The Phoenix and the Fox, Private, Roush and Naga

Roush and Naga appeared in the sky in a sudden flash of magic, being dropped directly into the fountain. They would have crashed hard had Roush not used his air alchemy to soften the landing. He stood in the middle of the water, watching his partners blood form patterns as it floated up and out of his body.

He could only pray to Kailihira that he was not too late.
"Goddess of Oceans and the afterlife, allow my friend more time, please. Bless these waters even more then they have been already, I beg of you."

It was out of his hands now... He was not a healer. Hopefully the water's healing properties could save his friend. In a way, he was another causality of the Aesir... Roush didn't want to lose another A'ni to them.

The water began to glow slightly, tracing up the blood and into the wounds. Roush could only hold Naga's head above water, and hope for the best as the gnawing guilt in the back of his mind grew.

Naga screamed as he felt the water he was forced awake viciously by the water as he thrashed suddenly the stinging healing waters that flowed into his wounds as they healed. Naga bit down hard on his lip as he tried his best not to scream in pain at the sensations. Naga's hands shot upwards grabbing onto Roush.

This shit hurts! Naga looked upwards as he smiled through the pain again and started laughing slightly even though it hurt as he let tears fall for a moment before he let his body relax, "I should smack you... All that shit hurt like hell man.. Now get me the fuck out of this-... where the hell are we?" Naga's voice cracked as he looked towards Roush and started coughing as he shivered slightly

"...Remind me next time i attempt suicide to just jump off a building... it would of been easier." Naga laughed again as he closed his eyes and began taking deep breaths before pulling himself up using Roush.

"So.. now what..."

Roush had to laugh as Naga snapped back to life. He drug the man up to sit on the side of the fountain with him, finally looking around to see that they had gotten a lot of attention.

"What? Nothing interesting going on here! Go!"
He shooed the onlookers away, before turning back to Naga.

"Now... We protect this chick, no matter how bitchy she gets. We need a face. And frankly, as long as she doesnt start fucking up the company, I'm happy to let her do her thing. I'll use most of my profits to keep the A'ni supplied and hidden, and our trade routes will soon double as a sort of underground passageway and safehouses for us, and people like us."

Roush reached for his cigarettes, pulling them out of his shirt pocket. The were soaked, of course. He threw them at Naga, the carton bouncing off his head.

"Right now we can take a breath. We'll find Our partner soon enough, though, and start moving on Senya."

Naga looked over to Roush before he felt a shiver run through his body again as the ground was scared off by his superior. That word no longer felt like poison to Naga though the fact he felt a soaked carton of ciggarettes bounce of his head before he complained, "Oy i don't smoke any more i quit after the whole Ascantha thing." Naga closed his eyes as he looked over his clothing soaked full of holes. Naga then looked at Roush, "I think it might be a good idea for me to buy you a new pack of those... and also i don't think we should mention crashing through three or four floors of a reconstructed building."

Naga tried to stand up his body shaking slightly as he stood up carefully before looking back over his brother in arms, "Alrighty then going to say this now and don't expect to hear it again unless i really screw up...' Naga took a breath before reaching out with a hand, "Sorry boss." before he thought for a long moment, "Maybe i should be involved a less with you after this... at least in till i get the anger issues out of my system. Food for thought for later."

"Bah... Let's just say it was necessary for construction. Gotta break stuff to build, occasionally."

Roush waved off Naga's apology. There was no need to make anything awkward or sentimental... Or any more then they had gotten anyway.

"You have a oood relationships with Eve, yes? I might just station you in that city, to function as out recruitment officer, emissary, and to look after the collective interests of Senya and Ultimatum. That is, if we can get the deal going."

It would be interesting, to say the least.

"For now, you can try to track down Armin and rejoin him. I have to find Freya, but I shouldn't be far behind you."

The air around Roush spun quickly, blowing the water off of his clothing, and under that his armor opened in flaps, allowing the air to penetrate and dry him out as quickly as possible.

"You're a good A'ni, Naga. Just try to keep your head on straight, and I'll do that same."

With a salute, Roush blasted into the air. Finding Freya would be... fun.
