To try start up the discussions, who's the coolest x-men mutant?

Personally, I think it would be either Gambit, Nightcrawler, or Beast.

I know Wolverines pretty much the star of x-men, but I think he's a bit overdone.

Gambits cool because he's Gambit, he has charm, skills, and cool powers.

Nightcrawler's cool because he's got the whole swashbuckler personality, and teleporting means he can go anywhere, at least anywhere he can se.

Beast is cool because he's got it all, brains and brawn.

What are your thoughts?

Personally I'm a big Wolverine fan but he's always been my favourite before I even liked X-men, he got me into it and Gambit's right up behind him. After them I'm more Partial to the bad guys or other mutants outside the 'X-men'

Mystique's n the top of my list she has a good side to her when you see how much she cares for her children (Rogue and Nightcrawler) but she's also so evil that she takes you aback sometimes, she's also hoked up with like everyne in the marvel universe it's kinda funny. Anyways in the X-men world she's definitely one of my all time favourites.

Mystique's has a funny way of showing love to her children, I mean she's shot Rougue at least twice now.

Mimic is kinda cool, exiles version at least, too bad he was killed though.

Wolverines cool, but I didn't like how he was the center focus in all the x-men movies. The movies were still cool, but it all revolved around Wolverine while the other x-men basically became supporting characters. The movies could have easily been titled "Wolverine and the x-men".
