Stumbled onto this movie and while the title doesn't really match the movie, it's certainly worth a look. The premise is that a Lolita gal makes friends with a biker chick, and they do make a decent comedy duo, but the crazy narrative perspective is what makes the movie fun. It's got deadpan and lowbrow mixed together in a way that's pretty good, as well as outright cartoonishness in presentation.

I think I've heard of this exact plot in a manga.....just can't remember the name.

Yeah, I'm not sure why the style is called Lolita, it makes me think of an old British guy and Peter Sellers playing 5 characters at the same time, not those big frilly dresses.

The original plot was in a light novel, but was adapted into both film and manga.

I read the manga once: the reltationship makes it seem more yuri in the manga. :stantounge:
Though it was ok if you can get past that subtext, its not really obvious anyways. think the manga had the same name.

I thought there may have been a little yuri underlying the movie, but I considered it may have just been wishful thinking. Funny, that was the one subtle thing in the whole movie :stantounge:
