"Where are you humans taking me? Where is my father?" I screamed to the strangers driving the cart. They ignored me. The village was full of people and dragons. Most of them with heavy chains around their necks, sadly being pulled away by humans. There were men shouting and holding up their money, bidding for the once elegant golden dragon that now had dirty brown scales. I panicked, wondering wether I was being taken away to be auctioned off. I pulled myself up and prepared to jump off, but the men saw and predicted my action, and yanked the chain agressively. I chocked, and glared at them. I looked at the metal chains that held me to the cart, and had an idea. when the humans turned to the path, I quickly bared my fangs and started to gnaw on the chain. But this idea was useless, the chains immediately chipped off the end of my fangs. I snorted and lay down on the cold wooden carty. There was nothing I could do but stay put. Trying to escape could be the last thing I do. These humans held spears out of the same thing as the chains. They could kill me in one stab.

The cart slowed as I saw a large platformed area. I was dragged out and pulled onto the stage, there were humans standing in front. The human holding my chain bellowed, "yes, gentlemen we have one fresh young silver dragon here." Fresh? I thought. Fresh? What do you mean, fresh?! More thoughts came to me as I saw the humans in front holding up their money, just like they did for the golden scaled dragon. I couldn't take it anymore, I would never be a slave to humans! I thrust myself at the man holding the chain, it startled him greatly, he had let go of my chain, this is it, my only chance! I spread my wings and took flight. But the man had already gotten back up to his feet and grabbed the chain again. I had failed to escape.
"Tough one, are ya?" The man sneered. I urged to bit off his head, but that woud cause more comotion. I already had enough problems, anyway. "So," the man continued, "who wants a fresh, young and fiesty dragon?" those words disturbed me. But, the humans gave deep bellows of laughter. How I hated that sound.
After a few mintues a man in a black cloak moved swiftly to the front of the crowd. He held up a bundle of money. The man holding my chain had eyes as big as a plum. He happily accepted this mysterious man's money and threw my chain to him. I was pulled along. I was now a humans slave. There was nothing I could do except hope for the best. As I walked with my new master through the small villagage, I only hoped that my family was alright.

[Astrophe]

I sat in a cage, a very small cage, I was cramped and squashed, and most definitly not in a good mood! It helped even less that I knew I was about to be sold...As a slave! Then the Human who had been selling the dragons shouted out "Now, for a special sale, we have..." At this point I was being dragged up to the stage, and then pushed on aas he said "A very lovely elf" I glared at him, and spat out "Watch yourself human, I have a fiery temper" I didnt add literally, I hoped hed give up, Instead, the idiot laughed, "A lovely elf, with a temper" He said again, then leering he added "Wouldnt she make a lovely ornament...say for your bedroom?" I heard sniggers in the crowd and my cheeks blushed a flaming red. "May your children be uglier than you" I muttered to the man, He laughed and said loudly "We'll start the bids on..."
"50 Gold Delans" Called out a voice, interupting him, The man I was standing next to turned a purple, as I watched, I guessed it was a lot of money, (I guessed right!!) Then another voice called out "75". The first man glared at the second, The first man was older, with a balding head, and big vieny cheeks, the second was wearing a big cloak, hiding himself easily. I watched with interest as the bids got higher and higher. The man next to me was gasping for air as the two men had reached 200 gold Delans. Then the second man, yelled out "500 Gold Delans!" The old man went blue in the face, but didnt say anything, and the cloaked man came up to collect his prize...Me! He handed over 2 bags, that chinked with money. The man who had sold me reached in greedily and pulled out a coin, his eyes shining with wonder, "Take her, but you cant change your mind" he rasped. I was grabbed and roughly pulled through the crowd, nearly falling over because I was still in chains. When we finally got to the outskirts of the town I asked "You did get the keys didnt you?" He turned and looked at me, his hood still covering his face, then he rached over and broke the chains that I had on my arms with his bare hands! I gasped, and he laughed quietly. Then he did the same to the ones around my feet. I smiled then, and I heard him softly laugh. Then he took my wrist and started leading me through the forest. Finally (he never seemed to tire) we reached a small cottage, and he called out "I'm back, with...What is your name?" I looked down, I didnt know whether I could trust him with my name, Oh well "Astrophe" I whispered..."Ok" he then yelled out "With Astrpohe, Shes what I bought today" Then a small woman with fly away red hair came running out "Not another one dear" She said wearily, He took off his hood, (Which showed that he was older with black hair, slightly greying, a strong nose and bluey-green eyes) and replyed "I couldnt just leave her there, some old man was going to buy her to add to his collection" A significant look passed between them, and she shrugged. "Oh well, she can work to live here" The man nodded, "I thought for father...?" The woman nodded and they lead me inside.

I was thrown into a large cage, the chains were now nearly choking me to death. The man sneered and walked off, locking the door and hanging the key on a hook on the wall in from of me. I figured it was just to mock me. I tried to break the cage bars by slamming into them, but I was already too weak from being dragged along everywhere. I heard famillar voices, but ignored them. I had to find a way to get out first. I tried many methods, gnawing, scratching, but none had succeeded to set me free.

More whispering was heard, I tried to block out the sounds. But then I realised that the voices were very famillar... perhaps too familliar....
Without thinking I said quietly, "Elena?" after several seconds of saying this, I shook my head and thought I was crazy to think that Elena would be here.

[Astrophe]

I peered around the room, it was darkish, and cold. Then a I heard an old and croaky voice "Well, what have you got this time?"
"An elf...Astrophe" I glared at the direction the voice had come from, and an old man shuffled out. I stared, I didnt mean to, but I hadnt realised humans could get that old!!! His skin was veiny, and papery thin, and scabby, one eye was white, and filmy, I guessed he was blind in that eye, the other had a squint, and was dark brown, he had a few whisps of white hair on his head, he had a hunched back, and he walked with a limp, needless to say, I was disgusted!
"An elf aye?" He croaked, "Come over here elf, so I can look at you" I shuddered, "No way!" I said, he laughed...or rather wheezed, "Temper, Ok, she'll do, for chores and stuff at least" Then I was sent outside...Where I banged into a boy...Or young man...He was about 18, "Sorry" he said, grinning at me, I didnt grin back, "Ok, ummm..." he trailed off. "Son, she's to help you with...stuff" Called out the man who'd payed for me, The boy looked me over, and nodded, "At least you dont look weak, not like some of the slaves" I glared at him, I'd show him... slave! How dare he!

*5 days later*

I was sick of being bossed around by the stupid brat of a boy, whos name turned out to be Simon. He was lazy, rude, disgusting, and would not stop harrassing me! "Oi! Go get some water from the well" He yelled at me, I slowly stood up and glaring at him, walked over, "The welss over there stupid" he said, I tilted my head to one side and the well flew over and landed beside him. "What the heck do you think youre doing?!? I said get the water from the well, not bring the well here!" I smiled, "You want some water? Have some!!" and I called all the water out of the well and dumped it on his head! He protested loudly, and then someone grabbed my arm, painfully, and I was dragged into the trees!!!!!!

[Dark Dragon X]

As I lay here sun bathing i think to my self "hmmmm.... this is odd i haven't seen anyone or sensed anyone for a while? this is odd" I take a deep breathe in and then exhale slowly and yawn. "I think i'll go out for a bit to stretch my wings see if anythings changed, rumble rumble growl! hahaha i think i'll go get something to eat..." Flying over the trees i begin to see more huts and semi small camps in spread out areas for the forest. " I wonder whats going on hmmm... but it has nothing to do with me so oh well...." "Wheres all the other dragons.... ok now something is up this isn't normal, well then again i don't kno much about anything around here." Suddenly i spot a small town with alot of people gatherd around and all their horses standing outside with carridges hooked to them. " what the hell? hmmm wonder whats going on here? i think i'll check it out."

I land as quiet as possible which didn't make much difference there is so much commtion going on inside it probably hard to hear in there anyway. I lean clos to the side of the building trying to keep me from being noticed to a minimun, breathing softly and slowly i listen as best as i can to whats going on. Theres people in there screaming numbers and a guy yelling out higher ones...then it dawns on me" OH i kno what this is i've been told about these thing there auctions they sell things and people shout out how much they'll buy for and then who ever bids the highest wins. But wait what are they auctioning...?" then i hear that the first is over and they are going to start a new one.....The next thing i hear is a man saying "ok ladies and gents this next one is a fine strapping young brute of a dragon. With nice fangs big mucles and wings span for his age and bright red scales,with black stripes! C'mon people this ones a keeper! Pull out ur savings if u have to this one's gonna go fast!!!"

I'm shocked suddenly i get a rush of fury and a powerful rage overcomes me and I ram my horns into the side of the building taking it down and as i do this people are screaming and running out and the auctioneer drops the chains binding the young dragon and i run towards him. Crushing chairs and knocking people down in my fury i get to the dragon and break his chains he looks at me and bows his head as a gesture of appreciation i say"go now and run far far away" Then he says" No i can't...theyt've got my family too..."he lowers his head in same and dispare. Then I hear men yelling and the clinking of their armor, i push the young dragon out of the way from getting speared by one of the men. He hits me and his spear braks into peices as he trys to shove it into my hide, he pulls out his sword and 4 others come at me then turn to the young dragon i swat them with my tail sending 3 of them across the room while the other 2 that are left retreat.

I turn to the young one and say with sarcasm "Looks like thats the last of those men." He looks at me and i see the tears in his eyes and he lowers his head trying to hide his crying and says" Thank u so much i owe u alot.... its just i don't kno what i would have done or what would have happend to me if u hadn't came,i miss my family so much..." I move closer to hime and wrap my wing around him trying to comfort him and tell him" Its ok u don't owe me anything do u have anywhere else to stay or go?" "No i don't, i don't even kno where i am..." says the young dragon "well i guess u could come with me....but that would mean u must listen to my directions and u will be trainning with me then we'll go rescue ur family after we find them" i say to him. HE looks up his eyes half full of tears, and says" Thank you so much i will train with u and become stronger like u and i'll rescue my family!"
