The room was large, but empty the spaces bore nothing but the slight mummers of specters who passed it by never seeming to go into it, with his luck and search for some solitude it just so happened that this is where Urian had ended up after he had left his ship to his crew and had wandered the city he had brought from the abyss. A city that was his home now. He felt a warm familiarity as he softly ground the edge of his staff into the ground, his clothes were the ones he was familiar with though they had been restitched and repaired the clothes of his times with the Naire family. Pain flooded his mind at the memory, as he turned silently just standing there in the room. Listening, to the mummers of the people of the city who were trapped like that.

Urian though couldn't help them yet and he sighed, "Wonder what the others are up to?" He voiced to noone in particular. It always when he was alone that he felt truly both intrigued and haunted by the question he always wanted to ask himself, whether he truly was any use for other then drawing the city into Redemption or for what powers he had. Urian opened his palm and felt the familiar tug and glow of his magic as it surged at his call his hand glowed softly in a green light as he felt the small refreshing effects of his Cure spell.

It woke him up, and made him look around once more, " Losing my self in thought, sounds like before i came here... with Siran... and when i traveled with Pandora to get here." Urian was getting angry, why? was he feeling such a huge disappointment at himself was it because that not once, but twice the chance to help his mentor had slipped by. That his friend had nearly gotten raped and killed while he was losing his mind? Urian clenched his open hand tightly before hitting it against the wall, "Why... am i..." Urian looked down at his staff before he muttered the last of his thoughts, "always so far behind." Urian's eyes were down as he walked to the nearby wall, wondering as he closed his eyes what exactly he was useful for now.

(think this works For ya Roush hopefully it does)

"Hey, kid!"

Taejin walked into the room, not dressed nearly like how he usually would be. In a wife-beater and shorts, none of his jewelry and no weapons on him at all.

"Come on, you're with me."

He was carrying two bags, one he threw to the boy. It was quite heavy ((the equivalent of a normal person's 90 pounds)), especially when one would see that it was clothes. A glove/gauntlet thing, boots, and a vest.

"Suit up. You're old enough to start some serious training, and lucky for you, Uncle Taejin has decided that you're going to be his special project."

Taejin began putting his own equipment on, which was obviously heavier. It probably gave a vibe of "you're about to work out with someone who is infinitely in better shape then you", something that no one really appreciated. Like Taejin cared.

"There are a few skills and traits every man should have. Physical fitness is numero uno, because it leads to confidence and fighting ability, both of which you can use some work on."

The boy wasn't being given much of a choice.

"Then there's how to talk to the ladies, how to gamble, and how to drink. But those will come later. Before that, I'm gonna kick your ass until you can fight back. But first, we're gonna go for a run."

Not just any run, of course. For most people, just going for a mile or two jog in the weights would be enough. Not for Taejin. And not for Urian, either.

The kid comment as he felt a slight tickling sensation on his neck as he turned to see Taejin the bags that he carrying should of been Urian's cue that something was about to go wrong for him, that and the fact said bag collided with his chest before his instincts kicked in making him take a step or two back before falling back onto his back as he got his arms around the bottom of it. Urian pushed the bag slightly off of him as he sat up to look at Taejin as he continued to speak to him about what he was planning, "Wha-?" Urian said as he listened hearing how he had become Taejin's special project and that he was being forced into training that screamed to him like a perfect opportunity to run.

Urian wanted to and would of if he didn't think that Taejin would probably be able to stop him if he so wanted to. Urian stood up looking at the man, "What the hell?" Urian said as he looked at Taejin half of him told him to use his magic and get out while another part said to try it and the last part said to try beat the living crap out of Taejin for this. Each seemed like a good idea in some ways to Urian especially the first and last. "I'm guessing that... i don't have a choice in this... like at all, none whatsoever?" Urian finally said, feeling a little threatened at the moment and it wasn't by the comments of kicking his ass in till he could fight back.

"Son of a bitch... Alright, fine.." Urian muttered as he took off his cloak, as much as he hated to part with it he opened the bag Taejin had given him and stuffed it in there he was angry that this was being forced on him, and if he could he'd make sure Taejin felt at least a piece of that anger with a kick across the face well hopefully anyway...

"Till the end of this... Training... i guess i'm yours." Urian's hand went to his face as he slipped his staff into the bag as well, he wasn't leaving either his staff or cloak behind, to hell with that idea. "So... guess i'm ready to start when you say so... you egotistical jackass" Urian muttered the final part of that statement before covering up with a small, but audible comment "... Sir"

Taejin jumped around a bit, from one leg to the other, letting his arms weigh themselves down. Ballistic stretching was always a good idea.

"Step one is very simple. Catch me."
With that, Taejin took of running, out of the little area and right into public, cutting through the small crowd and hitting a nearby wall. The city was still under construction, so there were many half-built building and whatnot around. This happened to be one of those.

Three steps up the wall, and Taejin was able to reach the roof. In an instant he was on top of the building. Across the street with a two-story building, which he took a jump towards. He hit a window ledge, then jumped back over the empty street. A Vind wall appeared in the middle of nowhere, suddenly catching one of Taejin's outstretched arms. He pulled himself up, then made the jump to the second story effortlessly. HE turned to look at how his student was doing...

Urian wasn't going to be lost that easily as he took right after Taejin, it wasn't going to be easy to keep up especially since he wasn't the kind of person who would usually do this, but he'd make do with what he could here and use his powers to make up for what he couldn't do. as he watched Taejin scale the wall he knew honestly he wasn't getting up the same way. and he backed up a bit before taking a running start towards the wall, as he neared it he called out for his magic, as he finally neared the wall he called a Vind wall and used it a stepping stone to get up to the buildings roof.

Urian stared at Taejin for a second before he ran toward the other roof, he didn't really think what he was thinking would work, but it was damn sure better then letting the smug bastard drag this on for longer. "This is gonna Suck." Urian said as he leaped towards the other building before he vanished and appeared slightly further up from where he had jumped still in mid leap towards the other roof he had made sure to aim so that he'd try and tackle Taejin the moment he landed on the buildings roof that Taejin was looking back.

Urian feet touched down as he didn't let himself slow and in a quick dash attempt he threw himself forward towards Taejin, hoping he could end this quickly after all his feelings were to end this sooner and not drag it out for his own sake more then anything else.

Taejin smiled as he watched the boy making his way up the buildings. The weights would take their toll, and after they did this day after day for months to come, the boy's muscles would start to bulk up a bit. Within six months, no one would be able to mistake him for a girl. Taejin would make a man out of him, no matter how much the boy kicked and screamed along the way.

The boy tried to teleport right at Taejin. A vind wall would meet his face as the man jumped backward, off the roof. He wouldn't even look down as he fell a couple stories onto the street below, immediately rolling backwards, turning around and jetting down the street. After leading him on for about another miles over buildings and open streets, he ducked in an alley, stopping and waiting for Urian to catch up.

Phase two was about to start...

The chase, was brutal on his legs and it only seemed to piss him off even more then the fact he had ran face first into a vind wall. "Stupid..." Urian took a deep breath as he brought his hands down from his face after checking his nose. Luckily it didn't get hit that hard. "Stupid Son of a bitch!!" Urian yelled as he ran after Taejin spreading his wings as he leaped down and took after Taejin the anger and adrenaline leaving his mind blank as he chased after Taejin. The weights were bugging him, but he didn't want to stop and let Taejin get anymore distance as he continued running with everything he had after his elder brother, or as Taejin called himself to be Urian's 'Uncle', "Either way, he's getting the ass kicking of a life time when i catch up to him." Urian muttered as he kept running after Taejin.

it seemed like hours and it probably was that Urian had been behind Taejin, sweat was pouring over his body he wasn't used to this kinda running, and it had taken it's toll on Urian's body, his muscles were heavy and sore just from the running with weights. His mind was still focused, and he could still run it was getting harder for him to focus on his surroundings and he probably fell over a few times because of his legs giving out on him. "Wh-where.." Urian said as he slowed down to a jog as he looked around, trying to spot Taejin in the area around him. "Shit... Where.." Urian choked out as he looked around further he ended up slowly stepping in front of an alley.

"Damn, damn!" Urian frustratedly let out as he looked around again he was having issues seeing because of the sweat as he rubbed his eyes with his arm, "Where is that bastard!" Urian let out again his anger evident as he stopped, and inwardly told him to calm down still standing in front of the alley. he let his mind wander back only a little bit to where he lost Taejin because his legs had almost given out on him... There wasn't many directions he could have gone from there. Urian sighed as he looked forward, muttering something to himself as he paced slowly his eyes closed. Urian was listening now to his breathing, his thoughts clearing slowly he needed the rest, but he also didn't want Taejin coming back and scolding him for taking so long to catch up.

"He'd...Probably would just go find a girl or something rather then come back here." Urian muttered aloud as he felt his breathing calm down, he would find him Taejin, he'd get this training over with and while he was at it kick Taejin's ass for making him do this stupid training.

Taejin's form appeared from a random corner, brandishing a brand new weapon and clothing, both of which brought him back to his classical roots. His new threads matched his ship, and his new sword showed off his high position.

The scabbard was still strapped onto the blade, dulling any attack he would land. He rushed the boy in his typical Ishiki Stance, planting his left foot and thrusting his blade forward with a lunge when the kid was in range.

It was a deadly style, hard to avoid and difficult to block, and with a deadly secret. This child didn't fight with a sword, but perhaps Taejin could make something out of him anyway. He noticed the boy's legs were his strength, and there were a few fighting styles that made use of such a trait, namely Black Leg and the much more difficult Resshūken style. He knew some Black Leg, but had only heard of the latter. Surely there were books and teachers around that he could procure for the boy; he was already looking into a few.

"Think fast, Urian!"
Taejin was holding back. The boy should have been able to counter in some way.

Urian felt the small tickle on the back of his neck as he stood there waiting his body was tense, even as he yelled in his mind to relax if he was tense then his reaction time would be shit in comparison to many others he could think of immediately. Urian felt paranoid again even before he heard Taejin's voice. That small warning made Urian move as he turned to face Taejin with a quick pivot to see a sheathed sword going towards him.

Urian's mind raised as he saw it and in a few thoughts as he took a step back and swung his foot upwards to try and kick the sword to point anywhere upwards and away from him. Urian felt the leg he was using to support him give out as he fell he called his magic and formed an energy ball in his hand quickly throwing it at Taejin as he slid backwards across the floor a bit away from Taejin. Urian quickly rolled around and pushed himself up again staring at Taejin as he put pressure onto the leg that gave out earlier finding it stable again he stood his eyes focused on Taejin while his hand began to glow a light green color as his hand touched his leg. Urian was trying if anything to use a cure to suppress the pain he felt in his muscles in his leg.

"Pretty... sneaky. Taejin." Urian said his wings spread as he took a deep breath before running at Taejin again his body felt the relieve that the Cure spell had brought it, but Urian knew it wouldn't keep it away forever. That and it wouldn't do shit for any future pain he'd receive in this fight between Taejin.

Taejin didn't just stop moving. The nature of the strike was follow through, after all. The point had been kicked up, something that the boy shouldn't have done had they had been in a real fight. He wouldn't nit-pick, however.

Rotating his sword so that one of the bladed ends would have faced Urian (who was definitely under his sword), Taejin brought it straight down on him while leaving the ground, flipping over the boy. He yank it through, just like he would had the blade made contact and not the sheath. He'd land in the same stance he had been before, just on the opposite side of the kid, and this time not moving.

The magic blast would have deflected right back at the boy, caught on the reflect shield Taejin had thrown up.

"It's what I do."

"Fuck!" Urian yelled as he felt the sheath hit him. Urian put his hand where the sheath hit before standing up his back turned to Taejin as he softly exhaled before he turned and faced Taejin again he ran a hand through his white hair slowly as he thought for a moment about what to do next. Taejin had him beat in most categories... "This is going to be harder then i thought.' Urian muttered out loud as he began feeling mentally for his magic again he felt it and as he stared forward towards Taejin he smiled before exhaling a small breath.

Urian could feel it he was going to have fun with this as he took off towards Taejin he moved his hand quickly as a vind wall appeared behind Taejin. Urian stopped as he smiled as he moved his hand forward, it was a new sensation a stronger one then when he had called earlier as he felt the magic leave his hand not in the form of a ball like usual, but in a full fledged blast aimed straight at his elder brother.

Urian had wanted to say something like 'Dodge this asshole!' or something clever, but sadly nothing came at the moment except the small grin on his face from using something new. Urian had to prepare though and he stepped back in case he missed or Taejin deflected, in Urian's opinion both seemed likely so he spread his wings ready to take off and make this a more then one plane of battle. After all if he could use the Skies to attack Taejin then why wouldn't he?

(So what i did here was [as well as the effect i'm looking for] is a vind wall placed behind Taejin so that even if he does Dodge it hits the wall and if i read the description of energy blast right it does explosive damage... thus leading to my assumption of Area of effect kind of thing... i think that explained it? if not pm me)

Taajin brought his left hand to the Vind wall behind him, which instantly shattered at the touch of his glove. He had always been able to break those things, he wasn't sure why. He saw the blast coming and threw up his own Vind wall which absorbed the explosion and blocked most of the light. He still had to shield his eyes, though.

He could have ran, but he didn't want to do that right now. He wanted to see if the boy could react properly in close quarters combat situations. He would teach with experience, not lectures.

He stepped out of the arcane smoke let off by the two magic forces meeting, holding his sword low and looking casual in general.

"Don't go flying away on me, now."
The words would have transfixed Urian's eyes to Taejin's, severely restricted his focus.

"Come and get me."

Urian tweaked his head to the side as he stared at Taejin, he was pissed and as he met Taejin's stare he felt his focus fade to anything, but his elder brother. His brain wasn't registering taking the advantage of flying up and using it. Urian wanted to land a blow, a solid hit on Taejin he wanted his older brother to feel pain. Urian smiled now and laughed, "Well I'm not planning too anymore if that was the point..." Urian muttered loudly. Urian took a small step towards Taejin his thoughts were focused, just not how they were earlier. Now his mind raced quickly determining ways to fight Taejin close quarters without his knife or staff.

Urian's eyes wandered down to Taejin's sword for a moment before they shot back up his breath was quickly as he put his hand up to his neck and slowly pushed against it in till he heard a slight pop. It wasn't that he was trying to seem like anything in particular, he was taking his time thinking even if his own brain was racing to come up with ideas to beat the shit out of his elder brother. "So i'm guessing you wanna lead this part of our dance?" Urian asked curiously in an amused tone at the idea his eyes... lacked the feeling his voice expressed their definitely was anger there directed straight at his brother.

"Honestly, i'm getting a little fucking annoyed that no matter what i do i can't hit you.." Urian said as he started walking slowly towards Taejin a small step at a time. "Don't misinterpret that... I know the difference between us in skill." Urian said he stopped about nine feet from Taejin. His eyes were locked now as he smiled again, "Now then... May i have this dance?" Urian joked as he took a bow towards Taejin before taking a step back his body was tense all over, but relaxed as he set himself up in a comfortable position so he could move his body without much resistance. Urian wanted Taejin to start this and the one thought that ran through his head before he smiled again and dragged his shoe along the ground in front of him before looking towards Taejin once more.

The thought of course was, 'Take the damn bait.' and only because Urian had somewhat of a plan, but he cursed himself since it was gonna hurt like a bitch for the both of them.

Upon the overlook where her brothers now were a large dark doorway appeared. It’s seemingly endless darkness spilled out across the white ground as a shape began to take form from within. A small body took shape and then began to materialize out of the entrance and into the area. The princess of the Abyss had returned but she was different. Blood flowed from a hand sized wound on her stomach where one hand was on pumping the last reserves of her magic into it to try and stop the flow. The energy was weak, though, and getting weaker still.

Zaria was swaying in her walk now as she grasped the railing in front of her and fell to her knees. She had failed…and not only that but she had failed her family and when her sister came through she didn’t want to face her…she knew what would happen and didn’t want it to come. She couldn’t say a word when she heard those last accusations and knew there would be trouble for them. This all, however, wasn’t the issue here.

Her reserves of magic were waning and the only thing that had predominately kept her steady, and moving, was gone. Her eyes trailed down and noticed that the other two were fighting each other…training perhaps? She didn’t know for sure but she was beginning to see less and less of them and she needed to get their attention somehow.

With the last wanes of her magic she formed a small blob of shadows and tossed it forwards. It was harmless and would do nothing but it would be easy to spot it and hopefully they would see her as well. It was good the effects of that curse put on her voice and magic was gone now though she could only mouth words being too tired to say them. With that last hope she slumped forwards a little and propped herself against the railing.

Her hand still on her stomach desperately trying to keep the little magic she had left in her body going. She could already feel the dark energy that gave her limbs their coherence and strength wane and soon they would fall apart as she tapped into them.

Taejin's attention was immediately brought up to the girl, as he broke the gaze he had with Urian to look at her.

"Zaria!"
He ran to her side, looking at her bleeding body, watching the dark energy and blood ebb out of her.

"We can't heal her, Urian. That'll definitely kill her."
Taejin tried to think of something to do. He wasn't good at this. He had never saved a life before, at least not so directly. Concern for others was a new thing, developed on within the Knights...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arcavia has a strut about her, obviously enjoying her new body. The Dark Priestess/Master of Ceremonies (not yet recognized). Everything about her was darkly seductive, from her revealing clothing to her eyes and lips which seemed to send a message of poisonous sexuality to every male and female she came across.

The possessor had spotted the dying little girl and felt obligated to help. After all, this person was obviously a citizen of the city of the Queen. She also smelt of the abyss... More then enough reason to help.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Taejin saw -it- coming. The body of a female, but he could see the actual being. It was a dark spirit that possessed the body of the woman he saw. The thought sent shivers through his spine. But what was it doing here? It was obviously from the abyss, so he could assume it was friendly.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I can aid. Cure me as I do."

Her latin accent was still thick. Not much she could do about it. Arcavia would cast two blights on the girl and then blight on herself from the body of her host. It enabled her to effectively double output. The dark energies would form a rune on the ground beneath the small, skeletal knight. As it finished, all the healing would hit at once, restoring her life and energy in blasts of what looked like dark energy.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The outpour of dark energy made Taejin uneasy, but he knew thats what Zaria needed so he didn't say anything. As for the things request: that he could do. He healed the body as it was injured. The skin over the host's arms would be peeled back only to be replaced by the curative magic from Taejin. He noticed that he only needed about half as much power to cure the woman then he would have needed to cure Zaria... Interesting. This dark caster had skill.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A smile spread across Arcavia's face as she saw that all would be well.

"Girl, how is it?"
She smiled, holding her hands behind her as she took a step back, bouncing slightly.

"What?" Urian looked quickly the moment he heard Taejin's voice call their sisters name. "Zaria!!" Urian yelled as he ran over to her only a second behind Taejin. "Then what the fuck can we do?" Urian said as he took a knee down next to his sister. "Damn it all.." Urian said his hand went through his hair his eyes filled with worry for his sister as he noticed someone approaching quickly. Urian was silent as the woman approached Taejin seemed to think the stranger could help so his body relaxed as he carefully watched and kept his calm as he looked down to his sister.

"Geez... She's seriously messed up. who the hell could of done that." Urian said his eyes looking towards Taejin, "And someones gonna burn in hell for hurting my little sister... right?" Urian looked to Taejin for a moment as if expecting something before he looked down again. Urian's voice was cold for just a moment as he kept his eyes down on Zaria and it cold feel faded, "Hey Zaria... honey you okay?" Urian whispered when he thought the strange woman had finished what she was doing to help their sister.

Her vision was blurry and she could hear voices…they had noticed her. That was good and she was glad now tears streaming down the side of her face as she struggled to turn her head towards them. She was aware that one other person had shown up as well and from the strange accent she figured an abyssal healer of some sort.

She struggled to speak as the new person, a woman, began to heal her wounds while Taejin healed hers. The curse of dark magic and she stopped the flow of energy and allowed them to patch her up rather effectively. She could see the worry in their eyes and she closed her eyes as the tears streamed down her face still. With a deep, painful, shudder she coughed a little before she spoke. ”Urian…Taejin…” she choked out as her eyes turned to the one who healed her wounds.

Though she wasn’t in any danger now of bleeding out she was still very low on energy…the very thing that sustained her existence currently. There wasn’t anything they could do about that though as she would need rest and nourishment to fix that as she continued to struggle to continue speaking. ”Thank…you. I’m feeling better…now.” she said as she turned to her family again and then looked down.

”I’m sorry…I messed up. I messed up…so badly…Sister is probably going to be…upset when she returns.” she said coughing a little more and then leaning back against the railing. She couldn’t bring herself to sit up anymore. ”I thought…I thought I was going…to die…Those demons…those people…” she muttered her body shaking from those last moments. She would never forget that image for the rest of her life.

She turned her head and a small whimper escaped her throat. She was still terrified of it all and she was exhausted. ”I’m tired…but I don’t want to close my eyes…” she mumbled as she fought to keep her eyes open now. She just needed a nap but she was too scared to even think about trying to sleep. She was sure those demons might come through that portal still or, even worse, her sister would and would be furious with her.

Darkness bubbled like fog from between the ivory tiles of the balcony, billowing to engulf it's floor in shadow before she took form within it's midsts. From behind Arcavia, sapphire eyes roamed the faces of each prince as the energy lingered; but she remained eerily silent, and still.

Finally, her gaze came to the back of the Priestess's head, and she lifted her chin very so slightly.

A word on wine, with you, in a moment? Her eyes shifted to survey the princes serenely again, and she shifted to move toward them.

"Lady Evangeline and her Associate will be attending tonight's banquet." She stated lightly, and drew to a slow stop as her eyes focused on Zaria, and softened. She fell quiet again, motionless as she considered. Much progress had been made in such a short night, and still there was much to be done. The child's antics had proven inconvenient, but they had also brought the family together-- and such was the foundations of the bond they shared. There was no cause for anger.

Nothing had been lost, but the lesson here was just as integral to the family, as it would be to Zaria. It would not go unheeded.

"Are you better, my love?"

Arcavia smiled and stepped back, letting the Queen join the little circle. The girl would be fine, so her work was done with this little group.

"Whatever you desire."

Wine... It had been popular in her day, but as to what the Queen could want to dicuss about it, Arcavia had no idea.

Taejin stood and looked at the Queen.

"Who and who? And what happened to Zaria?"

Urian shushed the injured girl softly as she cried, "Don't worry she won't be angry." Urian said softly trying to cheer Zaria up. Urian turned to the strange woman and gave her a smile, "Thank you for your help it is deeply appreciated." His smile didn't fade as his eyes danced over from the woman to Taejin and then to the form that was his mother before he became quiet to let his mother speak to them. "Guests? Damn... that means i actually do have to dress up nicely for the party." Urian joked slightly before he looked over to Taejin a sill grin on his face, "Don't start thinking of pick up lines already Taejin." Urian's grin was plastered to his face before he leaned down and kissed the top of Zaria's forehead.

"See told you Zaria... When the things precious to her are hurt, Mother isn't going to be mad, but worried about them though she might get really mad at the things that hurt them. So don't worry about her being angry so much your her precious little sister." Urian whispered as he looked down at Zaria his eyes filled with a little bit of joy and more so of worry at the same time. Urian looked up again his eyes concerned slightly, "Shouldn't we move her somewhere she could rest, i mean before the party... though Taejin and I should probably get cleaned up for that as well..."

Urian looked down around at his family and laughed to himself before he stood up wobbling a bit as he did so before he went over to Taejin and punched him softly on the arm, "We'll finish training when we've got some more free time right?" Urian didn't really wait knowing that Taejin HAD dubbed him his special project as he moved on towards his mother quickly giving her a small, quick hug before he went back to looking down at Zaria.

"We are such a weird family."

Zaria’s eyes turned towards her sister and then she looked down at the ground. She was sure she was going to be upset with her because of what those people said. Some were truths…others were lies and half-truths. She felt Urian place a gentle kiss on her head and she felt a little at ease at least from his words. She sniffled a little and then looked up at her sister and stared at her for a moment. She was still tired but she drudged up the energy to try and speak.

”I’m…ok now.” she said swallowing hard and trying to keep her gaze level with hers as best as she could. There was a lot of thing she wanted to talk about, explain, but she couldn’t form the words. She had made an error in judgment from the influence of the things that controlled her and there was no getting around it. She tried to find the words but she simply looked down and stared at the ground.

”I’m sorry…I didn’t mean to cause trouble. I was trying to help them…but what I tried to say came out wrong…” she finally managed to say after pausing for a moment. She then looked back up at Adrianna and then turned to look at everyone else. They were all strong…brave and kind. They were her new family and yet she couldn’t help but feel powerless to help them any. She always messed up whenever it was needed and she was aware that she couldn’t even control her powers correctly without them causing problems and taking over.

Her eyes traveled down to the bones of her arms and legs that were without flesh. She could see the dark energy that flowed through them, albeit very low right now, and knew that if she ran out of energy they would stop altogether…and she would probably never come back. She flexed her hands a little and the darkness raced along and caused the same motion her muscles would have if they had still been there.

She wasn’t a bad girl, she was still only 10, and she had suddenly been thrust into a world of darkness, fighting, and scary things. She knew that she only had one thing she could do now, as best as such a weak child that no longer lived could do, and it was the most basics of basic things that her parents had lovingly taught her long ago before they were all taken from her.

She moved both of her arms and grasped the railing behind her as she struggled to stand up. If her arms and legs had still been in tact she was sure they would have hurt terribly. She still hurt, though, but because her power was weak still and not because of muscle strain. Her legs wobbled, her arms shook, but she managed to stand herself up as she lowered her head.

”I caused a problem for you that could have become even worse. I’m useless…I can’t control my own body at times and I can’t even protect myself. I’m dead, a monster, something people hate. If I can’t learn to control myself then I’ll only become more of a problem for my family, for the Abyss, and to others.” she said her voice strained and the clear evidence that she was scared and sad at that fact; however she looked up at Adrianna and then to her family before she continued to talk more. ”But I want to apologize to them myself. I want to set things right again.” she said rubbing her eyes with her arm letting it hang in the air for a moment before she finally decided to announce the last thing on her mind.

”After I apologize, though, I’m leaving here. I’m going to find Akor and then I’m going to go somewhere far far away from here. There’s someone I have to find but I don’t know where exactly to look for them. I don’t know when I’ll be back though…or even if I come back at all.” she said her words sad but her resolve determined. There was only one thing she was aiming to do right now and she was going to have to search for it on her own. She didn’t know where to start, though, but she had to do this. After all the best way to control the problem is to better understand how it happened which led to the one thing that scared her the most but would be the only way she could think of to fix the problem. She was going to have to find the remains or the knowledge of the one who killed her.

She was going to have to track down everything related to Vennel Renatose.

((Left the darkness there so you could take the energy from it, Chime.))

She listened to each of them with quiet reservation. Her brothers, naturally, asked for explanation; and their requests meant no less than the one given, but it was on Zaria that her gaze lingered.

For a moment longer, she remained silent-- pensive, as she considered the child's words; before something in her eyes seemed to shift, and she came forward to kneel beside the girl.

"Zaria, my love." She spoke softly, "We all fail; and in the Abyss, we are all dead. We are all forsaken, hated, by one or another. It is an ugly truth, but one we must face nevertheless. It is the darkness, which will house light. It is pain, which beats the path to learning."

She paused, there, to touch the girl's arm if she would let her; allowing just the hint of a reassuring smile to touch her lips.

"This is the reason for the family. For one who may weep, there are countless more to stand. For one who may fall, there are countless more to carry. Look-- how your brother Urian seeks to soothe you. How Taejin calls for knowledge. How your body has been healed-- there is no need to fear the mistakes you have made. The Family is Deliverance, and our devotion is as pure as your own."

She stood, and looked quietly toward Taejin, and then Urian. A child could not be blamed for acting childishly; and the fault was, in part, her own.

"The Lady Evangeline is the Goddess of Death in the Shadow Plane." She explained lightly. "While not unmanageable as an enemy, she could become a natural asset in alliance to the Abyss. She has recently come upon grave misfortune; and also great power. Creatures..."

She seemed to withdraw within herself, just very slightly as she spoke of the monsters the girl had faced; and looked over the edge of the balcony as whisps of smoky shadow continued to swirl between the ivory bones of it's banister.

"Creatures of the Abomination's ilk." She went on, dimmed and haunted as she spoke the words; knowing that only one amongst them could understand them. It was the only way of survival, in the Abyss, to look to the light; but She did have her shadows. Among them, the Abomination was the deepest; and the first to rear her head. With luck, all of her seals remained safely in place; and her eyes safely blinded.

She could not know of Lady Evangeline. She could not know of the lesser's of her horrible breed.

She lifted her chin, and went on; "I have offered, to her, a number of our barrels from the Well of Syn; as aid to feed them. She has accepted." Paused, and looked toward Arcavia; "But these creatures cannot be left to ignorance. Your memories of Her deepest recesses are strongest among us; and so I would leave their education to you. Let it be simple; but leave them no doubt as to where their brethren stand."

Pausing, she looked forward again. "Urian. Your kindness and compassion shines with radiance measurable only against the fury of the Abyss. I would ask you and Pandora, if she is available, to accompany your sister in her mission of apology. Remember that there are two sides to every story, and that none are inherently wrong. Look with an open mind, speak with an open heart; and your light guide the way."

"Taejin," She shifted her eyes once more. "I would ask you to go to Tristan. Dawn has come without word; and I fear there may yet be danger upon their doorstep. If it is so, I have faith that you will know what to do."

Taejin was happy to be given another mission, and although the answer wasn't entirely clear, what was clear was that Adrianna had handled the situation. As for Urian's thought about pick up lines... If this 'Lady' was any kind of attractive, no promises would be made.

"Tristan. Right. They had a thing there. I'll get right on that."

After he got a map, because he had no idea where it was. He turned on his heel and left, just like that.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A smile spread across Arcavia's face, followed by a bit of a giggle. Sustanance with a message. How nice. And from what she gathered she'd be dealing with demons. The infernal... Just like the divine. Both abandoned the Abyssals. And she had seen the depths of that abandonment.

Urian was listening to Zaria's words silently he got a little annoyed by the thought of her leaving though he kept his cool, and patiently listened before he smiled, "I see." Urian's eyes danced from Zaria to his mother before his mother spoke. Urian felt his grin return as he blushed slightly when his mother mentioned his want to help soothe Zaria. Urian kept quiet as his mother continued speaking and then began giving tasks to the family.

Urian blushed and rubbed the back of his head quickly as his mother spoke of his kindness and compassion. Urian gulped and smiled shyly, "It's not that impressive..." Urian muttered he felt embarrassed by his mothers praise again, "That and i don't think She'd be to pleased if you compared me to her fury mom." Urian said as he looked carefully at his mother.

"After all, She is the jealous type." Urian spoke softly of the abyss with an silent admiration of Her before he took a bow to his mother accepting her orders, "I understand i'll see if Pandora is up to accompanying us before we find Akor and head out." Urian then turned and went over towards Zaria and lightly flicked her forehead, "Geez you... already getting out of the castle and on an adventure?" Urian wrapped Zaria in a hug before smiling softly and letting her out of it, "Come on, lets go find Pandora and that dragon of yours Akor so we can go apologize. Okay?" Urian smiled as he looked at her before thinking, "Can you walk? if you can't i can give you a piggy back ride till you can walk again." Urian smirked silently as he waited for an answer from Zaria.

Zaria felt a small trickle of darkness flowing through her body that the energy greedily sipped from to restore the lost energy of her own. She listened to her families words and she looked to them all before she nodded. She knew what she meant…she was loved here and no matter what it would be so. ”I know…but the reason I have to go is because unlike everyone here and in the Abyss I’m still different. I can control this energy in my body only because Akor assisted me with doing so. However I know you all must have seen it…the thing that lurks inside me that wants only to feed and kill. It’s something that isn’t me but I’m sure came from one thing.” she said as she halted for a moment. Her mind wandered to the very thing she talked about before she, nervously and shakily, went to finish her sentence.

”What I have to find is everything related to the one who took everyone and everything away from me. He is the person who took my arms and legs, my family, friends, and home away from me in his attempt to create the ultimate power.” she spoke the words pained as she didn’t want to remember it. ”The problem is I don’t know where my hometown is or even how long it’s been since that day on my tenth birthday when I was killed. If Vennel is alive then he’ll know have the means to rid me of the thing he created. If he isn’t then I’ll have to find someone who was related to him, his research, or even his dead body.” she said her eyes distancing away from the grim reality of what this meant to her.

She was grateful, though, that Urian, and even Pandora hopefully, would be able to help her out. She was scared of doing this because Vennel was a powerful necromancer in life and if his family continued that trait, or if he was even still alive, it meant that it was possible she would have to fight a bunch of them.

When Urian flicked her on the head she went cross-eyed for a moment and then looked up at him. ”I can walk but I want a piggy back ride too!” she said with a smile before she took a serious look at him. She wrapped her arms around him when he hugged her and buried her face into him. ”I’m sorry. If you come along with me I want you to make me a promise.” she said as she looked up at him and stared directly at him. ”Promise me that if things get really bad you and Pandora will run away and leave me behind. If I can’t control myself, or I lose control of myself to Vennel, that you will get as far away as you can. Vennel could create a lot of undead and he was the one who put the thing inside me that I can’t control. If it takes over…I don’t…I don’t want to accidentally hurt you. So promise me!” she said gripping his outfit tighter.
