Ra'Shivi walked into town, his mind crammed with everything that had happened to interrupt his last training session. Now he was to meet Yoe in Granseal, and he thought the best place to look would be the school of training. Ra'Shivi decided to rest his eyes while he waited. He took a seat under a large oak tree, enjoying the shade. The smell of fresh fruit filled the air. It was a welcomed change from the stuffiness of the Claudes Temple, where Yoe and him had been training earlier. Ra'Shivi had to concentrate now, he couldn't let what had happened get in the way of training.

Yoe smiled from a rooftop seeing that the man had come. Now would be a good time to test reactions. Yoe casted a flame ball from one side then teleported infront of Ra'shivi and fired a ice spike. "Well lets see what you know already" Yoe winked as he stood there with his hands behind his back. He was calm and he was fully confident that Ra'Shivi could block the attacks. After that he would teach him in the ways of teleportation. Seeing as Ra'Shivi had never showed Yoe how he used it. "Teleportation is next. I will show you how to use it with a snap of your fingers" Yoe winked

Ra'Shivi heard the soft whoosh of the fireball. Yoe suddenly teleported directly in front of him and threw an iceball at him. Ra'Shivi stunned for a moment, began to concentrate all of his energy toward a beam of light. A faint barrier formed on both sides of him. The spells hit and broke upon the barrier. Ra'Shivi was proud that he had been able to block the attacks, even when done surprisingly.

Yoe said, "Teleportation is next. I will show you how to use it with a snap of your fingers."

"Very well," replied Ra'Shivi. "Tell me what I have to do and I'll put everything I have into it.

OOC: Have you talked to Kaleb about Reflect?

OOC: I haven't been able to talk to him so ya. I'll PM you when he acknoledges me

Yoe smiled. Well he knew he was off to a good start. "Well you know that light. Its for pretty much every spell besides the elementals. Just concentrate on it and look around for a spot to teleport. When you find that spot close your eyes and concentrate on it. Its that simple. When you open your eyes you will be at that destination. Seeing as I am a experienced mage I can do this-" Yoe said and then snapped his fingers. He disappeared then was on the roof. "With a snap of my fingers" Yoe said. "You try it, its quite a simple spell to learn but a hard one to master"

Roy walked into the well lit area where two men stood in what looks to be a spar. His feet were heavy on the ground as he walked over to a near wall to observe the fight from a distance. Slouching on the rough granite he allowed his eyes to gaze at each contestant in their fight. Back in Pacalon he had never been able to see skilled warriors other than the militia fight, but they could not even use magics or alchemy.

Watching carefully he noted that one appeared to be teaching on the other, it was an interesting point of view he added to himself. Being taught was never something he had to look forward considering he had taught himself from books. Eagerly he awaited to be approached by one or the other.

Yoe sensed another presence around there training area. He smiled for it was a man and he needed experience in magic arts as well. Hello young man Join in if you wish I am showing him how to teleport. If you wish to join do as you wish Yoe said telepathically. He still stared at his young apprentice and await him to perform the taks

Ra'Shivi looked at his mentor standing on the roof. He concentrated on the roof directly to the left of it. He closed his eyes and the bright light came. Suddenly it felt as if he was being squeezed. He could hardly breathe. Every breath was a graspy wheeze. He clutched at his sides. Suddenly, it all stopped. The bright light had gone. He opened his eyes and stood on the roof next to Yoe. Easy enough, thought Ra'Shivi, except for that odd sensation.

"You'll get over that feeling soon enough don't worry. Now you know how to do it. I will try something" yoe explained the jumped into the air. "Dodge this with teleport. I will then show you how to get over that sicky feeling. But you must endure it for now" Yoe yelled down as he unleashed a small wave of Ice pellots so he couldn't roll out. A little test before they would continued. He said he would teach him how to do it with a snap of a finger but that wouldn't happen in one small training session. He would have to use it numerous amount of times in battle to get used to it.

The small ice balls were coming toward Ra'Shivi. He picked the spot he wanted to teleport to, a spot in the shade of a large oak tree, and closed his eyes, concentrating on the spot and the bright light. The sick feeling came over him again, giving him difficulty breathing. He felt like his eyes were being popped out of his head, but the feeling stopped just as quickly as it had began. He opened his eyes and he was exactly where he had invisioned. The ice ball shattered harmlessly against the ground.

"Okay," he said, "that was fairly easy. What do you have next for me?"

A voice echoed threw the training facility as Roy looked around for who it was. He had seen niether fighters move their mouth's so it could not possibly be either of those two. Moving back against the wall and looking with a confused state of being Roy peered into the hallway behind him.

Nobody was there, not a single soul. Yet again the voice echoed the small training area and this time Roy realized that he was not hearing it but feeling it. It was in his mind. Struggling to comprehend the events that just past he crossed his arms and looked on with anticipation at the two, one of them had the ability to speak with his mind.

Intrigued Roy pushed himself off the hard grey wall and made his way to the arena. He decided it best to learn what he could, to understand more about the nature of magics and his own abilities. To search within himself and manipulate his own energy like molding pert clay with you hands.

Standing at the ready, obviously waiting for instruction, Roy put his hands behind his back and looked with anticipation at the taller of the two.

Yoe smiled. "To prepare you for a catastrophic event that will soon happen. You must meet my friend Farian he will teach you further. But one more thing I must teach you. One fight you surpass me then Farian will accept you to trainf for a few hours and trust me, he is one of the most powerful mages on this planet alive today. Now get ready" Yoe stated. He quickly moved to a position then disappeared then reappeared in the air. He quickly shot a line of Ice spikes. "SHOW ME WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED!!" Yoe yelled

"Very well," said Ra'Shivi. He saw the line of ice spike shoot toward him. He quickly began to focus on the blinding light his mentor had told him about. The spikes moved ever closer. A barrier appeared in front of him. His mind wandered to what his mentor had said. Another trainer, thought Ra'Shivi, I suppose he knows best. The barrier began to flicker. Ra'Shivi cleared his mind of the thoughts, in fear of not performing his best. The barrier became full fledged once again. The barrier stopped most of the ice from reaching him, but a few spikes came through to Ra'Shivi.

Ra'Shivi looked to one of the rooftops and closed his eyes. I must do this quickly, he thought. The squeezing came once again, giving him trouble breathing. He choked and gasped and then could breath freely. The sick sensation had stopped and he was on one of the rooftops. The few spikes that had made it through the barrier shattered harmlessly against the ground.

Yoe smiled then looked at the other direction. He quickly shot a moderatly large fireball towards Ra'Shivi. It grew over time until it was noting a barrier could prevent. "Ra'Shivi please attack me as well I do not wish to be the only one attacking!" Yoe yelled over the roar of the fireball he kept his stance in the air then flew down to the ground and landed on one knee. He rose his head slowly and waited for Ra'Shivi dodge and counter on Yoe.

Ra'Shivi was beginning to grow weary, but he could not let that get in the way of what he was doing. He focused on the fireball. Ra'Shivi focused all his might into transporting himself. He was almost completely drained of any energy he had left, but he still closed his eyes and thought about the bright light. The squeezing came over him again. May the gods be with me, he thought. His breathing stopped completely. The squeezing was worse than he had ever felt before.

He became dazed and all he could feel was his knees hit the ground. He opened his eyes and got up on one knee. He had to attack if he didn't want his mentor to think him a weakling. He summoned forth a single fireball, and concentrating on making it grow. It grew larger and large until it was roughly the size of himself. He through the fireball toward his mentor and everything went black.

He opened his eyes and rose to his feet. Ra'Shivi knew he hadn't been out for long and he would have to continue to the battle. He felt dizzy and confused. His breathing was constricted. Ra'Shivi knew he couldn't make it long, but he would give his trainer his all on this last fight.

Yoe smiled bringing forth a large barrier infront of him. As the fireball came it hit the barrier and both shattered into nothing. Yoe smiled. "Come on now we just started and you already need rest. Look for that adrenaline inside of you and it will push you further. I do not wish to see my pupil a failure. Farian will be much more tough on you but I am seeing that you msy not be ready for his class" Yoe stated. He quickly spung around several times and ice spikes spouted everywhere. These ones where small but could give scratches that would send pain through the body. The Ice spikes kept coming... Yoe would see how Ra'shivi would react. There is more spells to use then teleport and reflect... He would need to think

Ra'Shivi knew he was right, he had to be strong. The ice spikes were hurtling toward Ra'Shivi. He closed his eyes and concentrated on a flame. "Here we go," he whispered to himself. He formed a large circular wall of flame the he sent rotating toward the ice spikes. They met and the ice spikes melted instantly against the intense heat of the flame wall. He then sent the fire toward his mentor, in hopes of catching him of guard and somehow hitting him. In case that didn't work, Ra'Shivi sent a second wave of ice spikes after him.

Yoe smiled. He quickly hleted and dissapearing from his place to the back if Ra'Shivi. "Be always on gaurd" Yoe said slapping Ra'Shivi on the back of the head. He quickly backflipped a few ways back. During back flip he vault. He spread his arms to bring for Icc spikes in a line. "Ra'Shivi you must always be ready for anything. Do not rely on what you see infront of you but also be sure youi have your back covered liek you didn't then. I could have killed you with a quick jolt of a ice spike through your back" yoe winked then landed with his hands behind his back.

Ra'Shivi turned, startled by his mentor's appearance behind him. He knew he would have to be perfect from now on around him. He conjured up more fire and threw it at Yoe, this time careful to protect his backside by incasing himself in the very barrier his mentor had taught him just a few hours ago. He was certain he had done it right this time, now all he had to do was somehow hit him.

Then something happened that had not happened in weeks. He thought of his father. All the training had taken his mind off him but now, he didn't know the reason, he thought of him. A sharp pang of pain hit Ra'Shivi and the barrier flickered and died. The ball of fire went off in crazy path, zig-zagging back and forth in the air.

"Dammit," said Ra'Shivi. He did the exact same thing as he had before, summoning the fireball and the barrier to protect him. This time he would not let his mind wander.

Yoe watched as Ra'Shivi failed the part. "DO NOT LET YOURSELF SLIP. CONTROL!!!!" Yoe yelled to shame the man. He quickly Brung forth a large water ball and shot it towards the man. He then teleported behind Ra'Shivi he casted another water ball. "Do not fail me now!!" Yoe yelled at his pupil he wanted to teach him but one of those memories could ruin everything. "Do not fail me NOW!!!!" Yoe yelled again this time stressing the now.

Ra'Shivi was determined. He closed his eyes and the bright light filled his mind. He conjured up a barrier around him, surrounding every crevice of his skin. It took great concentration. Then he summoned forth the earth to aid him. He molded the dirt under him around his person, literally burying himself alive. The waterballs came and hit the mound of dirt, one from each side, apparently doing nothing to the earthen shell.

Ra'Shivi burst from the mound, screaming. He let a barrage of fireballs flow freely from his hands toward his mentor, and then took a large piece of earth from in front of him and hurled it toward Yoe.

OOC: I think I crosstrained right. It's 200 posts and I can choose earth right. Sorry to go OT.

Yoe's eyes widened and quickly began casting waterballs. He had knocked off many of the fire balls. But the earth chunk still remained. He brung all of his strength to his leg and kick the boulder as it came close to Yoe. It stopped immediatly then in a second it shattered into pieces. a lone fire ball hit Yoe sending him flying back. Yoe had recieved a severe burn onto his left hand from stopping it. He held it then wet some of his robe and wrapped it around his hand. It was painful but it was for the best. Yoe knew this was the way he wanted Ra'Shivi to fight.

He looked up and brung his right hand up. Silently chanting in a ancient tongue. As he finished Meteors began to fall on their positons barreling through the roof. He quickly regained himself and snapped his fingers to teleport down to the ground. "Welcome to the true test Ra'Shivi... You have me now fired up" Yoe said moving his hands to direct some of the Meteors.

Ra'Shivi looked to the skies and saw the meteors beginning to fall toward him. "Crap," Ra'Shivi whispered under his breath. He looked to Yoe who had to concentrate hard to control the large meteors. Ra'Shivi had a plan.

He rushed toward Yoe and took the earth around him. Raising the earth above Yoe, he let it drop, covering his mentor in a good deal of dirt and rocks. He hoped it had distracted his mentor enough to cause him to lose track of the meteors, making them go off their target.

Yoe had already made the Meteors drop in this exact area but was concentrating to bring them all upon Ra'shivi until a move out of desperation it seemed came over Yoe. A pile of dirt buried Yoe.... Wrong Idea. For a minute or two it seemed like he was dead but a trembling began to shake the close buildings and trees. Then a great yell happened and a bright light began to crack the earth until it exploded and Yoe stood in the middle. "A great technique but you must be sure they are not strong enough to break through. he then shot a large blast of fire towards Ra'Shivi, untop of the meteors.

The flame streaked through the air towards the pupil. "You are doing well but your flaw is your memory a good long meditation period should help you" Yoe yelled over the crashing of meteors the hell storm had begun.

Ra'Shivi stopped thinking offensively and started to become defensive. He took the earth from in front of him out of its place and jumped in the hole. He then covered the hole, leaving an opening for himself to breath. The meteors and fireballs pounded the cave he was in, causing bits of rock and dirt to fall into his little earthen room.

The loud pounding eventually ended. Ra'Shivi again took the earth out, climbed out of the hole, and placed the earth back in. He looked around, in search of his opponent.

Yoe stood their smiling, as he predicted. His newly aqquired power had brung him good fortune. "You do like using the earth now do you" yoe said in the middle of a meteor ring, untouched. "Now come on attack me I am sick and tired of always being the first to attack" Yoe winked bringing his hands behind his back smiling. "Come on now."

"As you wish," said Ra'Shivi. He summoned up three good sized balls of fire. What he was going to do would take a lot of concentration. He sent the balls toward his opponent, placing them in different spots around him. He began to make circular motions with his hands, making the balls spin around his mentor. The balls began to spin faster and faster around Yoe, encircling him in a ring of fire. He thrust his hands inward, making the fireballs crash in on his mentor.

A loud bang followed and Yoe was encased in a burst of flame and smoke. The smell of burnt grass reached Ra'Shivi's nose.

Yoe watched as he was put into extreme heats. They closed in on him. Yoe move quickly creating a water dome around him preventing the Fire to reach him. As the flames touched the dome a large sizzling sound went up into the dome. The flame's had been extinguished and only vapour remained from the water shield. He kept himself still. "all this time you are growign stonger in your spell pupil. Only a couple more hours and you will be ready for your new mentor. If you wish to search him out he will be at the Gaurdian's school and search for him there. You will not be disappointed and you will gain much more than what I could train you" Yoe explained. He quickly summoned a lightning strike in second. The white bolt of light charged in on Ra'Shivi

The crack of lightning startled Ra'Shivi, but not enough to throw him off his guard. He formed the barrier that he had worked so hard on to master. The bolt hit the barrier and hard, unfortunately, it wasn't strong enough to withold the full blast of the lightning. A shock was sent through the barrier and hit Ra'Shivi, making him shake and his hair stand on end.

The bolt stopped and Ra'Shivi stood there with singe marks on his face. He summoned forth a ball large ball of earth and covered the outside with a layer of fire and hurled it toward Yoe.

Yoe smiled and quickly began chanting the words. A small ball formed in seconds then grew... and grew. Yoe kept himself humming until the energyball was bigger than the flame covered ball. Yoe said the final word and launched it onto the creation of Ra'Shivi. The energy enclosed the ball and began to crush it. It kept getting smaller until the ball was gone from sight and the only thing that remained was a large spark for a second. Yoe brung his hands up and began humming. Several balls of light appeared and shot out encircling the pupil. He then sent them all into Ra'shivi from every angle.

Ra'Shivi formed a shell around himself with earth. The balls hit the earth and compressed the dirt that was protecting him. Ra'Shivi went up in a whisp of smoke and a loud bang. The smoke cleared and all that was left was a mound of dirt.

The dirt crumbled away and nothing was there. Ra'Shivi had teleported almost directly after the energy balls had hit about five yards from Yoe. He rushed toward his mentor and summoned fire to surround his staff. He raised it over his head and yelled running toward his mentor. He took a swipe for his mentor's jaw.

Yoe smiled bringing his sword up and casting a water lubercator around it. When the two weapons met a large amount of water vapour rose into the sky. Yoe quikcly turned around and did a side kick to knock him off his gaurd then sent a quick ice spike towards Ra'Shivi's stomach. "Such a thoughtless move pupil"

The kick connected with Ra'Shivi's chest, knocking the wind out of him and sending him flying a few yards back. The ice spikes left Yoe's hand just as Ra'Shivi hit the ground. "Damn," said Ra'Shivi quietly. He looked to a tall pillar that rose from the ground less than 100 yards away. He closed his eyes and concentrated on the spot. The sickening feeling Ra'Shivi had become so accustomed to when teleporting came again. He opened his eyes to see himself balancing on the pillar looking down on his master.

Ra'Shivi called forth the powers he had recently gained and took the earth from under the pillar. Lifting the pillar into the air along with the dirt, Ra'Shivi levitated off of it. He threw the dirt at his mentor taking the pillar with it. Even if it didn't hit his mentor, it would make one hell of a bang.

Yoe looked in amazement... They were destroying the training grounds but Yoe knew it was worth it. He quickly focused to a nearby pillar of his own and teleported quickly. With perfect balance he watched the pillar collide to where he stood before. The pillar broke into pieces and sent a shock all through the battlefield, large claps were heard all over Granseal and the pillar only layed there in ruins. "Ra'Shivi... where did you get that powerful!" He yelled he teleported beside the man. "That was simply amazing... AMAZING!!!!" Yoe yelled then teleported a few feet away and brung his sword infront of him. a bolt struck the blade.

He smiled then shot a great bolt of lightning from the blade towards his pupil. It had the power to stun and that was it but it would give Yoe enough time to attack Ra'Shivi and end this training session... The end where he knew Ra'Shivi couldn't possibly endure Farian's training.

The bolt knocked Ra'Shivi out of the air. He was sent doing flips in the air and lost his breath. He quickly regained his levitation and proceeded to land on the ground. He could see from here that his mentor looked to be done with the battle, so he walked toward him.

"Is that it? Are we done?" he asked his mentor. Ra'Shivi didn't want it to be over, because he knew it would mean a new trainer and a new person he would have to get used to.

Yoe looked down and did a great uppercut towards Ra'Shivi's stomach. "Do not think your opponent is finished just by that. You have learned Ra'Shivi why did you fall for it. And yes your training with me is finished. My master will see you later on... I can sense he is busy at the moment but Ra'Shivi would be able to see what power Farian has soon enough. "You are off the hook Ra'Shivi do as you wish I will see you later... I hope" Yoe said then disappeared away from the man he just trained.

Remember seek Farian in a few days... I will make sure he is ready Yoe's voice echoed in Ra'Shivi's head

Ra'Shivi doubled over from the uppercut. He coughed and looked around. His mentor was no where to be seen.
