As the general rule follows, kill the underlings first. Be sure to use Overdrive on your attackers and have them Combine. If you have Linda in the party and leveled her up some, you can use her group healing techniques.

linda is like my weakest person, she is level 30 and knows 1 spell(yes i have never foguht with her)
i think i should use ari, ros, and bull but then again, i know as a matter of fact that when VEK uses below 0 it hurts bull the most, BTW whats the best way to take out the bats? -------------------- FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST FAN IN DISGUISE:a fan forum

Overdrive two attackers and have them combine. Since you can only target groups, it's the only way to quickly kill individuals. Trust me, leveling up Linda will be worth your while.
