What makes this forum so unique is the ability system. Unlike all other forum based RPGs Dark Forest has an ability system that consists of well over 200+ techniques, 70+ weapons, 40+ items, and tokens used for special items only available in special shops. The interesting thing about the abilities though is that you gain them through increased activity. The more active you are the more abilities you gain. At the moment the technique cap is around 4000 posts, but that doesn't mean that more aren't being added all the time. Here’s a featured list of classes:

• Druid

Each of the above classes features another addition, an Elite Upgrade which grants access to separate sections of the forum, leadership roles with members and say in changes that take place on the forum. There is a list here and at the bottom of the forum for all classes and their elite upgrade icons.

The forum has over 100+ areas to explore including hidden areas in which you must break the password in order to receive a unique item. We also feature Dragons with unique abilities.

When using the techniques you gain you will notice that each class has completely unique talents. Such as a Mages Fira technique, or a Druids Photosynthesis technique. Perhaps you would like to control the elements as an Alchemist, perhaps controlling Water or Wind . Maybe your character leans towards the Dark way of things and would rather drain life from yourself to create massive Shadow Lances , or perhaps you would rather create illusions as a Psychic with Copy . Whichever you choose we are sure you will find a class that meets your needs here at the Dark Forest.
