Title: Roleplaying Forum
Description: Just to, in case, clear up clutter...

Now I don't mean to sound like I know anything (I don't. I swear.) but... It might be useful in the RP section of the site to add an OOC-post area.

I tend to, before starting the RP, set up an OOC board for it. There I explain the base storyline, then allow people to sign up. Each party wanting to sign up fills out a short profile of their character and posts it there. This is VERY helpful for me because then I have a refrence to characters' histories, appearances, likes and dislikes and so on and so forth.
As a second function, questions about the RP can be asked there and not interfere with the real RP. It helps RP sections keep from becoming cluttered, see?

Just a suggestion. This is how it's set up at my forums (though the RPs themselves are divided up further into categories.) and it keeps confusion down. ^.^;

I'd have to agree with Peridox... I've been wanting to join an rp but I wasn't really sure which (if any) included Okage characters and who played (or wanted to play) who etc...

Okay, I can work with that.

Not to offend, but I disagree. Looking at my RP on the first post you will find the story at the very beggining, an explination of how you should post your character, and the basic rules of the RP. Its very simple and keeps other peoples RPs from mixing up and cluttering the RP forum. Plus it adds flavor to your RP and shows you put time into your posts, setting an example for your RPers.

(BTW, You can find mine and Evil's ava in the avas supplied by the forums. My Controls>Edit Avatar Settings>Under Pre-Installed Avatars you can choose from Base Gallery, Sci-Fi, LOTR, or Smilys, there you click Go and it will take you to a page with many avas you can choose from in that catagory.)

Oh, thanks for the info.

I see no reasont for a OOC section, since you can easily make rules to post in special ways for such curcumstances (like double parentesis, for example.. written with OOC:: )

it doesn't matter how you do it, but you don't need another section or subforum for OOC discussions. If you insist on making some sort of planning/RP discussion thread, go ahead though. Only 1 however, please. I'll pin it for you guys if you decide you need one.
