Area Update: Temple of the Brothers

The stench of death and fire swept through the decayed city. The milling bodies of demons added much to the sounds and stench as they went about assigned tasks with renewed vigor. There was a new General in command of Akara, and she wanted results. A large building had been erected some time ago at the back of the city. It was called "The Temple of the Brothers." Close to two-hundred demons now resided in the building, Imps running back and forth with materials rebuilding, and recovering what was lost to time.

A bridge spanned over a pit of fire burning with blue and black, leading to a circular expanse directly at the pits center, seemingly held stable in the air by nothing but air and willpower. At the center of the expanse five skull heads were symetrically attached, attended by a Doom Guard, and two Mage Demons set at each chanting rythmically as the gate itself was being restored to further functionality. Past the bridge Five Berserker demons lay tethered in chains magically strengthened to preposterous proportions, set to break on a command word from one of the five doom guards. The Berserker demons were uncontrollable but would kill without hesitation the enemies of the army, so the control was necessary.

Past the bridge into the heart of the decayed building three Pit Lords walks the hallways in measured gaps, attended by a Mage Demon able to communicate easily back to the gate as well as to the Unkown Citadel in case of emergency. The demons were tireless as they worked, the Imp demons being herded by Lesser Demons, and again in turn by full demons themselves, creating a system of "Do this or you will perish" ideals.
