man pulled off his coat revealing armor that was underneath. That was quite a curious thing to do. After all who actually hides armor these days? Cleaning himself off the man pated out some wrinkles before speaking again to the still laughing Kull.

"Seems like this one hasn't been taught any manners...Where I come from disrespect is equivalent to assault!"

The undead ceased its laughing momentarily as he began to notice the morphing of the metal gauntlets along with the mans armor. It liquified and became fluid like an extended limp of the man. At his command the metal tenticle surged towards Kulls exposed throat sharpening as it grazed the edges. But the tip didn't draw blood, dead veins prevented such a thing. He almost seemed to have given up after realizing that he was dealing with an undead.

"Kahaha! Oh come now, this could have been fun!" Kull said to the stranger. The man in question might not have fully noticed but trailing from his shadows were five snake like shaded blades trained on his back. They were calm composed and nearly waiting for the man to twitch the wrong way. "But then again, our guest is waiting now isn't he?" Kull siad snapping his fingers and destroying his own spell before the lad notice the underlying danger he had been in.

"You may call me Kull or Arn, Karn?" wait hasn't this happened already? "Its the same thing more or less. I shall tag along until you bore me." It was quite an honest remark to both Nox and Morganus. Perhaps not well taken as Kull openly admitted to leaving if there was ever a boring moment but a promise none the less.

An empire wasn't in Cronus' mind. He thought about it for a second about what could be so daring that it would make him risk his own life. What was so valuable that he needed to be here to help this man. He barely knew who this man even was, nor did he care about the offer of riches, and entertainment, but the power -- that was something he rather enjoyed; that and control, but how would he know that he would deliver?

"An empire, eh? And what would be the foundation for this empire? What would make me want to risk my neck for you? Who could blame him for asking. There needed to be something to hold on to; to look forward to. There would be no point in hanging on to false desires. He would help Morganus, but the answer he was looking for was why he should.

"Morganus is offering you a chance to gain power beyond your comprehension. Power that once was able to bring this world to its knees. If you wish to have nothing to do with it then you may go wait for the inevitable end with the rest of the world.

Now what had just happened would seem odd to most, the tone behind Morganus's voice had changed, it was much deeper now, colder, holding signs of amusement. His smile vanished and his eyes turned a marvelous sapphire coloring. On his chest beneath the darkness one could see a faint blue light and anyone who could sense energy would know whatever created that light held a fair portion of the man's power. Nox looked upon Morganus, his eyes showing nothing but he was indeed curious for this was the first time he had heard Suldarius speak since his own arrival.

"There there you two don't be so testy we are all friends here," said Nox turning his attention back to the comedy duo, he didn't want any blood shed today especially so close to him, what would he do if any got on his new set of robes? But then he wondered, why was he playing mediator? He should of been helping Morganus deal with the one who was actually curious. Thus with a wave of his hand the room around them came alive with movement. From each shadow stepped a knight garbed in black full plate armor, from the joints of the armor one could see darkness, from the eye slots one could see each armor was empty. But yet soon there were twenty of them standing silently around the edges of the room," Don't be alarmed, they are to show the other portion of the army which will be helping our friend with his endeavor, of course there are more of them available it would just seem a hassle to fit all of them into this room."

Cronus was definitely surprised. To see these black plated beings and for them to be so large in size was something to look forward to. Cronus scanned his eyes over each one that came through and seeing the ferocity of their will just by their stature. If he could control some of these in the future for whatever purpose, he would make them a valuable asset but still an expendable one, but for the special occasions. And for the power -- the power to dominate was all that mattered; and seeing that which he desired had a chance to be earned.

"I'll bite." He gave a wicked smirk before opening his tome again, reading of spells, tactics and summoning chants. It would come to great use for him in the future.

Zarak crossed his arms, and tossed up the folded trench coat to hang on his shoulder. He calmly walked to one of the pillars within the hall, and leaned up against it with his back. His head tilted downwards so that his hair shrouded the majority of his face. A low mumble can be heard coming from his direction.

"I didn't come all this way to play stupid games with a fool."

He was startled when unidentified movements shifted on both sides of the pillar he was leaning against. From the shadows, knights with black metallic armor had emerged and stood there like statues. They didn't speak a word, but their presence was well uncomfortable. So, this is what the army is going to be made up of.. then of course there's us. Zarak shifted his eye to the other volunteers in the room. He already disliked one, but the other seemed to ask more questions. At least the other spoke intelligently, he was nothing like the laughing buffoon that made the rude entrance. Zarak sighed loudly, his patience was thinning.

"So.. what now.?"

His head turned slightly, the frustration he posed earlier was diminishing.

Bubbles

Cassandra had been sitting in her bathtub, her very favorite spot in her rambling house. She had been enjoying the bubbles, loving the sizzling scent they put into the air and humming to herself a lullaby she could barely remember when the son of a bitch had busted her lovely mental bubble. She had managed to grab a robe before she set to finding him, her dark mood only made the portal more vicious, rather than a pretty smoke or a weird tear in the fabric of reality hers opened with a crack, black flame licking up the insides.

One leg came out and the other carried a woman who screamed hell hath no fury. Her flame colored hair was piled up on her head and kept there with a pair of ivory sticks. Her electric blue robe covered important parts and looked good against pale skin. She had good bones, would have been counted as lovely if you didn't catch the hardness in the set of the mouth and the anger in the eyes that had aged her.

Her staff slammed into the floor with a sharp snap and her dark eyes surveyed the pile of males with a look of pure derision though one had her eyebrow lifting and a half smile tilting her lip, he was cute. To the rest she growled. "Who the fuck is Morganus?"

They had said that sharks were born swimming. That whatever the world would come to would know no horror's like this. The call came to him in his sleep through the reverbrations of magic and the world alike. It screamed of the potential of a world renewed. Oh what wonderous joy.

It was Hymn who beckoned for this. Nip it in the bud. Watch how the world revolves around pointless slaughter. There was a toy in this batch and Gregori wanted it. So why not come? At least hear about the pointless qualms and desires of those who were less fortunate. He existed within the shadows. Ignoring those who held little power, another entrance of a woman.

Such silly beings. Yet, what could he do but let curiousity strike him from within. At least he would be able to say that he was here to see it for himself even if the world was just his toy. He spoke aloud from within the shadows. Not fearing to be detected as there was no real way to detect him and no scent to prove he even sweated, no real way to prove the Iridej even existed for that matter.

"All things permitting, nothing is proven." A pause as the hollow expanse of his voice seemed to ring with the sound of distant wooden windchimes. "How exactly do you plan on granthing the power to do this?" A simple question not directed towards anyone in general. Surely there would be an answer that would prove weather or not it was even worth his time.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There was family in the mist. The amythest resounded with a calling from his brother and the host body of the mage that was once known as Kilik could not help but answer. Could not help but respond. The body had fallen to his beckoning and Achiem was so close to passing onto the expanse of a human prison and a body all of his own.
With the foolish magic of the body he held he had managed to get there in near no time flat. A simple teleportation spell within the room. A cruel desire to torment those that came washed over him. Yet he abstained. Suldarious would be happy enough that He came at all. Achiem was sure of it.
When he entered the room he took little note of those around. A crudely shifting body screamed of power unfolding. Of the demon's slow take over. How amusing it would be to see Morganus here behind the call. The gloves of the magus's body granted him little care as his slowly growing claws were shredding through them. A Berserker spear in hand to deal with the abscense of his own weapon.
"It's been too long."
"I didn't come all this way to play stupid games with a fool." the man with the trench coat muttered. Well I guess not muttered seeing as it was loud enough to be heard clearly. "It seems your not liked" Arn said from inside, it seemed at least he was pleased that Kull was disliked. "Should I care what the doormat thinks much less you..." Kull shot back. He really wasn't bothered by the man what ever his name wask. Zark? Zarvark? Bah what did it matter.
"There there you two don't be so testy we are all friends here" the Nox man said. Really he was a wonder to Kull, the man had strange betraying eyes void of emotion and yet he smiled and laughed. "I don't trust him..." Arn said like a overly concerned wife. It was a wonder if it was really a mans body Kull had taken over and not a womans with a personality like Arns attached to it. Oh wait there was a penis, case solved.
Kull ignored Arns concerns and continued to watch the amusing man named Nox. It was when he waved his hand and gave life to the room that perked Kulls interests even more. The entity was downright delighted, and bravely walked up to the mobile suits of armor. Kull saw that from the joints of the armor there was only darkness, and the eye-slots of the helm were empty.
"Don't be alarmed, they are to show the other portion of the army which will be helping our friend with his endeavor, of course there are more of them available it would just seem a hassle to fit all of them into this room."
Well that was interesting now wasn't it. Kull ignored the other portals that began to appear, this place seemed to have become a hot spot for Dark Mages. Instead he went about observing the body less suit of armor poking at it with a gauntlet for while. Curious Kull decided to finally tearing off the specimens helm, giving a slight gasp as it came off so easily. He looked like a toddler breaking another boys toy, if toddlers wore plate mail and had an undead look to them.
... you broke it Arn stated. As if that weren't obvious enough. "It was already like that" Kull responded only to be met but a quick rebuttle "your lying, you broke it." Arn said again not letting the subject go quite yet. "he should have put up a warning sign"
"Don't touch? would that have stopped you?" Of course it was a good point. Kull wasn't the type to listen to such silly things like orders. Well unless they were something the entity would do anyway. "Gah, shut up!" Kull said putting on the armors helm on himself and humming an annoying tune in attempts to block out Arns pestering. It was failing but at least he was trying.
Things were just getting out of hand now. Bickering everywhere he turned. This wasn't an empire, this was a joke. If they were even competent they would show some decency and some thought of what was going on. Even if they did have to wait on others, would he have to continue hearing this incessant arguing? He wasn't going to wait an eternity for these people schemers to come.
"If this is going to keep up with this petty crew, I might as well wait until the inevitable end to come. I'm not one for complaining, but they seem more like children then competent henchman." He pulled outward on his robe to get more comfortable. His hood still covered his head, but his eyes would still glow and some of his face would be hidden in the darkness. He preferred it this way; the less who knew what he looked like, the better it was for him to go around unnoticed. "With all due respect, would you care to elaborate on what the focus of these creatures are? They look tough, but being tough isn't what will take down our enemies. I'd like to know what are they capable of."
Portion of the army or not, they better be worth the summoning.
"I am glad we came to a understanding," said Morganus though he wanted to say more but then of course a woman wearing what appeared to be only a robe stormed in . She was obvious annoyed by something and Morganus couldn't guess what he had done this time, hmm he wasn't sure what he had done other times either, maybe she was caught up in the Charlemagne's mess. But he leaned forward and hide himself behind his hands a grin crossing his face," Sorry that was my name yesterday I just revoked it cause it apparently brings rage, I am just The Beggar."
"Honestly I think we are first going to remove all the barbarians from this realm, honestly why must they fight each other here. The area as so much potential," said Nox to his small group of people, those his words would confuse most since the demons where qualified as such barbarians and to most people the dark world was a wasteland with no hope. But it appeared Nox had a different thought process then most but that would be for another time since Nox's attention was attracted to the jester who was playing with one of his golems. He couldn't help but chuckled when the golem's helm was popped up, the man reminded him of a child due to the curiosity he showed.
The golem who had lost its helm didn't not move to retrieve it though it did unsheath its claymore from its back, they were created to fight battle after battle, that didn't included being mocked by the likes of this fool. But a look from Nox kept it from doing what it wished to do and instead the helm which was stolen from it vanished from Kull's head before materializing where it belonged. But then Nox appeared to look offended, was that man insulting his creations? They didn't feel pain, could not be cut by mortal weapons and honestly were expendable and yet they did not live up to his expectations?
"So you believe yourself incapable are expecting my powers to carry this army and now you question the capabilities of my creations? Honestly you are much more of a fool then this jester," said Nox as he pointed the tip of his walking stick at Kull, but then he saw Morganus raise his head from his hands and shake it in response, they didn't want to start a fight. With a sigh Nox walked back over to the table and grabbed his chair once again before taking a seat in it.
Then Morganus was forced to sit up, more people, more questions and now he could hear Suldarius sighing within his head. Yes Achiem's host had shown up and apparently the oaf was in complete control,honestly though it was good for the demon lord of the amethyst it was embarrassing for the rest since they had yet to be that successful.
"I see you made it Achiem," said Suldarius and he said nothing more then that not wishing to speak with the black sheep of the family more then necessary.
"Actually the man who entered behind you is a example as am I, we both hold ancient powers which nearly conquered this world, ontop of which if we succeed here this entire continent will be ours to do with and honestly I think we can do better with it then a bunch of mindless dogs and undead, most say it is a desolate place but there are chances of creation everywhere, you just have to get creative," said Morganus as he looked around the room, yes they seemed random and foolish but everything had a starting point, honestly if everything was perfect in the start it woould be boring. "Regardless I think it is time we get your introductions out of the way before I start making nicknames."
((OOC: I sleep for 14+ hours and come back to having make a huge catch up post fun fun >.<. Regardless it looks like things will be entertaining.))
The man with the trench coat ignored the undead's response. It was obvious that he disliked Kull for his disrespectful and embarrassing entrance, but what the others said was true. It was pointless to keep arguing, especially when it is a fool you're arguing with. The fighting would probably never end, and it would just be rude and painful for those who watched.
Instead of continuing the bickering, he sought to think of something more interesting to talk about. He observed one of these black armored knights. They where so bland and boring looking, yet they where still rather intimidating. You'd think that this glorious empire we're creating would have a more ... what's the word ... exciting appearance. He continued to analyze them, that is until one of their helmets popped off due to the childish Kull. Zarak shook his head in disapproval but kept his opinions to himself. Does Morganus really need an idiot like Kull to be running around his army, it's like babysitting a retarded five year old. He snickered a bit when the helmet vanished from the undead's head and reappeared on the knight's shoulders. The Nox fellow seemed upset about him playing with his toys, at least he wasn't the only one who disliked him.
Others started to swarm into the Hall of Titans. More people he didn't recognize, although he didn't particularly find any of them important, he still felt the need to be polite. Of course, part of being powerful was in the amount of friends you had in high places. Unfortunately, they weren't so well mannered either. The woman with red hair, just sorta waved her stick around and started yelling at everyone. A simple greeting would have sufficed, but then a couple of other people made their landfall. More and more questions it seemed, did anyone know manners!?
Either way, Zarak had to be the bigger man. He smiled at each of the newcomers without really answering their questions and nodded his head. Speaking to them was useless, with all the others talking no one would hear him. Instead, he awaited each of them to introduce themselves.
"Put it back Kull!" Arn complained, his voice unheard to others. "lalalala! lalala!" the undead sang trying to tune out Arn. Of course when the connection is directly to their soul and not the ears its harder to tune them out. It was then that suddenly Kulls new hat suddenly disappeared. That was... odd. It was then that the undeads attention turned to what the others were doing around him.
"So you believe yourself incapable are expecting my powers to carry this army and now you question the capabilities of my creations? Honestly you are much more of a fool then this jester"
Eh? a jester was Kull? I guess he could have been called worse. Infact I'm sure he had. He was sure this Nox man wasn't annoyed by him but rather the demon-kin that was acting far to big for his own britches. But then again that's one of the fatal flaws demons had, it lead to the Demon War and their eventual down fall. "Are you done?" Arn asked. "Perhaps, though this has become quite a circus" Kull said musing to himself. "Master Nox? Can I assume we will eventually get to the questions that actually matter?" Kull asked no longer looking for another string of antics to bemuse himself.
Mood swing
She examined him, head to foot on his chair and barely noted the rest as they shuffled and bumped around in the room save for the one who smiled at her. To him she sent a wink and a sly smile of her own but the man who claimed to be call the Beggar was her attention. Power was an obvious cloak but... Under it was more, she wondered if the others noted the danger and decided that they weren't the brightest bunch.
Cassie decided to get comfortable, a sweep of her hand and she was sitting though no chair was present, it looked like she was suspended in mid air. She studied, filed away and considered as her long fingers idle stroked the staff she carried, challenge him? Perhaps, she would enjoy it but to what end? Well for the entertainment and the disturbed bath. Worth it? She shrugged, not right this second. For now she'd wait and see what he had, perhaps it would be interesting.
Cronus had to laugh at Nox. He really thought he was insulting him by questioning the capabilities of a summoned creature. A fool? No, he was no fool; he was simply curious, and that was all to it. For him, there was always a reason. He learned it the hard way when his father kept his life a secret. He wasn't a mindless being that took orders and carried them out. He wanted a reason to fight for something, for someone. And though these golems came out and just stood there, that didn't give him a reason to fight.
If he were to fight, he'd need to know what would be the odds. Anyone with common sense knows no one wants to be on the losing side.
"There is no need for the master portion, Nox is just fine," said Nox as he turned and smiled at Kull before turning his attention back to the table before him. The group was interesting, had potential but normally these first steps were rocky. He sighed quietly before glancing at Morganus who appeared all too amused with the scenario, the man still had not a care in the world and it annoyed Nox," Yes we can get to the more important questions I imagine."
"Yes that would be fine Nox, I can fill in my friend when he shows up, besides the boy is smart he might already have the answers," said Morganus, he was sitting back in his chair once again, it appeared that he was not going to get torched today, yes that was a bonus that he was expecting but sadly the unexpected always happen around him.
((OOC: Kilik can catch up when he gets the time to post, the others I was waiting on can also catch up when they can, I doubt we are gonna progress too far before they are free. also sorry for the short post not alot to react to. ))
Cassie tapped her finger on her lips, waiting while the room seemed to erupt then instantly go quiet. The rest in the room were scared to ask? Well, shyness had never been her issue. "Alright, if it's open questions, why the hell are we here." She leaned forward on her invisible seat and sent a wickedly bright smile to Nox.
"Please tell me you've brought me in on something incredibly sexy and interesting..." Her eyes were sharp and bright as they cut to Morganus. "Such interesting company surely wouldn't summon us all here for something boring."
Kilik's body shuddered as Achiem made note of the term intresting company. "Company? You call this a company? It's nothing short of an insignifi-cunt of a gathering of wanton fools. The host turned his eyes to look at each person in the group individually laying his purely solid black depths of eyes on Cassie when speaking the word insignificant. Ignoring the Golem's themselveshe could see little to work with here. "How much work needs to be done Suldaris?" It was a sharp sentence to his brother.
If he could even be called a brother anymore. At least he had succeeded where his brothers could not. A host body. Breaking the realm of the gem, at least in part. Achiem could already tell that for the most part they wanted to bring back the demons under a new rule. One, who might dare to say, under far lesser beings. "We do not have to get along, just show us what kind of work need be done."
Chastising family. How he missed the nostalgia of the old days when they were in control. As for the kull who couldn't keep his forsaken mouth shut... Achiem was beginning to hunger for the undead flesh. Maybe, just maybe a bite? A taste of what would be yet to come? The demon lord supposed he could abstain from that for just a while longer.
The host body began to slightly shift, metamorphasis wasn't exactly complete. The broadening of the host's shoulder's under sickly crunching bones as the body remembrance of the demonic's existance was implied.
"Honestly I came here hoping I could get my... people... a foot hold in this world, I personally like this continent and as self sustaining as they are my golems will be able to survive here as well as these undead I have heard about," said Nox before glancing back at one of his armor golems, it approached him and leaned forward as if whispering something to him. Then for the first time since people started appearing his eyes light up and he earnestly smiled, one of his favorite toys had come back.
"Thus I am seeking to root out the last of the undead and the mongrels from this continent, they are just a bunch of mindless beasts who have fought like children for many years, thus I am thinking it is time someone wins and this continent be put to some proper use," said Morganus picking up for Nox since it appeared the old man had just got ahold of some interesting information. Then his eyes shifted to a sapphire coloring and an sign of amusement vanished from Morganus's face, Suldarius was not amused by the fact that the younger brother of the family was getting uppity with him.
"We will be removing the wretched undead from the world first, they have been a thorn in our side long enough. After that we can worry about the insignificant dogs, without Marcus they will surely fall without much of a fight," said Suldarius as his eyes darted between all who were present, it was a odd band and yet he could sense potential, he was not like his brother he would not pass up decent pawns regardless of how they compared to him in terms of power. But then Morganus took control back shaking his head as his eyes returned their normal emerald color.
"Afterwards we will discuss removing some objects of power from those unworthy and foolish, it will be a dangerous and possibly fatal mission but the rewards will be well worth the risk, the one who requested it will make sure of that," said Morganus as he tilted his head back and stared up at the statue that was towering over him, yes hopefully this would all be worth the trouble in the end. Then looking back at the group he turned his eyes to Cassie and grinned.
"I am not sure about sexy but it will be a very interesting ride."
