what could i say? classic zelda using xLib. if finished, it will become the most complete ti-83/ti-84 zelda ever made, and definitely be of the the greatest ti games of all time.

WOW come on, a BASIC zelda in GS? What do you expect biggrin.gif

I like how the game looks so far I hope to see this one finished. What I like especially is how you have shrinked down the sprites to 8x8 and made them still look awesome smile.gif

I also guess this will soon be another action adventure in the featured section here? rolleyes2.gif

Heh... I guess you're right... But it totally looks better than the Zelda demo for the 83+ (the mirage OS one)

wow look nice so far, do you know how to make the character face 4 directions while walking? If only I still had that Final Fantasy Chaos Revenge demo I would have the code posted right now but I think I dont have it anymore, unless I have one lurking around on my comp. I think I'll just try to redo an engine with that I guess...

well, i hv nvr had to before since this is my first time using xLib, but it should be a walk in the park.

when i finish the beta version (X months from now banghead.gif ) if i hv enough cpu and ram left, i will add epona (the horse) into the game for moving around the non-dungeon areas faster. flame on superguerrier.gif

EDIT: This game is a real challenge. i hv so many different items and reactable scenery (EX:blox, falling keys), i might hv to use advanced timers for enemies and objects and split the cpu time. first im going to touch up the story a little, so ill talk (or ask questions) about this later biggrin.gif

wow that sound great, I hope you can manage to squish as many things into the 24 KB of RAM. By blocks do you mean you can push blocks like in A link to the past?

Well, there is always archive space to pull from... smile.gif No need to limit oneself with just 24kb...

moved to featured RPG project section, even though it isnt really a RPG but more an action adventure game smile.gif

Ya, those blocks. i plan on using them for puzzles. as for memory, all map data will be stored in archived prgms using zflash (only 71 bytes). As of right now, i hv no plans for movies scenes since they take up a lot of memory and i DO NOT want this game to be in chapters where you have to finish part of the game, then you have to go back to the comp and download the second part. (I may include them after i finish if i hv enough room.) also, thnx for putting be in the news and moving me to the 'featured' section!

edit: i got a wicked kewl trading sequence idea. again, ill implement it if i gotz room
nothing out of place here smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif alien2.gif smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

nioce so far, I dont like to have to go on the computer to move to next chapter either blah.gif *glares at FFTOM1-2*. One thing tho, dont use Zflash, it doesnty work all the time, sometimes it will do nothing at all and other times it will work. Instead use flash gordon http://s7.invisionfree.com/Omnimaga/index.php?showtopic=260 . There is also codex and programming tool (I dunno why I havent put programming tool on this website yet, it a nice program blah.gif )

well last year I was searching for it and toaster_7 and ISUCK, two members of Maxcoderz has it hosted on their website so they gave me a link and I added it here. I think Omnimaga is the only website where flash gorgon is avaliable now unless you download FFTOM2, ROL3, DLQ, Reuben1/2 or Diortem and look for program THETA, Z and ZDEL smile.gif

i recommend CODEX... it has helped me many times... it locks me files! (not that it does much good, but hey, i try)
