MEMBER OF THE WEEK AWARD

Rules are as follows:

• Don't vote for yourself (that's silly)
• Staff are excluded for doing their jobs (though you can still vote for them if you think they deserve it for something not-job related :o )
• You must give the member's name and a reason for the vote (reasons can persuade others to vote your way, and it makes the member feel good to know why they're appreciated)
• Choose up to two people to vote for (this will help get more names in there, and give us a hopefully more consensual pool of votes to pull from)
• It's called "Member of the Week", but you can vote for anyone that's done something great (IC or OOC) in the recent past.

I won't put up a poll for it, so just post the name and reason. The name with the most votes at the end will receive 1 Green Token, just for being an all around great member on DF. In the case of a tie, both members can be awarded the prize. In the case of more than two people being voted best, the staff will make a decision on the winner, taking into account the reasons mentioned by the member base.

As far as someone else, nothing really pops out at me... I would say Dory, though, now that I think of it. I really loved her use of Abyssal troops in the Tristan topic (HERE), the only reason I am just remembering now being that it was a long time ago, or so it seems...


So yeah.... Classix and Dory~!

Kilik and Alucard. Guys helped me around and even sent me PM's about things I didn't know.. and didn't even ask about. It was as if they were there to guide me through the whole beginner deal. Kilik encouraged me with role-play, while Alucard helped me out with the board and rules etc.

Yeah, my votes. ^^

Pick # 1: Dory,
Reason:Dory for always being helpful to me and probably others, as well as even when her real life gets busy that she'll still take the time to post for us ^_^ Thanks Dory!!

Pick # 2: Luthe (lol i know it said no staff but bleh i'll still vote for these two xD)
Reason: Luthe i feel has been a great help to me because no matter how stupid the question was that i asked he answered it for me.... without the sarcasm (Shot at Ezekiel) and has been a great person to rp with driving me to try and improve my rping skills (what little they are hehe) Anyways again for the probably ninth or eleventh time thanks alot Luthe.

My two vote go to... Damaged Hero and Davina.

I feel that DH has grown alot as a member and has really found his niche. His Rping has grown and he has even managed to inspire me a little and his help with growing my own character -Syvetta- and a few other characters IC with a few of the other members just goes to show that he has a way with pulling the best out of the people he's RPed with.

Davina, though not an IC nomination, has shown a lot of maturity. That little drama and instead of full out leaving like she planned found it in her heart to stick around. Thus included whenever an arguement seems like it might arise she'll take it upon herself to let those members know it might be better to take it into the PM's.

Again I feel that both members are well deserved of member of the week -if not month- Other members that I wish I could have voted for are Classix, Lumine and Lix for thier wonderful characters and the bits of help they give outside of the forum and to Dory and Siege but thier promotion has already shown how well deserving they are ;) good luck to all of you.

My vote is Kilik and Aiko

It always a pleasure to skim the rps you guys are in. Aiko's chars have the certian flare that makes you keep reading in the wee hours of the night (but im up anyway so meh). Well Kiliks are diverse even including a gender bender.

Kilik and Calignious (dont judge)

Kilik because he is an actual friend of mine in RL and had introduced me to DF, as well as others. He helped me become a much better writer without having to chew my head off. Calignious...mostly because he's the only person that always replies to my PMs, and though we havent really talked that much he's helped me in many aspects, such as whenever my brain goes rebelious and refuses to cooperate with me

I haven't been back for long but one person who has constantly been helping me every step is Kilik. So my first vote goes out to him.

Second goes to Akio for his great insight on my character bio. Even though he only skimmed it he picked out a great point.

So... these are especially hard for me to vote for even on a normal basis, but so many people have been impressing me lately that I wasn't quite sure how to go with just two. Finally, I've ground it down to...

Dory, for working continuously with her side-plot and new faction. She's been doing this before she became staff, and she's growing supporters. Well done, Dory. Keep it up.

Alucard. Behind the scenes he's a continuous outlet for my ideas, and even prompts me to look at things that feel strange in the ability lists. He actually had a fantastic rendition of Apocalypse that I'd like to try.
