Not-so-dramatic And Self-sacrificing Attack, Why? BECAUSE LESS TALK AND ACTION PEOPLE

[Elena]

"But why?"
"I've heard your whining enough!"
"ELENA!!! Please?"
"Finra... Don't you get it? We need to do this so no more self-sacrificing sieges and idiotic plans will begin. Let's just get it over and done with.."
"But the LAST time we came here there was that weirdo dragon demon human thingy."
"So?"
Finra said no more words and we carried on out trudge down the mountain. Out torches, oiled but not lit were wavering in our hands as we went over our plans in our heads.
FINRA'S PLAN:
'light kill and bite tails'
MY PLAN:
'light, kill and attack'
There was such a simplicity in this attack that we had no back up plan and was nearly a suicide mission but I had only managed to get Finra to comply with it because I had... well bribed her with my old spear. At the moment she held it in her jaws and looked at the shiny bits, only just remembering the plan.

Even the stones under our feet seemed to shout.
"AWAY WITH SELF-SACRIFICING!!! YAY SPONTANEOUS!!!"
Now was the time to get rid of all that stupid war ness that was going around.

I threw the torch over the wall of the city and crashed in to light it inside.

BEGIN WAR NOW.

[finra]

"ummm...Elena?" I asked as we stormed the city," I don't like to nag, but why are we attacking one of the cities?"

Elena paused.

"Err..spontaneous-ness I guess."
"Oh...what does spontaneous mean?"

"Oh dear..." muttered Elena ,but just then the gates opened and a small army of humans wearing lots of metal ( don't know why..) appeared.

I counted twice, very carefully.

"umm, Elena? I said "Do you realise there are 8 of them?"
"No ther isn't ther's only 7..."
"No there is 8, look, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, ."
"You forgot the 4 finra."
"Huh?"

The men started, no, advanced forward in a very advanc-like manner

"Remeber the plan", Elena whispered," kill, light and attack."
"what?"
"just charge!!" she yelled and ran forward.
I ran after her as I had nothing better to do.

We ran right through the men, well I did, humans don't stand up right if you barrell into their knees, being small has it's advantages.

After breaking through, we grabbed the gate and shut it. Effectively locking them out, or us in...I realised as i looked behind us.

"oh dear..." I muttered

[Elena]

"We can pass through this ordeal!"
I muttered loudly (If that is possible) and enthusiastically.
Pulling her along, I realised that my torch had landed on a watermelon stall.... I didn't see if this way was to be effective...
Changing my mind I grabbed the torch and still pulling Finra made my way to what looked like a prison... it might have also been something else I will not mention.

Entering I listened carefully.

"What are you listening for?" Finra said automatically.
"Guards.." I replied.

Picking off some watermelon of the torch to pop it into my mouth, I sneaked along the cells until I arrived to a distinctly blue and empty one.

"Now what?" Finra asked.
"We wait."
"I thought this was meant to be exciting!"
I didn't reply and fell silent again, listening for footsteps and eating watermelon.

[finra]

Don't ask me why Elena wanted for us to wait inside of a prison, but my policy is when one is trouble, follow the blonde elf. Usually things can't get much worse.

Unfortunatly they did.

"In there!" I heard faint voices yelling. The sound of footsteps became louder and closer.

Elena swore and dragged us into a neraby cell.

"Now what?" I asked.
"Dunno, they weren't supposed to follow us." She replied.
"Wait for something spontaneous to occur?"
"Yeah, why not."

There was a long silence.

Someone in a nearby cell coughed.

"Uh excuse me, sorry to interrupt, but why are you trying to get in to jail, I thought the idea was to get out??"

We looked around to observe this interrupter.

[Elena]

A young man, or at least I thought it was a man, gave a little way.
"Well?!"
"Shut up!" I whispered loudly. Finra seemingly smirked in the background.
Elbowing her harshly I glared at the man.
"It's none of your business." He seemed to smirk at me.
"Well then, out of curiosity then." I twitched.
"No human, keep out of our way or-"
"Or what? You'll shout for the guards? More like what I could do."
I despised him already.
"Fine, I'll let you out if you would please stay quiet."
He nodded, agreeing with me for the first time in the conversation.
"Finra get him out, I'll try and figure out a way out of this..."
Finra grinned.
"Whoopee! I got the easy job!"
I glared at her.

[finra]

"Right..."
I looked at the human in question.

Well, he looked human.

He smirked at me.
"You think a midget dragon would be able to stop me? That's if she is a dragon, not a mutated lizard."
"Ouch!" muttered Elena.

I bared my teeth in response to this question. I could feel my spines and claws discreetly sliding out a couple of inches.

I started to circle towards him.

It was very satisfying the way he paled and shrunk away from the bars.

"But then again I could-" I interrupted him.
"Would you like any remains left behind or should I just incinerate him?" I asked Elena.
"I'm sure we could work someth-" he tried to continue but Elena interrupted him again.
"Only if you let me spear him fist finra."

Okay, it was pathetic and highly immature of us to terrorise this human. I mean honestly, I would never really roast a human and I'm sure Elena wasn't really going to spear him, but then again, maybe ahe would...

While this man was babbling on about "Spare me" and "Don't kill me, I 'll do anything" we snuck down the corridor.

Alright, so I enjoyed that particular exchange hugely. It's only human-I mean dragon...

[Elena]

Snickering slightly I creeped along the passageway. The place appeared to be relatively empty, the guards gone yet I couldn't quite place where. Happy in a very sarcastic way I listened closely for any signs of life. This place got depressing verrry quickly. Water trickled down the walls and we passed a few prisoners, let out one warrior princess and stole someone's bread. Well at least... Finra did. Silently, the warrior princess following us, we made out way into one room and out of another.

"So what now?" I asked Finra.

"Your asking me? THIS WAS YOUR PLAN."

"Shhh... okay okay.... well we could always um... I have no idea."

"This plan sucks." Finra voiced.

[finra]

I tried to go into my quiet place, which is what Siena tends to reccomend whenever I ask her something.

"Let's eat something!" came the answer.

Woops, that was my stomach...

"Are there any strong hold thingies?" I asked Elena," Don't people generally try to yake them in a seige?"
Then it hit me.
"We should take over the city!",I said breathlessly," We should take over it and claim it as our own monarchy!"

Elena stared.

[Elena]

"I have nooo idea where that came from but Finra... I don't think that is such a great idea. I mean.. how?"
That would have been the best answer, wouldn't it. But no, I did not say that, instead I said.
"YES! THEN WE CAN RULE IT!"
I nearly expected myself to say "Hurrah!" next, with a big hand movement. But luckily, self control took over and just so I could avoid embarressment, I went along with the idea.

"So, how do we do it?"
