Do you think smoking shoudl be banned in public?

I do. Its really annoying when you are trying to enjoy yourself when suddenly someone lights up a ciggy and blows the smoke around your breathing space.

It also doesn't help that I'm asmahtic (spelling?)

What do youa ll think?

Well it depends on what you mean as public. Anywhere that is indoors I say it should be, well majority of everywhere that I live is already like that. If it is outdoors then I am perfectly fine with it.

Our Goverment says Pubs, Shops, basically indoor places. The Republic is already like that, has buckets outside to put out your cigarette.

Everyone says that. My dad, mum, granda, gran... who all have given it up, stopped smoking around 7 years ago. Its really disgusting and expensive, I don't see why you'd even want to start smoking.

Why not ban it all out? It would be against human rights but you could ban tobacho! and i cant spell either! biggrin.gif

Just lower the amount of tar etc in the cigeretes if nothing else is possible.

Because people are addicted, which may cause suicides.

And cocaine is illegal. But you can still get that.

Also... "Tobacco is the only legal substance/item that even when it is used correctly can harm the user."

No. Nicotine is just as bad as the rest of it it speeds up your blood rate and can cause heart attacks thats why people get addicted because of the buzz and yip i thimk it should be banned and more places to help people should be built instead of wasting th lotteries funding on the olympics!!!

smoking should be banned altogether............. and cocaine and heroin addicts should be given free cocaine and heroin becuase its only a junkie whos desperate for a fix thats going to main/kill/rob to pay for his next fix
