I looove VGM remixes. Remixes of this game seem to be very difficult to find, though. I've found two, both of which are actually very good.

Dance with Merle is probably one of my favorite songs despite it's perplexing title. It's title is so perplexing of course because it begs the question of whether the real world Marlene's name is "Merle" or that is just a strange translation. It's times like these that I wish the ending had more dialogue!
The second remix is nice but equally bamboozling for a different reason; why does such a high profile youtuber know about Okage? It's a nice surprise regardless. -------------------- The cleanest conscious is most certainly a dead one.

Oh oops sorry, I didn't notice anyone replied to this, haha. I think it was a strange translation, I've never heard of Marlene's being referred to as Merle except for the title of that song. A couple of the official images in my photobucket of Marlene were just titled "mar" or "mar0" when I saved them to my harddrive.
I don't know, but when you download the song it's not even mentioned that it's a remix of Addashi Desert, or mentioned as being a remix from Okage at all. I think they thought they could pass it off as an original creation and no one would realize it was a remix, haha. Pretty lame of them. |
