Jessica tossed Spike down as she headed into the kitchen. She didn't figure people wanted a furry animal in the kitchens. She walked in, going to a cabinet and pulling out a rootbeer. She grinned, looking for Blockade. "These are the kitchens dining room is through there."

She didn't eat in the dining room much. There was really no point. As far as she knew, most didn't. The bar was a good place to eat. Jessica plopped down onto a barstool, wondering if Blockade would go ahead with the burger making, or choose something else to make. She hated cooking, so anyway she looked at it this was great.

[Cadger Bytheway]

Cadger walked in and looked in the freezer and reach for ground beef. He then opened the frig and pulled out lettus and tomatos. He took those and put those on the counter. The puting the ground beef in the microwave and setting it to defrost. "Where is the frying pan, and the silverwear?" He knew where to find the food it is just trying to find the items he needed to make it.

She walked over, opening a couple cuboards. "Pots and pans, Silverwear, And spatulas are kept in that drawer next to the stove." Spike came walking in, jumping up onto a barstool.

"You know he seems like a nice guy."

Jessica turned to Spike, grinning. This of coarse was what she heard from his mouth. Although most would only hear a bit of purring and meowing. Jessica cleared her throat, and began speaking to Spike in his own language. she didn't even realise she was doing so.

"Your not supposed to be in the kitchen."

"Don't give a bloody damn."

"Go out. Go hunt some mice."

"No."

She growled at him. Spike merely glared, his white tail twitching. The feline stayed exactly where he was, not intending to move. After a minute Jessica sat down in another barstool, giving up.

[Cadger Bytheway]

Cadger watch herd only meows and then a hiss com out of Jessicas mouth as she spoke to her cat, "So thats how your power work eh?" as beep went off for the beef Cadger went over opened and closed the microwave to start it back up. Pulling out the pan and a plate, "How do you like your burger?" Cadger was just trying to make conversation, he never like silence when it came to being around other people.

Jessica turned, hissing and meowing at Blockade. Spike said to her, "Your speaking in cat to him. He doesn't understand." Jessica turned to Spike, then back to Blockade. She cleared her throat, gathering her thoughts. "I like mine well done. Sorry... but sometimes I forget to switch languages."

She cleared her throat again. It was very scratchy today. Perhaps she was getting a sore throat. Spike watched from his barstool, beginning to groom himself. "It is sometimes a pain. I have to watch carefully otherwise I will go and start speaking and my teachers will think I am doing it on purpose. I've gotten detention more then once doing that."

[Intellectual troll]

Then the door slammed open as a huge monstrosity entered. A huge monstrosity made of rock with an upper-body that was ridiculously oversized, with gigantic arms thicker than a human male's waist, reaching down to the floor. It was Otto, Aka Golem/Montain (he had not yet decided) the newest student of the X-mansion.

Otto tried to squeeze through the door, but accidentally chipped the doorframe. It didnt bother him too much. He was insured against these things. Anyways Otto looked down at the little mutants from the impressive height of nearly eight feet while he silently thanked the heavens for the high-roof in this place.

However, this was not quite what he was looking for. This was definately not the dorm-rooms.

"How ya doin', fella's?" He asked in a very deep basso-type of voice. "Ya know wich way to the dorm's?" he continued

The microwave beeped again And then this time around Cadger took the beef out and set the stove to the tempature that was nessesary to cooking the beef. Cadger did not answer Otto's question, because he did not know what the Answer to it. Cade then gathered the energy around him to form a square in the form of a spatula used it to cut the beef in half, "Would your cat like some or is he into something different?" He almost forgot about spike, he wants to consider animals especailly when involves people who can talk to them.

She looked up at the face of the walking rock. She smiled and said, "Go down the hall, until you reach a t junction. Take the left one. It will lead you past the library and a mess of classrooms. Eventually you will reach the boys dorms."

Spike twitched his white tail a bit. Jessica said to Blockade, "He has eaten recently. I have to watch his diet. He doesn't get people food. I don't need him to become as big as a house." Spike looked very cross indeed with her answer.

"I don't need your molly coddling."

Jessica did not answer him, knowing it would just look silly.

[Cadger Bytheway]

"Well I was just thinking that if we are going to eat spike should eat as well." Cadger was worried that he was going to upset Jessica by say this, because she does talk to animals and she would now about how an animal feels when she talks to them.

Jessica laughed and said, "Nope. Beleive me, that cat does not need a burger."

Spike growled, his ears laid back. His meaning plain. Jessica sighed and said, "Alright fine. But you aren't having a burger." She went to a cabinet, pulling out a can of tuna. Spike jumped down from the chair, twisting around her legs and meowing happily.

"Get off you beast." She pushed the cat away with her foot. Spike jumped back up onto the barstool, meowing. Jessica set the can on the counter, opening a drawer with various utensils. She began rummaging through it for the can opener.

(OOC: Sorry for going AWOL. I went on vacation for a week and didn't get a chance to let everyone know.)

((That ok... but has been boring without you here))

Cadger neerly brok out laughing, "I guess Spike disagrees with you." As he was setting the 1st round to cooking hamburgers, Cadger; although he did not realize it, began checking Jessica out, while she was searching for for something in a drawer. Minutes later he realized what he was doing, and returned to the burgers before she could see what he was just doing.

He's hoping Spike did not notice what Cade was doing and tell Jessica. Yah that would go great Cade thought. Cadger likes girls alot and likes to flurt with them, but he also wanted to have respect for them, and however much he tries not to care what people think of him, he cares greatly about how a girl thinks of him.

Jessica smirked and said, "Yes well. I have to watch his diet." She puts the tuna onto a small plate. Spike meows happily, making happy circles on the barstool. Jessica sets the plate of tuna on the bar. Spike jumps up but after a glare from Jessica, he sat on the barstool. He had his front paws on the counter, bending over to eat.

Jessica smirked and said, "Spike is a highly intelligent feline. And due to his exposure to my powers, he has learned alot of the human language. He sometimes brings me the latest gossip from the girls. It lets me know who is dating who."

She smiled to Blockade, sitting down on her own barstool. The cooking burgers smelled good. She cleared her throat. It was still bothering her. It had been for a few weeks.

[Cadger Bytheway]

Cade returned the smile, "Spike must be a useful little furball." He used his generated spatula to scoop up the burgers and placed them on the plate. As Cade was hearing another clearing of a throat, so he head over and grabbed a glass and filled it with ice and water. Then headed over to Jessica, "Here drink this, and suggest that you don't drink or eat any dairy products or soda; it's kinda bad for your throat."

Jessica laughed and said, "Not really. He is mostly just annoying. You have no idea how scarcastic british cats are." Spiked looked up at her. Hey standing right 'ere! Jessica glared at him and said, "Just eat your tuna." She looked to the burger, grinning. She began pullnig out lettuce and ketchup and all the other things needed to make a fat burger. They did not have burger buns so she grabbed out a loaf of regular bread.

"Beleive me, there is a reason humans can't hear animals talk. This cat rarely ever shuts up. And you don't want to know what the rats say to me." She grinned happily. She was glad to have somebody to chat with who wasn't furry in some way.

"The rats probably have perverted little minds," Cade laughed. After putting the burgers into buns he handed a plate to Jessica,"I don't know what topings you like so I'll leave that up to you; plus I'm not very good at taking directions."
