Who else here loves Ari's family? I think they're one of the best parts of the game, actually. I suppose part of the reason I loved 'em is because i'm very close to my grandparents/family and I liked their haunted mansion thing. It's unique for an RPG character to actually have a family, because most don't.

Oh, and one of the most memorable scenes for me was when grandma actually remembers Ari after he becomes invisible... if only I could remember what was said?

One of the things that I found most refreshing was that it was Ari's mother who was the adventurer and dodged yet another cliche by having her pretty content with her domestic life. Both parents, a sibling who isn't an evil adversary, even grandparents, as RPGs go this is an oddity. However, I think this made Ari more approachable. I really do wish there was more to learn in the game about that family, but I recall gramps mentioning that they used to be in the circus. I once hypothesized that they knew Block.

Well, in the beginning when she gives you the pebble the Bakery lady does say that Ari's Grandmother is pretty perceptive--or something along those lines. <3 his family is too cute. stansmile2.gif
