Title: I return... sorta
Description: I doubt anyone knew I left
Xor - January 13, 2009 11:43 PM (GMT)
Three days after christmas my computer broke. Its been a real pain... my dad finally got it running enough so I can get on for a few minute before it breaks. But the new one should be set up by friday.
Rosalyne - January 14, 2009 03:12 AM (GMT)
Glad to see you back. Hope you get your computer problems worked out!
Boogie Knight - January 14, 2009 05:05 AM (GMT)
If it's not one thing it's another. Best of luck with the situation, and nice to see you back.
Xor - January 14, 2009 12:08 PM (GMT)
Thank you very much. :stantounge: Just hope you don't jinx it...
Ruka - January 15, 2009 12:36 AM (GMT)
I was wondering what the hell happened. I'm also glad you're back. Meanwhile, I too, suffer computer problems.
Boogie Knight - January 15, 2009 03:43 AM (GMT)
Lucky for me, I've only had brake problems (oh don't worry, it only took the shop about a day to fix em).
YamiLover13 - January 15, 2009 07:26 PM (GMT)
I was worried we scared you away somehow. Glad to see you back.
Kaydryn Tenelmacher - January 15, 2009 09:31 PM (GMT)
If they've been here that long, they aren't likely to be easily scared off.
DracoShadow - January 15, 2009 09:56 PM (GMT)
Yay you're back!! :stantounge:
Xor - January 16, 2009 01:44 AM (GMT)
Now I'm really really back. New computer. And best of all... Its a vista. :standude:
Rosalyne - January 16, 2009 02:16 AM (GMT)
Best of all? More like worst of all. Sorry, but I really dislike vista. It crashed my laptop hourly, until I reformatted it with XP.
Boogie Knight - January 16, 2009 02:40 AM (GMT)
If it's a newer computer it should be alright. Each new OS takes up so much space that upgrading is essential, that's how the scam works :stantounge:
Kaydryn Tenelmacher - January 16, 2009 04:04 AM (GMT)
KAREN is a Vista XP, and she came that way....so far, only problems are the ones I can handle. And for me, that is a hugeee relief.
YamiLover13 - January 16, 2009 04:33 AM (GMT)
Oh you got a new computer too? Same here. Mine got XP though. I was going to get Vista but the guy building my computer REALLY wanted to put XP on it instead. I guess it should be fine till September.
My other computer friend wouldn't stop yelling and cursing at me about not getting Vista. EVIDENTLY XP is total shit because it is so unsafe and full of holes and no security. Yeah I am so sure Vista is much better and won't get infected. : /
Kaydryn Tenelmacher - January 16, 2009 04:39 AM (GMT)
I have Vista XP.......Odd as that is. I suppose it cancels it out and makes it the best computer ever? KAREN's been my comp since the fiasco with the four foot tall.....thing I can't even call a computer. Two Thanksgivings ago, and she's only half full. :stanlove:
YamiLover13 - January 16, 2009 04:57 AM (GMT)
Kaydryn Tenelmacher - January 16, 2009 05:06 AM (GMT)
Hey, don't ask me. The bad cancels itself out. Somehow. Everything I own is a freak of nature. I love it.

Get out, no really get out your standing over me and it's making me nervous. I kid
I mean I have a windows vista XP too. Wheee twins! :stanlove:
Kaydryn Tenelmacher - January 16, 2009 08:20 AM (GMT)
Twinsss~!! I'm finding pieces of me left all over the place.
Boogie Knight - January 16, 2009 08:09 PM (GMT)
Is it some kind of hybrid which has features of Vista, but is workable like XP?
Kaydryn Tenelmacher - January 16, 2009 08:13 PM (GMT)
Exactly. Suz and I are the amazing people who have it. It's actually the best out of five computers and brands and all odd things and freaky darlings that I've had.

Heh, don't be so sure about that. When I used to have Vista, I had more viruses than I ever got in my life. The security was faulty, it even blocked its own programs, which make no since!
I would rather just stick with my XP and Linux (and custom systems, if that counts?)
Ruka - January 16, 2009 09:57 PM (GMT)
I have XP right now, and it really doesn't work well for my parent's computer. As soon as my mom put yahoo messenger on it, the computer was slow.
Soo, it sucks for me.
Rosalyne - January 16, 2009 10:23 PM (GMT)
Its not always the software though. Most of the time its the way the computer is built.
Nerdy terms I use frequently-
Specs
Kaydryn Tenelmacher - January 17, 2009 03:47 AM (GMT)
It's my fastest. Of course, I know how to tune it. It's got tons of crap and still works admirably fast.
Xor - January 17, 2009 04:37 AM (GMT)
Vista is very good for me, very good indeed. And I had a XP computer when it got infected with all the viruses. :stanconfused:
Kaydryn Tenelmacher - January 17, 2009 04:43 AM (GMT)
So Vista plus XP cancels the bad out. XD
Rosalyne - January 17, 2009 04:45 AM (GMT)
Well, I can kinda see that. Vista does have some more advanced features. Combined they would be good. I'm installing Windows 7 on my newest computer now (yes, I have 3, I know "Wow, she's such a nerd", thats what your all thinking...)
Xor - January 17, 2009 04:47 AM (GMT)
Whenever I see XP I get confused cause it reminds me of sticking your tongue out smilie. It confuses me immensely. D X
PS: No, I'm a lot more nerdy then you Rosalyne, Just not with computers.
Rosalyne - January 17, 2009 04:49 AM (GMT)
Talking about all this computer stuff, I think I'll get this mouse because it sounds hilariously awesome-

Kaydryn Tenelmacher - January 17, 2009 04:50 AM (GMT)
I used to have three. I sometimes think I need more than one.
That mouse....is going to have an identity crisis.
Rosalyne - January 17, 2009 05:11 AM (GMT)
If you don't mind an overload of cussing, look at this-
http://www.desuchan.net/tech/src/1231814636791.jpgIt basically describes it in meaner terms. (and it has the word Rat King, which reminds me of the evil king, heh.)
Kaydryn Tenelmacher - January 17, 2009 05:20 AM (GMT)
Ah, perfection! I'll stick with my mouse, however.
Rosalyne - January 17, 2009 05:22 AM (GMT)
I probably won't do much with this mouse though, because I don't usually use 8 monitors or more. Still getting it though, because it looks so funny.
Spookty - January 17, 2009 07:02 AM (GMT)
I've been thinking of trying the Windows 7 beta... eeeh, if it deletes anything somebody is gonna die.
.. I wonder what the crap all those frigging buttons and stuff are for. Gah.
Also, it's the Rat king! Hehehehe.
Rosalyne - January 17, 2009 07:04 AM (GMT)
If your talking about the mouse, I would say just extra buttons for gaming or something... :stansuprised:
Spookty - January 17, 2009 07:05 AM (GMT)
I know, but I don't think I could be bothered actually using all of them.
Rosalyne - January 17, 2009 07:13 AM (GMT)
Me neither. I would rather stick with a simple keyboard or controller with 12 buttons, instead of a small crazy, trigged-out mouse. I would most likely control MY 8 MONITERS as it specifies in the ad. :stantounge:
Kaydryn Tenelmacher - January 17, 2009 08:47 AM (GMT)
Whoever needs all that......I have a dream of having all that. Like Lain Iwakura. Fading out in a completely different way.
The Rat King..............The Nutcracker. @_@
Boogie Knight - January 17, 2009 11:49 PM (GMT)
As much as I hate the built in touch, whatevers, that laptops use for a mouse, that thing is just too weird for me to consider.
