Title: Homecoming Match
Description: Kilik Vs Dory

Dory - November 7, 2010 09:52 PM (GMT)
Post count: Know what? Just to be nice, let's boost you up to my level. ;)

Classes: Whatever you've got

People: Just me and Kilik

Setting: Alegrarse Temple Training room

Did I miss anything? Fuck it, I'm in a hurry. Cupcakes are waiting to be baked, damnit.

Xanthe could think of at least one hundred different places she would have preferred to have found herself in that exact moment. She could have been on the battle front somewhere, expanding the empire. She could've been in the pastures of Roft, teaching Zaire how not to leap for any and all blood that she saw. She could've been in the throne room, discussing politics with her concubines and learning all that she could about her new position. Hell, she could've been in her room, strumming away on some stringed instrument that vaguely resembled a guitar... but no. She was striding in to the training room, agitated, with her crossbow at her side. Malaya trailed behind her from a safe distance of two yards, eyes shifting this way and that-- the meeting hadn't been cleared by anyone, much less the battle. A battle she intended to end with death.

How would it look? A new regent killing the first poor fool that had dared challenge her? Well, Xanthe didn't much care about that. She wasn't dealing with the first sword of the Empire and his games, and that was the part that mattered.

"Where is he?" She demanded as she made her way in to the center of the room, cerulean eyes glancing sharply back toward her high priestess as she shifted, propping her mini-crossbow against her hip. "Is he late, or have we been lied to again?"

Malaya shifted uncomfortably, slipping behind one of the many suits of armor the training room had to offer, and peeking back toward the door awkwardly. "I don't know." She whispered. She wasn't supposed to be there either. "The guard didn't tell me anything except that there was someone here to challenge you, my lady. Be careful... it may be an ambush."

Kilik - November 7, 2010 10:03 PM (GMT)
Kilik didn't have to wait long all though he knew that this was going to be a little confusing he could remember xanthe and how rediculus she could get from thier very shrt time together... But would she recognize him in this form? That was the true question. He swooped down on his glorious golden wings tipped in silver to land only ten or so feet away from her.

A dust stirred in his wake and before it could settle down he opened his mouth. "So you finally came." His voice wasn't what she could remember he was sure of it. It was alot more higher pitched and in truth his hair had grown as if overnight to his mid back. "You may call me Kira" The voice was cool and collected he wasn't going to waste much time with her now.

He raised his hand. "THUNDAGA!" The words had not entirely slipped his mouth as a bolt of thick lightning struck the ground inbetween them both. In that flash he was back in the sky ready to dive again at a mere moments notice. In his haste he did not see the other trailing behind his target. He knew she wanted a fight to the death. She always did...

"So WHEN DO YOU WANT TO START?! or are there any questions?" He screamed louder the higher he rose untill he found a corner to perch himself on he let the last of his sentance come as a whisper barely audible. The runes in his eyes spun so fast the color turned from that ice blue to pure black. He fingered the talisman around his now slender neck. His sex change would be her fault for now....

(ooc: short and to the point also I WANT SOME... oh also is that quick enough for ya lol)

Dory - November 7, 2010 10:30 PM (GMT)
((Wowwww It's been so long since I've fought a mage. I almost forgot they existed. *cracks her fingers*)) ((Also... when did Kilik and Xanthe meet? o.0 Have I forgotten something from her first run through? Pretty sure she only lasted for one topic, there. You may be thinking Siran.))

Xanthe sighed, shuffling back a couple of steps as the thundaga hit the floor, sending her skin to tingle and her hair to frizz, but doing very little to actually pain her. A grand entrance. Playing. As Malaya threw herself further behind the armor, back pressed against the cold steel, the regent shook her head, fingertips of one hand combing through her hair.

"I've had enough of games." She called, almost pleadingly, though she wasn't sure how far her voice would make it through the chambers, much less how far she needed it to go. Shifting, she dropped the crossbow on the floor at her feet, and lifted her fingers to the bindings on the front of her Regents robe. The tunic beneath it was less than queenly, but if her opponent wasn't in front of her now, and Malaya wasn't screaming that he was somewhere hidden in a location similar to her own, he was above her. She would need her wings, and there was no point in ruining such finery. "Why don't you just tell me what it is you want, and we'll get this over with, hm?!"

As the robe dropped to pool at her feet, she tilted her head back, peering upwards in hopes of finding the figure.

"Or at least who you are? I'll need a name for your gravestone, after all!"

Kilik - November 7, 2010 10:41 PM (GMT)
(I'm sadden to hear that Dory but you should've known I was a number 1 contender for magic. And It might be siran but I could've sworn that Kilik got inbetween Xanthe and Freya at one point and well no matter just a shift in writing is all it will take.)

"You may have heard me by the name Kilik but You may call me Kira and as Kira I shall be your angel of death" The words were loud enough for her to hear "I'm here as your assassin" as the second sentance was spoken Kilik Shot from his pearch to another placing himself behind her "BLIZAGA!" The room started to flurry in hail pretty soon armour would mean nothing.

That was the advantage he was looking for. Again he moved to another perch before he spoke. "It seems your confused... Let me give you a reminder. He whispered his next spell and the exctasy of the arcane swirled in his blood there was nothing better than magic except for vegence and he planed to blame the entire sex change on her.

before he dropped himself in front of her he summoned a wall of vindaga between them even if she charged she would never see the wall It was all just a game to him for now. He would take it to the next level soon.

Finally he placed himself in front of her. "Recgonize me yet?" The voice was smooth and cold ment to send chills up her spine.

Dory - November 7, 2010 11:03 PM (GMT)
Her assassin? Her angel of death? It took very nearly every fiber of control within Xanthe's body to keep herself from snorting outright. What did this person know about the divine? What did they know about angels or demons? Though, as the Blizzaga began to swirl around the room, she thought again-- The girl may well have been delusional, but she also had talent. The walls and armor froze over, hail threatening to pelt in to her, but as she lifted a hand, batting away most of it like ping pong balls with tiny pushes, she kept herself mainly out of fire.

A flair for the dramatic. She lifted an eyebrow as the figure placed herself before her, asking if she recognized her yet with a voice that was more than likely meant to be frightening. It probably would have been, too... if she had the right person.

"Nope." She answered airily, eyes lifting to trace the sense of the wall she could feel but not see, before she shook her head, and her wings burst from her back, pristine white feathers edged with obsidian. "But you should probably figure out what you're talking about before you go attacking people.

Clenching her hand, she shifted her focus, changing push in to evocation as she caught the balls of hail to hover around her, gathering before the cylinder of ice rose around her, dissintigrating(sp) again in to little chunks of ice, which she pelted at him rather carelessly from over the wall.

((Ummm... I think we planned on having that happen, and then it never did because she never got out of her little cult spot and I wound up scrapping her for Amitiel.))

Kilik - November 7, 2010 11:11 PM (GMT)
(ooc i suppose your right no matter will fix it in game later but since its a pvp i've little care to fix them atm lol I'm lazy you know that.... Sorry its short)

Kilik caught the airy respone and was beyond aggravated. His curse, his disease had shown to flat out change who he was. "Well then imagine me as a weaker and sicker male..." He supposed that comment was enough all though it might bring about a bit of confusion which was all he really needed.

"ENOUGH!" He waved his hand and forced the blizaga to settle within a matter of seconds he broke the wall with a snap of the fingers and stared in depthly at her. "You look alot like your aunt you know." With a grin he took flight again and in that flash he was sure the comment would have enraged her.

Sweeping his wings sharply several feather like bolts of lightining shot at her like densely sparkiling meteorites aimed for her cheast if this was to be an arial battle he was going to give a show to the timid weaking watching from below.

Dory - November 7, 2010 11:23 PM (GMT)
As the ice disappeared mid hurl, Xanthe ignored the comment about the woman being a weaker and more sickly male-- as it didn't particularly matter-- but the statement that she looked like her aunt got to her.

Really got to her.

Bad.

Just like that, she was in motion, kneeling to retrieve her crossbow before she leapt in to the air, letting displace carry her higher before her wings caught her well above the sparkling feathers, and sent her in to an awkward spin. As she flipped upside down, the bolts slipped from her tunic pockets, but she caught one as she began to right herself, slamming it in to the crossbow's chamber and jerking back the cord to hook it manually against the clip. As her feet caught the support beams, she flapped her wings once more, bracing herself against it, and firing the bolt in the direction from which the glittering feathers had come.

Even then, she didn't stop moving. With a sharp kick, she pushed herself away from the foundation, dropping her crossbow and stretching her gauntleted arms before her, the metal parts beneath her fingers flipping out, and sharpening in to claws.

Kilik - November 7, 2010 11:35 PM (GMT)
There it was. The rage he was looking for. Rage had a way of disorienting those who were susptible to it. Kilik knew that it wouldn't take too much. He pushed himself upward and a bolt slit between his legs. At that moment he was very happy to have been a female. In a moment of tension he wrapped his wings around his body and spirled downward.

Before his contact with the ground he spread his wings and sent a shockwave of electricity in a radius of twentyfive feet. All though he had spread his wings Kilik could not catch any wind and forced himself into a roll which placed him in front of the snivling wretch that came with Xanthe. As he landed he forced his feet to push again he needed to get airborne but he was going to take the follower with him.

He reached out his arm and grabbed the girl by the collar at least he thought he did looking down only to see a helmet from one of the suits of armour. "BLIZZAGA!" This time there was no blizzard to be swept in but instead the floor had become a series of icecicles pointed upward thirsting for an arial victom and kilik inteaded on giving them one.

He looked around to see that Xanthe had still manged to keep her straight path but had caught his series of dives. He gave her a grin and held his place mid-air he searched and prepped his next spell to hold within his minds eye ready at a moments notice and he fingered the talisman around his neck still holding the helmet in his other hand.

Dory - November 7, 2010 11:50 PM (GMT)
((Ey-- if I remember correctly, you have SOME kind of im. What was it? xD))

Malaya's back slammed against the back of yet another suit of armor as icy spikes jutted from the floor, and she shivered, wrapping her arms around herself. Her eyes skittered upwards toward the man who grasped the helmet, thinking it had been her to begin with. She was not in what one would call a "Safe" position... then again, she never was anymore. It was the one dual edged sword of falling under Xanthe's rule. Life was interesting... and always in peril.

"Slippery bitch..." Xanthe muttered, voice gutteral as she stopped her drill-like approach, and spun again, eyes glowing with energy as she sensed for the source of the blizzaga that had stretched below her. Head turning as she found it, she glared first at the helmet, and then at the pendant the woman was clutching.

The corner of her lips twitched upwards, and she beat her wings once, twice, lifting her high enough to rest on one of the rafters. She held on to it with one hand, leaning herself over it perilously as she pointed one clawed figure at this 'Kira'.

"Why don't we stop with the games?!" She called, rocking back and forth off of the rafter as her wings fluttered above her. "You don't stand a chance and you -fucking- know it!"

As she focused, the helmet in his hand began to melt.

Kilik - November 8, 2010 12:04 AM (GMT)
(its a yahoo but not in affect atm... but krodgersiii@yahoo.com)

Kilik hovered and stared intently at his newfound target and just grinned. He continued his grin until she unfurled a gnarly clawed finger at him. She screamed him under his pretensed name her threat only brought her to a full fledged smile. until the helmet in his hand started simmer and melt in his hands. He tossed the helmet as it turned bright red and clasped both hands over the talisman in his hands.

His eyes rolled back the runes still spinning in the back of his skull his eye sockets now looked like empty vortexs coming to swallow everything whole. He called to his affinity with the wind the talisman started to spin within his hands and he beckoned the storm. "May the Gale come as a hurricane. Your last breath shall escape from thee, as I call THUNDAGAS may your body be an electric crucifix. So I wish for BLIZZAGAS to rattle your body with hail. He could feel the force of the arcane and his own affintity to run rampant throughout his body as a storm started to unfold in front of the combatants.

The helmet was sent flying and freezing over stright for Xanthes head. four bolts of blueish white lightning built a wall preventing Xanthe's escape. there was only one way to go for both of them as again a hail storm flurried full force between them and the ground reaching upward attempting to grab its victom. "I'M DONE PLAYING... I THINK DEATH IS BENEATH BOTH OF US XANTHE!"

Dory - November 8, 2010 12:19 AM (GMT)
((Argh.. I was trying to get the bbq conversation somewhere a little quicker.))

Xanthe grinned slightly as the metal scalded the woman's hand, and pushed herself away from the rafter, letting her wings act as a sort of parashoot as she shifted to the one behind her, and then the one behind that.

As the iced over helmet slammed against her previous grounding, the gauntlets slipped from her hands, stretching in to a metal wall that caught the onslaught of lightning, charging even as she took the blast of cold. She almost wished she was still outside-- the stinging burn of ice would have been little more than a refreshment in the desert, but as things were, she had little other choice.

As frost edged at her skin, she bit down on her lower lip, and focused instead on the floor beneath her. She needed that ice to melt. Shaking her head, and keeping small behind the cover of charged metal (Who knows, maybe her opponent would think her to be dead?) she thought over her situation.

And then sent a hefty push in to the ceiling.

As the glass shattered under the force, the full beams of the Hassan sun rained down on the icy floor, bringing it to water fairly quickly. Closing her eyes, she counted to five, praying Malaya would find some way out of the way, and pushed the metal, to the floor, slipping it with alchemy back toward her the instant after it had touched the water, already transforming it back in to the gauntlets from which it had come.

Kilik - November 8, 2010 12:32 AM (GMT)
As fast as the storm had come within the walls it had left Kilik may have been foolish about his magic and how much to exert it before but he know different now. Its what cost him everything he knew to begin with. He watched as Xanthe had displaced his murderious intent when she brought the hassan sun in.

The floors turned to water and he couldn't find the bitch he was fighting. "XANTHE!" Kilik screamed with rage. He wanted to put her down with his own hands and then he saw her. The other insolent whelp that had come with Xanthe attempting to escape. Who could blame her under the immense power that she had seen in a matter of seconds he too would want to leave. "AS THE MAGI OF THE STORM I WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING YOU KNOW XANTHE!"

He swooped in this time preparing to fully grasp her. Malaya had not seen it even seen it coming as he wraped his wings around her and took her within him. Xanthe would have to come if she wished to save her. He opened his wings just largely enough for Xanthe to be able to see Malaya's neck and Kilik's Hand in a blinding blue light as he charged it with a highly condensed thundaga.

Kilik's figertips just barely inches away from Malaya's juguler muscle on her left side. He was ready to punish Xanthe. "Don't worry child..." He whispered it softly and kindly as if pursuading Malaya that in the wings of a Ruinic all was safe yet outside those wings it was destructive. "I will protect you Xanthe is my ONLY target and when its over I will bring you into the fold." As he said that last word his wings flapped to show a destructive world outside his wings and again he folded her within.

Dory - November 8, 2010 12:41 AM (GMT)
Malaya screamed as she found herself taken off guard, brought close to the strange enemy's body. Xanthe's body arched almost inhumanly, fingers spreading outward again as the gauntlets reformed around her hands, wrists, and forearms. The magi was going up, through the hole she had made in the ceiling.

She was in -so- much trouble. Then again, she had warned the emperor that she might have enemies... hadn't she?

"Malaya!" She called sharply as the concubine turned priestess writhed within her confines, hands gripping at the one wrapped around her neck before the Regent's voice caught her ears, and the Magi's wings opened for just long enough for her to see the woman. She nodded once, curtly in memory, before her body stilled, and she closed her eyes, letting her arms droop down to her sides.

As Xanthe stood, the younger woman's wrists jerked to wedge between herself and her captor. The gauntlets that matched her Regents, otherwise hidden by her priestess gown, joined then, as though they were full arm shackles, before they exploded outward, toward Kira's stomach.

((I feel like I'm godmoding here... but I'm really not. >.< Look at Malaya's profile, the gauntlets are there.))

Kilik - November 8, 2010 12:54 AM (GMT)
(no need i have trust in you)

The explosion of steel thrust through his intestines the force of the impact forced kiliks hand through Malaya's neck almost decapitating her on spot but the force of electricity sent through her caused her flesh to burn the smell was welcoming to Kilik. The metal asorbed the electricity and sent it back through Kilik's body which was a strange sensation for him.

The burns almost welded himself to Malaya and his wings opened he wasn't going down by himself. He wielded what energy was left as darkness crept in his vision and forced Xanthe to come towards him using the affinity of the wind that swept through him. It was much to late as darkness crept further leaving a pinprick of vision in his right eye.

A single intake of air.

"Xanthe..." He couldn't bring it to himself to finish and in his mind's eye the runes he held in the deepest recessess of his mind since the beginning of the burst forth in place of any word he could have spoken. His Body was now a conducter of pure electricity and the rune was his aid.

One last rasping breath.

With that final breath he exploded sending the pure arcane to cleanse the room. The electricity hit the water and the suits of armor were just beacons of pure conductors. He opened his eyes and he was the final purity of arcane energy he overtook everything and forced himself at Xanthe. He didn't plan on killing her now... Not now that he was pure arcane energy he planned on infusing everything that he was with Xanthe.

Survival of the fittest...

(Hope you enjoyed this as much as I did and sorry if I Godmodded which this post does kinda feel like... IDK Its up to you how Xanthe takes the last of the damage but the armor and water is both electric prone :P)

Dory - November 8, 2010 01:06 AM (GMT)
((Indeed. Twas fun.))

As the electricity and pain coursed through her, Malaya's head dropped, chin brushing against her chest as she fell unconscious, and Xanthe found herself pulled toward the pair, wind catching her wings like the parashoot she had used them as before. She let it happen, jerking her like nothing more than a ragdoll toward the pair, and wrapped her arms around the girls head, careful to couch only her.

She teleported.

There was no telling what happened in the training room from that moment on, as the Regent lay her high priestess across the center of thirteen thrones, fingertips brushing her eyes closed as her lips pressed against her forehead. For once, the throne room was empty, and she could only be but so glad. Who was there to help her? Surely the lord Archivad would simply laugh, perhaps make some comment on the uselessness of whores, but as she rose, she would have been glad to have seen even him.

"Healer!" She barked, voice echoing through the halls, pivoting to glare at the door to the entrance hall, before she looked toward Malaya again, brushing the crimson hair from her scortched neck. "Someone! Find me a goddamned healer!"

She didn't know the cause of this, but what she did know was that whatever was left of the decimated Magi would eventually come to be destroyed. No one harmed her friends, as few of them as they were. No one.
