The purpose of Nigeri is to offer a safe and friendly place for people of all ages to enjoy a fantasy role playing experiance, and maybe practce their writing skills in the process. To keep the site fun and fair, allways remember to follow the guidelines:

Game Rules

1. ONE and only ONE chgaracter per player.
   
2. If your character dies somehow, your account will be altered and you may only post in the underworld from that time on. Jurisdiction of the underworld is in the hands of Razel, and all questions should go to him.
   
3. PLEASE, I know this is a fantasy RPG, but at least try to stay within the confines of middle age reality (Think Lord of the rings or Dragonheart). The crossbow and catapault are the most modern weapons available, and horse wagons and trails are crude.
   
4. Remember, there are guidelines for each race, read them through and keep within them. If you do not, you will be approached by an admin and shown where you went wrong.
   
5. Minah is a great land. Vast landscapes leave it so large it takes at least days for even a dragon to cross. don't go from one end to another in a few hours please...
   
6. If the king or a high council member in your race tells you to do something, remember you are loyal to them and must follow their guidance (Even if it makes war).
   
7. No religion. Some members may take offence to it. If you have an idea and think it might have a little something to do with religion, ask the admins to ok it before you post.

Character Rules

1. You may only use races existing in the character list! (Dragon (4 types available), Elves, Humans,Gryphon, Dramen, Harugula, Orc, Dwarf, (Vampires are on pause/ Demons are allowed, but limited to the underworld). You may ask an admin about a new race, but the head admin (Beltic) will not wish to allow any new races for some time now, except under certain circumsances.
   
2. NO CHARACTER may have enormous power. God-like and Super-powerful beings cause trouble. Dragons physically and mentally are the most powerful, elves and humans are not as strong as dragons, authough some can be nearly as inteligent as the average dragon. Humans though, have a much higher population (shall we say 1000 to 1 compared to dragons, and 600 to 1 compared to elves?), thus they have the greater rule and say in the land.
   

   Story Posting Rules
   

   1. If you would like to post in a story, ASK! Some thread starters have plans for their stories, and an unexpected character might screw up those plans. Just one little private message is all it takes, thats what the PM system is for!
      
   2. Keep the posts majorly one race. Most of the time, humans would not be meeting with dragons, and most of the time not even elves. Interaction is possable in a few threads of course, but not allowed in all.
   
   

   General Board Rules
   

   1. Try to keep the language to a family level, yeah?
      
   2. Of course, NO spamming or flaming will be tolerated. The first few instances will recieve admin warnings. If it continues, you may be banned temporarily. If you still continue, it may result in a permanent banning.
      
   3. Do NOT post racist, sexist or otherwise offensive comments. See above for consequences, though there will be a lot less warnings.
      
   4. No links to offensive images etc. Same consequences.
      
   5. Try to speak coherantly, ie. No writing in 1337, or 'leet'. If you don't know what that is, let's keep it that way.
      
   6. Don't intentionally irritate and annoy other members. If someone tells you that something's annoying them, STOP IT!!! As long as the request is reasonable. Don't take advantage of this rule.
      
   7. Due to a few recent outbursts of off-topic-ness, I've decided to add this - try to stay on topic as much as possible. A few random posts are fine, but don't get carried away - that's what the Conversation o-nuttin is for.
      
   8. When using that chatterbox, do not impersonate other members by writing their name instead of your's.
      
   9. NO ADVERTISING. You can advertise in your signature and in your welcome thread, but nowhere else.
      
   10. Admins and mods do NOT want to have to comb through every individual thread to see posts that break these rules. If you see one, help us out by directing us to it and we'll do something about it.
