Anyone who has played Disgaea knows how hard it is to find right now... ESPECIALLY IN STORES. It can range anywhere from 65-120 on ebay (varying on if it is used or new) and is impossible to find ANYWHERE else.
Well, I was buying a gift certificate for a friend today, and I decided to go into EBGames (it didn't even CROSS my mind to look for Disgaea, because after looking for months I had kinda given up) and I 'glanced' at the PS2 games at it was right there, in plain sight! I literally GRABBED it and ran to the register. It was $52 with my discount card, but for a game in mint condition with the instruction manual no longer available anywhere else new, and impossible to find used (which I can also RETURN, which its really hard to do that on ebay) thats a damn good deal! The game had arrived 3 hours ago, and they said there was NO WAY it would be there overnight. From now on August the 19th is officially dubbed 'good luck day' I feel like I won the lottery, in an odd sort of way. I have to thank my friend for deciding to have a birthday. |

That reminds me of one time I was playing Phantom Brave. You can create a whole bunch of dfferent characters to be in your party, and talk to themtoo. One of 'em said,"Have you played Disgaea?" or something.Another one said,"Do you make fanart or fanfiction?".It was hilarious.
