The start of the RP, whee. If you need it here is a list of locations.

For the sake of being able to follow things, put the location your addition is taking place in at the start. If you change locations, make a new reply and put the new location in at the start. This will allow people to easily see where your character is so we don't have people jumping about without realizing it.

Uzern

Crisp and cool were the best words to describe the morning air. The sun shone down in wide shafts of light through the largest clearings in the line of trees between it and the village of Uzern. Already life was awake and elves were out working in their gardens or other outdoor activities. Two unicorns, one with light blue fur and the other with a rich yellow, ran through the center of the village as they played tag with one another. Behind them was a stable full of horses who didn't seem phased at all with the antics of their free relatives.
"If I have to clean unicorn dung up one more time!" a voice yelled in the direction of the stables.
Laughter sounded in reply but no other comment followed.

The black and white haired elf that sat halfway up a tree didn't seem to be paying much attention to events around him. He was propped carefully on a branch with his back against the trunk and legs stretched out on the branch. One eye opened partially to show an almost unnaturally bright green iris. The other eye followed soon after and with great care and grace the elf stood on the branch. He shifted the quiver he had over his shoulder to his back where his bow sat. With footsteps placed one after another he made his way out further, just when the branch began to bow under his weight, the elf hopped down to another branch. He continued to do this until eventually he was on the forest floor.
"Hey Rafer, didn't see you there."
The elf in question turned around and with a soft smile he waved back. "Good morning Lady Dougar. I didn't startle you, did I?"
The elderly elf laughed as she tucked a wisp of silver hair under her bonnet. "Child, everything startles me now. Even my own shadow."
Rafer walked up to her and kneeled in the dew covered grass next to her. "I promise you that your fear is unwarranted."
Lady Dougar looked up and met his green eyes with her steel blue ones. "It's just my age, that's all. There's not much left in these old bones and I like so many others fear the end."
"Don't talk like that," Rafer sighed. "You still have a lot to give. Everyone knows your nursery has the best flowers. And need I remind you how important those flowers are to our spells?"
"Flattery only gets you so far," Lady Dougar said with a smirk. "Now I've held you up for too long. Go on about your way." The elderly elf sat up on her knees before she dusted her hands off then waved the younger elf on.
"Good day to you," Rafer said with a slight bow before he stood. Not that he had anything he needed to do, but he knew Lady Dougar would worry herself if she thought he did have something no matter what he said.

Valir, Order of the Angel Slayers

There was a snap of fingers and the black demon that was rummaging through a garbage pail jerked up. He tucked bright yellow arms behind him and flipped a bit of red mohawk out of his red eyes before he looked up at the much taller female figure before him.
"Really now Zanglem. You can at least wait until the trash is taken out before you rifle through it. Your habits are quite disgusting, sometimes I wonder why I keep you around."
"I uh, I do keep the place clean!" he said quickly in a voice that sounded like it should come from a much larger demon.
A narrow black brow on the purple demon's face arched. "You put half of the trash in that bin and still you dig through it. Afraid I might have thrown away something useful?" She turned around and nearly slapped Zanglem with her tail and pink membrane bat wings. "Take it out if you must dig through it. I do not wish to see you pull anything out. And keep what you take in your room, I never want to see something I know I threw away back in the mansion."
"Yes Seraph Reaver, of course." Zanglem bowed deeply then picked up the trash can that was almost as tall as him before he scurried out of the kitchen.

Seraph grunted and shut the water off after she rinsed the peach she took from the fruit bowl. She needed to get more, Hell's fruits were horrible so all of what she had came from her visits to other worlds. The demoness leaned on the black marble countertop before she crossed her left arm over her mid section and bit into the peach her right hand held. She prided herself on a neat household, she had astoundingly good manners for a demon as well and that made it easier for her to take on the appearance of a more docile race. Seraph heard Zanglem reach the front door and she sighed, he really was a creepy little thing. At least he had the small room beside the manor as his living quarters, that kept strange smells from whatever he collected out of the rest of her domain. And she could always entertain the idea of booting him off the island her whole estate was on. Since it floated high above Valir's surface he'd experience death when he hit. Not that he would stay dead, but the idea of going to get him only to do it again later amused her. Seraph had yet to do this though, he was a good housekeeper and made cleaning her sprawling home much easier. He just had a bad habit of taking things of which she'd have to go get when he wasn't around. The purple creature licked her hand to stop the trickle of juice down it before she got something to hold around the peach and stop more messes from happening. Her father was supposed to visit soon, she'd dismiss Zanglem once he brought the trashcan back in. Well, more like ask him to remain outside or in his home while Hades was around. Hades and Zanglem didn't get along, while Seraph had never kicked the servant off her island Hades had. Five times in one day. Seraph thought her father would have a better way to amuse himself considering who he was, but apparently not.

"Oh good, you're here. You're never around anymore, Zanglem."
The black demon froze in mid-step, he was so close to being inside as he'd climbed two of the eight stairs that lead to the mansion's front doors. He'd felt the magic that signified a teleportation spell and the voice brought a sense of dread out in him. Carefully Zanglem sat down the trashcan before he turned around. "H-hades," he replied at last.
The ancient demon smirked as he folded thick arms over his massive chest, behind him swayed his spade tipped tail in quick sweeps. Anyone who knew Hades well enough knew what that sway meant when it was combined with a hoof pawing at the ground.
"I need to get this back in, Seraph Reaver will be angry with me," Zanglem muttered. He turned fast to grab the can again. But within a blink of an eye he found himself perched precariously on the edge of the island with the feel of magic thick in the air. The tingle that ran through his blood began to fade and he shook the dizziness out of his head with a groan. That bastard was going to do it again it seemed. And sure enough, when Zanglem looked over his shoulder he saw a massive hoof heading right for him. The impact tossed him a good ten feet off the island before he started to fall with his classic little girl scream. He needed to quit, even if Seraph Reaver decided to absorb him he needed to get away from Hades and his sense of humor.

Hades leaned over the edge of the island with his hands clasped behind his back as he watched the lesser demon fall through the clouds. "Have a nice trip, see you next fall!" he called out loudly. He knew it was cheesy as hell but it would further piss off the falling cretin so he didn't care. Hades grinned broadly to himself before he turned around. "Ah! There's my favorite daughter!" he exclaimed with arms open wide.
Seraph blinked and stepped to the side of him before she looked down, well she couldn't see him but she was sure her servant was on his way down. "Daddy," she sighed. "Really now, must you pick on him? He is the best housekeeper I have found so far." A massive hand came down on her shoulder before Seraph looked up to see her father's grinning face.
Hades ran his fingers through a lock of his daughter's icy blue hair. "It keeps him in line my dear. Now then, on to business. I want you to focus your efforts on Mhyreu, things are beginning to grow a little tumultuous there and we might be able to take that world. I'm sending someone else to Earth now, you've stirred things up enough now so a lesser demon can take over. The other three worlds we have forces on are looking even more promising. But of course this means Heaven has three potential worlds lined up as well. If we can get our worlds first at least for a while we'll have an advantage."
"Mhyreu? Angels have major dealings there Daddy, it is a hard world to influence."
"Seraph Reaver, my special little daughter. That is exactly why I am sending you, find the angels and be rid of them. Your sister Eloryn and brother Anicetus are prepared to work their magic as well once you can provide them with cover. Take only five of your best Slayers, we do not want this to look like an invasion or you all will be overwhelmed."
Seraph closed her eyes and went into a bow. "Very well, Mhyreu it is. I will pick my Slayers after I have surveyed the land better."
"I'll send Zanglem back up on my way out. But first would you care to join me for a drink? I would like to celebrate your good fortune with Earth's situation." The large demon held his hand out and seemingly pulled a rather large bottle of wine out of thin air. "It's from Qbin, dates back a good four thousand years."
Seraph took it when he offered it to her and smirked. "Eloryn will be angry if you took it from her stash."
A snort sounded. "She needn't worry, I can reproduce whatever I take down to the finest detail," Hades replied.

Jorgiam, Order of the Incubus

"Anicetus!"
The incubus sighed and closed the book he was reading. He made no effort to get out of the chair he sat in with his legs over the arm rest when the door to the library swung open. His older sister Eloryn stormed in, behind her Ani could see one of his fledgling incubus. "Yes?" he asked simply.
"I've been calling for you for like ten minutes now! Looked all over the damned library after your little servant girl said you weren't home but here. Why the fuck do you need a library so damned huge?"
"Pull a book off the shelf in this section, any book. You'll understand." The golden skinned demon unfolded his legs and got up, he sat his book down on the chair and stretched out stiff limbs.
"Oh," Eloryn said once she had pulled out a book. She closed it again but instead of putting it back on the shelf she tucked it under her arm.
Anicetus laughed, "See, I'm sure you'd enjoy them. The rest of your girls too, why it wasn't you that got a library full of this type of book first I'll never know."
"Yeah, well whatever. So what you think about Daddy's new assignment for us?"
"Mhyreu?"The incubus picked his book up again and climbed the ladder to place the book on the second to top shelf. He looked over his shoulder when Eloryn failed to answer. He wasn't surprised to see her peeking into the book again and grinning like an idiot.

"Yeah, that place. Man I haven't been there in like six thousand years. Took some of my girls out for a night on the town and most of them went and got sealed in bottles. They're genies now, doing the bidding of mortals. But I got the head of the mage that did it to em! His skull's been wearing that beret I got ages ago since."
Anicetus climbed back down the ladder and flipped the dangling gem on his left horn back in place after it got caught in his chain earring. "It's a nice place, varied and because it's a world that uses magic we don't have to be quite as careful about what we do while there. But that also means we are in more types of danger since they can do as you said and turn us into genies."
Eloryn straightened her posture and stuck her nose in the air. "They were fledglings, the two older ones and I got away. I can do it again, I'm even smarter now."
"And Mhyreuians are as well."
"Shut up!" Eloryn snapped. "I can do it and you know it, I'm not dumb!"
Not on everything at least Ani thought to himself.
Eloryn smacked the back of her younger brother's head. "Don't you dare bring Shrrim into this. That creepy incubus fledgling of yours doesn't seem to know the difference between being friendly and wanting some!" she said with her voice raised and in the direction of the library door.
Anicetus rolled his eyes before he nudged his sister's shoulder. If she learned how to be more tame in friendly encounters then she wouldn't give others the wrong idea. "Come on, there are others here and I'm sure they'd like to read in peace."
"Others, what you got rooms where they can jack off in?" Eloryn craned her neck around, she didn't see anyone else in any chairs around the room and there were some doors.
"Quite frankly, I don't want to know what they're doing in there. And I don't think you want to know either." Anicetus had to lean out to grab Eloryn by one of her wings. "Because if anyone is doing what you think they are, I can guarantee it's nothing you would enjoy walking in on. You forget that Hell has some ugly beasts as well. Just because our Orders are full of beauty doesn't mean everything here is."
Eloryn turned around quickly, she needn't hear anymore. The last thing she wanted was another creepy stalker.

"I'm going to return home, I would much rather enjoy some alone time now," Eloryn announced once she and Anicetus were outside the pornographic wing of the library.
"Huh-huh, sure," Ani teased. She was after all petting that book she had taken.
"Not like you don't self indulge," she muttered. Eloryn quickened her pace when she came across Shrrim sitting in a chair along the way.
"Hey! I've read that book five times over, I know everything in it if you want to try something!" he called to her as she passed.
"Shrrim!" Anicetus bellowed. "Eloryn is not interested, she has told you. I have told you, my other sister and my father have all told you she's not interested."
Shrrim stood up straight and stared straight ahead while Eloryn left and Anicetus came up to him. He refused to look at his superior and Anicetus only snarled in return.
"You push your luck. There are thousands of demons out there, mortals too. Get out more, find someone willing."
"Yes, Sir," Shrrim replied. He didn't want anyone else though, he liked Eloryn. She wasn't lead succubus for nothing after all and he really wanted to see what she could do.
"If it's a mentor you want, look to a fledging succubus. There are some just as eager as you are about their job," Anicetus said as he turned to leave.
"Yeah, a mentor," Shrrim mumbled.

Valir, Order of the Angel Slayers

"Auntie?"
Seraph looked up from the mug she held in her hands when a familiar voice called to her. "The kitchen, Pandora. Your grandfather is here too."
"OH!" Pandora laughed. The white demon walked into the room and smoothed blonde hair on the back of her head. "No wonder I found Zanglem respawning on the surface. Hi Grampa!" she grinned as she hopped up to the larger demon and wrapped her arms around his neck for a hug.
"Tea?" Hades asked as he motioned to the pot Seraph had brewing on the stove. "Your Auntie and I were just talking about her reassignment to Mhyreu. You've played there before haven't you? I remember tails of a certain goat satyr?" Hades chuckled. He looked silly holding the tiny tea cup in his massive hands. It didn't help when he pinched the handle between his thumb and index finger and stuck his pinky out to drink.
Pandora's hooves clicked over the green marble floor as she opened the cabinet near the sink to claim a cup. "Yeah, I've been there. Went as a satyr myself, too used to hooves to be much of anything else. Why Mhyreu though?" She closed the cabinet and made the short trip to the stove next.
"Earth is falling nicely into line. Hades says my influence is no longer needed, should the angels make a change in it then I will return. But until then the strongest demons are being reassigned. Mhyreu is next on our list, it's natural ties to magic would make it a strong world to have on our side. Father thinks that we might be--"
"Able to boost demon power. And we need this, the angels and Heaven cannot take Mhyreu or it would be us in danger," the old demon finished for her. "If my strongest demons could become even more powerful then no one would stand a chance."
"Oh I see. Neat. Want someone to show you around, Auntie Seraph?" Pandora sat down daintily between her Aunt and Grandfather to sip at the herbal tea. It wasn't just tea, she could always tell when Hades was over because he liked liquor in his tea and this had the taste of alcohol to it. And in the center of the table was a bottle of wine, an empty glass sat before each of the older demons at the table as well.
Seraph polished off the last of her tea and sat the cup on the little saucer that served as a coaster. "Actually I think that is a wonderful idea, I was simply going to visit the Grand Library and see what information was collected before I sat out my own. But a guide is a better idea, more up-to-date than most books."
Pandora was silent for a while, her brow furrowed in deep thought before she smacked her head under the horn in the center. "Oh, Grand Library. For a moment I thought you meant Uncle Anicetus' library. You wouldn't find anything but books on sex from Mhyreu there." Pandora didn't seem the least bit ashamed of talking about such a thing with her older family members. She was part succubus after all so her curiosity on the issue was to be expected. She'd been that way since she was ten and Seraph simply let her explore the nature inherited from her mother to see if Pandora was to follow in Eloryn's footsteps. Pandora though chose to follow Seraph's instead despite that desire she had for the physical act of passion.

"Well," Hades began as he stood up. He towered over both ladies before he took a slight bow and gave both a pat on the head. "I must be off, there are other demon leaders I need to speak to on our plans. I don't think everyone will be shifted, we have some other worlds I would like to induct along with Mhyreu and certain Orders are better suited for them. I will speak with you later," he nodded to Seraph. "And you, young lady," Hades smiled at Pandora. "How would you like to be in charge of dealings on Earth? Your training has come along beautifully, this would be the ultimate test of your skill. Remember, there is no shame in asking for help."
Pandora's red eyes seemed to light up as a toothy grin spread across her face. "Thank you, thank you! I won't let you down, Grampa." She saluted him the moment she stood up and remained in the position with the smile plastered on her face.
"Good, good," Hades replied while he turned to step away from the table. "Come to your Auntie if you have questions, if she's busy then I'm sure one of her lieutenants can be of assistance. Or if you meet Lysander... come to me." The ancient demon cast a glance over his shoulder and flashed a goofy grin before he gathered his magic to teleport out.
Once he had, Zanglem finally peered around the corner of the kitchen. "I hate him," the little black demon snorted. "Where's the... never mind," he said when the trashcan was spotted in it's usual corner.
"Tea?" Pandora offered. She held her cup out for Zanglem to smell.
"Pass," he waved. "Hades made it, I can tell." The black demon turned around and shuffled out of the kitchen to look into emptying the rest of the mansion's trash.

Pandora wrinkled her nose and shook her head before she downed the final bit of deep crimson liquid. "So, what do you want to know about Mhyreu Auntie?"
"Species, customs and sights with the most action. Start with one location, I can spread out over the globe at my leisure. So why not start out in your favorite place?"
"The Kingdom of Mygerik. Ah, no better place," Pandora said with a happy smile. "It has so many kinds of people in it and sits near Durvale. I think Durvale is a good place to stir up what we need accomplished. It has a lot of crime and souls that could be swayed."
"Your mother will be there most likely," Seraph snorted.
"Yeah, she probably will. But I'm telling you, it and Mygerik get people from all over the world to visit. You want to assess how much work you need to do, that's the place."
Seraph leaned on the table and threaded her fingers together under her chin. "Crawling with angels too, no doubt. Tell me, what is a good settlement near the both of them that would be a good place to retreat to should there be a need?"
"Uzern, an elven village. You know what elves are right?" Pandora paused long enough wait for Seraph's reply. "Ok, well yeah. Full of elves but there are some non elven faces too. What kind of species are you looking to be?"
"Actually," Seraph grinned. "I was thinking more along the lines of possession. I can delve into the mind of my host and learn things that way as well as through interaction."
"Then you want a human. No matter the planet they're the easiest minds to take over. And I think I know just the human. She's a thief, fled from Durvale to Uzern and is hiding out in the woods. No one would miss her or suspect a thing. And she's a perfect match for you, humans on Mhyreu are more colorful than Earth's. Purple skin and blue hair, perfect right?"
"Yes, she is." Seraph got up from the table and cleared it. "I am sending you ahead of me. Find this human and call to me, I will remain in the meditation room to accomplish this task. No need in sending all of my essence over if I am just going to work through possession for the time being."
"Really Auntie," Pandora teased. "You should show some interest in wandering around without the annoyance of a second mind hovering around in your awareness. I know you specialize in hunting but human senses are only so good."
"In time Pandora, in time. This is how I learn, I am more of the type to learn from afar then involve myself."
The white demon nodded. "Gotcha, ok I'm off." Pandora spun around once and was gone in a puff of pink smoke with purple glitter effects.

Seraph rolled her eyes, why Pandora liked to be so flashy with her magic she'd never understand. Instead of dwelling on the thought, the purple demon made her way to the second floor and into the meditation room. The room looked a little like a temple, there were no chairs at all in it and instead it had very large, plush pillows. They ranged in style from fringed with tassels to no decoration at all. All the colors were dark; wine red, hunter green and a rich royal purple. Golden accents were about the only other colors on the pillows. The walls themselves were a soft cream color and decorated with shelves that held boxes of incense as well as candles and burners. Nothing was burning and Seraph didn't care to start it either. Instead she pulled out her favorite purple pillow and folded herself neatly on it, she would prepare herself while Pandora searched.

Uzern

A soft sound similar to a rug being flapped just once drifted through the middle of the thick forest. A white demon with blonde hair and black markings was left in the wake of the pink smoke. She looked around quickly before she used magic again to transform her features. Her skin color turned a soft creamy peach while her horse-like lower half remained the same. Her clothing wouldn't show it, but around the hips was were the change from creamy flesh to white flesh happened. The spell was very simple, it helped that Pandora already looked something like a satyr so she didn't have to do much. She brushed her hair back over her unchanged equine ears before she took a moment to get her bearings. "South it is," she murmured to herself. "Fallon's further away from Uzern than I thought." The now satyr being stepped over a fallen log and scuffled her hooves through the leaves so she wouldn't be surprised by something she couldn't see. Pandora never thought the human she'd met on her first trip to this place would later become a vessel for her Aunt. Pandora didn't care about it, it was just sort of funny now when she thought about it. The human that helped her get around would now do the same for Seraph Reaver.

Pandora raised a hand to protect her left eye, it was early morning it seemed. This would be a short day since it was near noon back where she and Seraph lived. The sounds of birds all around her were nice, but Pandora really wished she could have brought her music along to keep her entertained. One day she'd get the device Mhyreuians' used to listen to music. It was called an audio cube or something, all the different names for devices from planet to planet were getting hard to keep track of. Though Mhyreu did have radios, that was limited to technologically advanced areas and audio cubes were magic devices. Pandora's nostrils flared, she smelled human flesh and it was female. As she got closer she was able to determine that it was indeed Fallon, the human really loved roses and practically bathed in the scented oils. Something like an axe hitting wood rippled through the trees, Fallon must have been out chopping firewood for the day. Pandora stood up straight and called out once she was close enough to be heard.

"Fallon, hey Fallon, that you?"
The purple skinned human stopped in mid swing and put her axe down. She shielded her eyes as she looked off in the direction Pandora's voice came from. Sure enough the satyr emerged from the trees. "Morning Moonshine," she grunted the other's nickname. It may not have sounded friendly but it was, Fallon just had a deep voice for a woman.
"Chopping wood again, didn't you do that yesterday?" Pandora scoffed. She shook a hoof out to get the twig that had ended up caught around it off.
"Hey, magic draws attention. I'm trying to lay low and fire is the only way to light the hut and cook food. So yes I'm choppin' wood." Fallon hoisted her axe again and resumed working.
Pandora stood behind her and watched the human, she had forgotten to tell Seraph how Fallon was a big woman. Burly and rather masculine, but it worked since Seraph wouldn't have her natural strength this human could make up for some.
"And you're here because?" Fallon asked while she tossed the two split halves of a log onto the pile. "It's early, you're going to blind people with that pale ass of yours," she jeered with a toss of her head to clear shoulder length hair from her face.
Pandora huffed and crossed her arms over her chest. "Just a social visit, geez. You're like the only friend I have so far."
"I hope you're not here to eat because," Fallon paused to split another log. "I ain't got anything. Ate about an hour ago."
"Have I ever invited myself over for a meal?"
"Yeah. Once you did."

Pandora ignored Fallon's comment, the human was so involved in wood chopping it wasn't like she'd mind. Instead Pandora turned towards contacting her Aunt. Auntie Seraph, I found her. She's chopping wood right now so you might want to wait until she's away from the axe before you possess her.
That is fine, her aunt replied. I need to focus on her energy for a moment anyway.

"So," Pandora began to break the lull in the conversation. "Heading to Durvale today for anything?"
"Eh, maybe. It's been what, a week? I had gloves on and my face painted black to match. It was night and dark so I'm pretty sure everyone won't realize it was me that robbed the market place. I need to get back out and get me some booze. Damn I miss that stuff."
It still amused Pandora to know the human trusted her with all this information, she bet that secretly Fallon would love to brag about her work if she could prevent herself from getting caught.
Fallon had just put her axe up in the box near the woodpile and invited Pandora in when her hands went to her head. "Ugh, headache out of nowhere. Think a mage found something I left behind?"
"Could be, come on. Let's get you inside." Pandora took Fallon by the arm and led her into the abandoned hut she had taken over. Fallon never made it to the pile of fabric that served as a bed before her full weight fell onto Pandora. The disguised demon easily shouldered it all and sat her down.
A moment later Fallon inhaled and slowly looked up. "What a dump. Are all thieves this unconcerned about their living quarters?"
"She's on the run, Auntie. Now then, I forgot to tell you the name of the human you're possessing. Fallon, a few people in Uzern know her so you need the name to answer to."
"Yes, yes I know. It is all in her head. As well as the affinity to use foul words and drink a lot. I suppose I will have to mimic her habits better. Now then," Seraph said as she made her borrowed body stand. "Show me this small town of Uzern. Fallon says it's just oozing with do-gooders and pansy ass elves."
"Oh, good one. That sounded more like something she'd say. Yeah, Uzern is the model of what will be working against us so that's a good place to get deeper into."
"Once I have gotten a feel for this place, you should go attend to your duties. The lessers on Earth will want to meet their new commanding officer."

Rafer hadn't gotten too far from Uzern before he heard voices. He knew them both, the two strangers that ventured into Uzern only for supplies. Fallon the human and Pandora the satyr, they were an odd pair and he didn't trust them much. But until they gave him reason to think differently, he would simply act as if nothing was amiss. Quietly the elf pulled the arrow away from his bow and slipped it back into the quiver. He kept the bow out though, it just made him feel better. He had hoped the two didn't know he was around, they tended to tease him a bit more than he would have liked. That was the main reason he wasn't fond of them, they were just mean spirited.
"A-ha, there he is! As always, prowling about. Paranoid much?" Pandora laughed.
Rafer turned to see her standing to his left with her arms crossed over her chest, Fallon was smiling as usual. "It never hurts to remain alert. You two live alone in the woods, you should worry about your safety as well due to isolation."
"I can take care of myself well enough," Fallon spat. "Do I look like I have much to fear? They ain't no way anyone's gonna get the best of me. I'm smarter 'an that." She tapped the side of her head with two fingers and chuckled.
The elf drew himself up taller and raised his voice. "Caution still is a good course. Don't get cocky, that's when it happens." He didn't mean to sound so harsh but he did speak from experience. Maybe it would do Fallon some good to be knocked down a peg or two, but it wasn't his job to decide.
Pandora elbowed Fallon and pushed her back to the other side of the dividing bushes. "Leave him be, let him do his patrol. He's keeping our asses safe."
Fallon tried to fight with Pandora but decided against it when Rafer seemed a bit more interested in getting an arrow out. "You're too damned jumpy, Snow Cap."
"It's kept me alive this long." He held the arrow carefully away from the bow but ready should he need to move it closer in order to get the duo to move on.

Pandora and Fallon walked in silence for a while until Pandora could no longer smell the elf.
"Alright, Fallon is going to get me in trouble at this rate. I will need to spend more time around those she does not know," the purple skinned human said softly to Pandora.
"Yeah... but you gotta admit, teasing that elf is fun."
It was a childish act, something Pandora picked up from her mother and Hades himself. Seraph would never waste her time on something so unneeded. "An hour or so in the village then I return home. I will do this in short bursts for a while."

Isem, Order of War Mongers

"We're the final ones left.."
The fallen angel stared intently at the demon across from him. It was a large ogre like demon, he bared his teeth back revealing his sharp teeth. His skin was black and looked as if he had been covered in tar. His eyes where each a different color, one was red and the other a bright purple. The thing didn't need armor because of its thick skin. It'd be hell killing it but atleast he knew he had an edge. He had speed and that thing had been slow from the get go, but everytime he hit the beast with his swords it regenerated in a matter of minute. In fact a wound he'd just made was healing already. The fallen angel was a bit worried, sweat beaded down his forehead, his dark blue hair was matted against his head. His green skin was covered in his sweat his armor was cracked and purple fluid was seen where it had been opened. It was his blood, his own wounds had healed as well but it had taken longer. Each one of them created by some other demon or fallen angel. It had been hell getting to this and he was determined to slay his foe. Maybe if he decapitated him, yes that might work.

"I think the big one has this.", said a small red demon in the seats of the colloseum.
"Nah, he's too slow. I think that fast one's got 'em, how about we make a bet Skarm?"A large orange demon with two goat horns said. The smaller demon moved his small arm to the top of his head and scratched it as he thought.
"Alright, you've got yourself a deal Maelzar. If you win i'll give you my skull collection. What do I get if
I win?"
"I'll give you my hand and let you eat it."The other demon grinned at the smaller one.
"Alright then, it's a deal."

The two turned back just as the stare down had stopped. The fallen angel lunged foreward at the ogre demon and jumped on to its club as it swung down at him. It climbed on to it and began hacking on its arm. The ogre moved to grab at it and wound up grabbing where he had been slashed. The cuts where deep that fallen was fast and he let out a roar as the fallen angel had ran up his arm some and was now on his back and was stabbing him in the neck, he felt his spinal column severe as the demon slowly began to work his head off and finally it fell on the ground as the large body did. The fallen angel panted, thankfully his plan worked and the demons body turned in to ash and blew elsewhere. He'd be back and probaly want another fight for losing. This time though he'd probaly be more fit and would finish him off even quicker. The fallen angel dropped his scimitars and moved his armored hand through his hair as he listened to the roar of the audience. Finally he'd won and he looked around and waited for his master to come through the doors he stared at now.

"I want those skulls at my place by tonight.", said the orange demon with a sly grin. He was about to make fun of the smaller one until a pair of massive doors opened and slowly a figure in black and purple walked out with a woman. His grey hair was moved out of his face by his hand and he gave a grin to the winner as the fallen fell to his knees and bowed before him. The female had an arm wrapped around the males waist and looked down at the newest recruit and began to speak in a heavy accent.
"Master Douma congratulates you on winning, welcome to his legion. Tomorrow you and others will head to a planet Hades wishes for him to send you and the others to."
Douma turned his head to her and she gave a nod and he motioned for the fallen one to stand.
"He wants you to go through those doors, there you will be cleaned up and given the standard armor. As well
as weapons of your choice. Do him and Hades proud, now go."She turned around and as did Douma as he ran to the doors and soon they followed slowly.

"So what's on our agenda next?", Violet said as she turned to the taller figure who stood silently and
walked down the hallway ahead of her. All the other winners in each colloseum where all in a room being prepared. He could hear them speak to the blacksmiths that made the armor right then and there for them.
"I wish to return to the mansion.", a voice said inside of her head.
"All the battles have stopped and Master Hades will be by to hear of how many have been recruited today."
She gave a nod and followed and grabbed his hand as they both vanished in thin air to their home. It was on a floating island like many of the demon leaders, his house was white and red in color. They had transported themselves inside of their lounge room. He sat in his chair and she sat in a smller chair and leaned over
towards him. He moved his hand towards her head and ran his fingers along her head as he waited while he leaned his head against his head and stared at the door.

Isem, Order of War Mongers

Upon his arrival Hades became acutely aware of the sounds in the coliseum he had teleported outside of. The cheers of the crowd and the smell of blood was unmistakable; the games had started up again. Though the person he had come looking for wasn't there, Hades couldn't sense Douma - leader of the Order of War Mongers.
"House call it is," the ancient demon murmured. He had yet to be seen by anyone else and that's how he wanted it, he hadn't planed on giving any form of rousing speech to the throng of gathered spectators and gladiators nor did he want to at this moment. So before a drunken demon could stumble outside the large walls he teleported once more. This time he ended up in the front yard of a sprawling mansion that sat in the clouds. It was foggy here, very thick but Hades knew were he was heading so it didn't matter. His massive hooves clumped along the brick path that lead to the door, decorative torches that burned with pure red flames lined the way and gave the fog a pink tint to mix with the grey. Idly Hades took in his surroundings, he enjoyed the sights all his lead demons had put on their island homes. No two mansions were the same as each demon leader had their own taste and flare. Douma and Seraph Reaver were the close in job but their tastes were vastly different. Seraph Reaver had a sort of eerily calm beauty to her surroundings while Douma's inspired the fire inside a warrior's soul. Anicetus and Eloryn were the only two that had similar tastes in decoration styles. They were sensual creatures with a love for only the most expensive and exquisite of ornamentation.

But his mind had begun to wander too far off from his purpose. Hades turned his gaze from the sharp architecture of the mansion and back to the red brick path he walked. Hades merely wanted to speak to Douma about the new focus. Granted the War Monger wouldn't be able to run in with his sword held high when sent to Mhyreu, but Hades did have a more subtle job for him. The demon took the steep flight of stairs three at a time and reached the landing in no time. He took just a moment to admire the skulls Douma had collected from mortal war mongers and inlaid around the entrance before his large hand curled into a fist and he rapped on the door three times. The door knew who had knocked and as its enchantment had stated, it opened for the leader of Hell. Hades ducked down a foot to get in the door before he was able to stand up straight again in the entrance hall. The fog wasn't present inside but the red torches still didn't illuminate much. Douma's colors were dark and as such they had a habit of swallowing light rather than spreading it. Deep shadows covered much of the ceiling and furniture left long trails of darkness that wavered and danced in the torch light. Once more Hades became slightly lost in his surroundings, he really liked Douma's taste and the demon had slightly changed the room since he was last in it. Though he did at least keep moving, the large demon stooped to get under a decorative archway as he turned down the hall he needed to take. Douma knew he was there now as Hades knew who he came for was in. The door to the room opened when a slender hand pulled it back.
"Please, My Lord, do come in," the pretty little demon said. Violet bowed her head as she stepped back and took her seat at Douma's side.
"On Mhyreu," Hades began once he cleared his throat. "You will have to be subtle in your acts. Survey first, learn were tensions are the strongest and slowly rile up all sides involved. I want you to listen to Seraph Reaver though, she will warn you of the angels and if you need be extra vigilant. And," he added with a raised brow. "Because Eloryn seems to do better when you ask her to, have her to leave the angels alone until Seraph Reaver can find them all. Their rivalry can sometimes make things unnecessarily messy. Women," Hades grinned with a soft chuckle. "And if you have no questions about this then maybe we can talk about your Order, I saw the games were underway. Who have you picked to join you?"

The name escapes me at the moment, Douma said telepathically with a light shrug. He leaned slightly over to Violet and drew her closer to him. However I am pleased with the outcome this time. Some of those that didn't make it would still do well in my ranks. I may ask them to join without proving their worth, though I doubt I will. It would seemingly undermine the games which I and others find so fun.
"You should have been there," Violet purred as she leaned against her master. "Your presence would have made for an even grander show, Lord Hades."
The ancient demon rubbed his beard lightly. "I should come to the next games, it's been far too long since I've let myself enjoy a good battle. And we are heading towards a foot hold on a new world, public appearances will help boost pride in others. I will take your invitation and make the time. And if you'll excuse me there are other Orders I need to pay a visit to. I bid you farewell." Hades saluted Douma in the tradition of the military on Earth before he teleported out.

"Such an interesting individual," Violet said softly. With no company around she decided to crawl up into Douma's lap and face him. "I still don't know what to make of him." The fallen angel grinned broadly at the other as she wound a lock of his hair around her index finger.
With his age and wisdom comes a unique sense of humor and personality. Hades is a brilliant demon. In a rare moment of affection Douma nuzzled against the hand Violet had cupped around his cheek. If not today then tomorrow we should visit Mhyreu. I am eager to see what I will get to work with.

Nimien, Heaven World

White water fell down in curtains along the face of the cliff, ledges and rocks deterred it and forced the liquid to wind through barriers before it could cascade down yet another short rock face on it's way to the river below. The waterfall had looked the same since the planet had ascended. Water no longer eroded the rocks of the cliff and the waterfall hadn't migrated further up stream in nearly a million years, it was frozen in time with only the seasons and weather around it to change. The mist that rose up twenty feet from the base entertained the sunlight with rainbows that lazily arched through the mist and added a splash of color in an otherwise white cloud. Voices from atop the fall were drowned out at the base thanks to the roar of the water, but up stream and away from the noise they would be heard well enough.
"No, Lysander. I'm not saying we forget about Earth. You know how much that planet means to me, you know how I am. It's just that I'm worried, because Hell is certain they have the world in their grasp they're going to move to another one."
The yellow angel ran a hand through the brown mohawk atop his head. "I'm sorry, Avernus. I did sound like I was jumping to conclusions. I know what you meant, it's just that since Hell is backing away from Earth we can step in to really clean it up. If we can't bring it into alliance with us, we can at least keep it away from Hell so that Earth can continue to evolve on it's own."
"We can still do that, I can pull two jobs. Really, I trust my angels on Earth and some of them really would like to try and work without my constant supervision. I also want to stay busy, I've been talking with Demon Defense and they've narrowed down the possible worlds Hell might try for."
Lysander stood up from the rich, healthy grass he'd been sitting in. He dusted his back side off and twitched his lion-like tail to wake it up. "If you take away the infant worlds that are too young for any influence from either side, you still have a massive list of worlds. Mortals are prone to sin because it makes them feel powerful, that's the one mortal desire that never changes."
The pale blue angel remained seated and looked up to her superior. "We have five worlds, Lysander. Five to look at, the ones intelligence says are the sweetest draw to a demon."
"Then tell me these worlds and I will tell you if they were the ones that came to mind for me." Lysander offered a hand to the other angel, she took it after a moment then stood up.
"Belarm, Norg, the nearly completely water world of Vernu as well as it's sister planet Kaleri. Last and the one we're leaning towards the most is Mhyreu."
"Mhyreu?" Lysander snorted. "Why out of all the worlds you listed it is the purest. Still, even at that the other worlds too I can't see being in Hell's sights right now."
"You know the answer to why we believe they're targets, Ly. You said it yourself when I was but a fledgling who came to you for council. It's their magic, they are the strongest magic worlds out there right now and a font as powerful as they are would boost the base abilities of whatever side managed to possess them. If Hell claims them they will get the edge they need and the ability to break past our defenses. If we get it then we can break past theirs."

"No one can take those worlds though."
Avernus' jaw dropped and she stared blankly up at the taller angel. "Are you saying we don't even bother watching them more closely?"
"You're young still, Avernus. Do you remember my lecture on balance?"
"Yes, of course. It was one of the reasons I chose to be an angel. But you can't possibly be telling me we have to take the mortal view of Fate and Destiny. We, along with Hell are Fate and Destiny! It is our efforts that ultimately decide the grandest of issues. Not how every last living soul will be Judged but rather what becomes of their world at its end."
Lysander began to walk upstream along the river in a slow pace so Avernus could catch up to him. "Balance is an issue fought between the light and dark sides of the spectrum. But there are times when one side becomes too powerful and overwhelms the other. This can't be, as horrible as it may sound things are supposed to be the way they are now. I'm not saying the Fate of each world is already decided, rather for every world Hell gains we gain one as well. No one know which worlds those will be. The one thing I am certain of though is that if Hell were to claim one of those five worlds you mentioned, then by default we would gain one as well to counter their advances. That would being us back to this stalemate."

Avernus sighed in a slightly agitated manner. "I know, to cast a shadow you need light. And even the darkest and longest of nights will see the sunrise. But we're off the mortal coil, we're at a higher state of being. Why do the rules of balance still have to effect us?"
"Because without Hell all worlds would ultimately come to us. We could continue to grow with no opposition, no purpose. This," Lysander began as he stopped and held his arms out wide. "Is a reward, without being tested there is no need for a reward. No purpose in being mortal, no goal to work towards. Hell is the punishment for giving in rather than fighting for what you know is right. We would not be here without Hell, without us Hell wouldn't be here. This purpose is lost on mortals, balance at times doesn't make sense. You want good to prevail, I do too. To not have to worry about Hell taking more souls, to free those snared in its clutches. That would please me so much. Balance assures us that we have something to do once our mortal lives have ended. Who is it that creates more souls?"
"Angels who mate."
"Life goes on because of us. Who is it that tempts souls into oblivion?"
"Hell," Avernus replied as if Lysander had offended her with the question.
"Two sides, two points to balance. The fulcrum?"
"Mortal lives? I mean since it is they who fuel us."
Lysander turned slowly to face the other seraph and rubbed the crest of his nose. "They fuel us, join the ranks of either side. That means they can't be the fulcrum. If we lose the fulcrum then the balancing act is for naught, it's a constant and there would never be anything to worry about. Obviously we have worry so there is a fulcrum, and on that note it isn't mortal lives."
"But, wait. You lost me. Ok, so I know without a fulcrum you don't have the scales tilting in either direction, they'd wind up flat with nothing to cause a tilt. It's not like there's a finite number of mortals. Yes, when they die some join Heaven and some join Hell while others get to try life again. The mortals are multiplying faster than they are joining one side or the other. The fulcrum would never vanish then, if it's not them acting as that point then what?"
"I can't say. We know more than mortals but we don't know everything. I've been around long enough to see demons and angels both simply vanish without a trace. No mortal influence, no slaying by the other side. Maybe some simply hid away because they were sick of this quagmire. Or maybe they have been taken to assure that balance isn't disrupted."

"Taken, by who?" This line of thought was new to Avernus, she knew that Heaven and Hell were the powers operating above and away from the norm of mortal lives. A third entity just didn't make sense.
"What if you look at it this way. Heaven and Hell are simply the platforms on the scales, the places themselves. It's the population that tilts the scales. Add a few new souls to one side, do the same on the other for balance. In our case we're talking about adding power which is... heavier than souls alone. But I've gone off topic, there is always someone there to watch the balance. I believe the fulcrum itself is what watched the balance. Before your time, before you were born as a mortal there was a certain battle that seemed Hell would finally triumph over us. But they didn't, no one knows why. No one has the answers, we've looked into it for so long. We being the other angels and I that were there when the force we were expecting never showed up. It wasn't a trap, it wasn't a false alarm to draw our attention away from the real attack. Hades was livid, demanding to know what we had done to his trump card. We never even saw what it looked like, never knew just what to expect. Something took it, something prevented Hell from over-running us. From that day I've simply known that things would never get out of hand. We will always be able to handle what is thrown our way."

"I.." Avernus shook her head and rubbed her temples. "I'm lost, I'm confused. Who is this third entity, what is their side like? Who do they side with, us it sounds like."
"First, I don't know who this side is or if they are real. It is just a feeling. As for them siding with us... no. They don't side with us, they don't side will Hell. That's the act of balance, for a neutral to oversee it and make sure both sides are equally matched to push against one another. A tip in either way... we know a tip in the direction of Hell is bad. And we believe a tip in ours is good. Heaven makes people happy just being here, no worries for the souls that chose to remain oblivious to our struggle. Because there is a Hell, we never see the bad seeds here. If Hell were to vanish the bad would find their way here with no where else to go and the order would suffer. I honestly believe that if one side were to be eliminated the other would collapse on itself when it was forced to take the souls it wasn't equipped to deal with. That would cause the energies to clash and who knows what would happen then. This is all theory, mind you. I've had so much time to think about it and I still don't have things lined up the way I feel would make the most sense when talking to another."

It was then she dared to ask the one question Lysander had dreaded. "What of the fallen angels?"
"In essence, they turned on Heaven and the natural order here. At the root... Heaven was too powerful, balance demanded a shift of power. Rather than said angels vanishing they ended up changing their alliance. That was the first time I found myself questioning the absolute that Heaven and Hell were supposed to be. And I questioned it again each time an angel turned or each time a power on either side simply vanished. I'm not so sure this is all there is to things, maybe there is something even higher than us. I was the first soul to find Heaven, everything was here besides more souls. If this third side isn't an entity, then it's the force itself that makes the worlds we help populate. If there is one last thing I have to say it's this: do you remember when you were alive and your belief in God only to be shocked upon finding there was no such person waiting when you got here? That is what I am feeling right now, that we are merely separated from this entity, that he or she has to remain separated from us to truly be neutral."
Avernus sighed deeply and covered her eyes with her hands. "You made my head spin."
"You asked," Lysander chuckled. "But during my speech I did think about the worlds of magic. If Mhyreu is the one Defense think is at the top of the list then we will send a few eyes there to watch things. And if Hell shows up then we should only deal with the demons and leave the mortals alone. We want the world to be neutral, let it decide on it's own where it should be. I don't want to force the scale."
Now this Avernus could understand. She peered out between her fingers and studied Lysander, he had unfurled all six of his wings and stood there with the feathers dancing in the wind just barely. "So we only drive the demons out, we don't worry about fixing the problems they start?"
"If Defense is right we'll be there before the demons can corrupt anything. We simply keep them from tainting and there's nothing to worry about."

The blue angel unfolded her three pairs of wings before she launched herself into the air, the conversation had ended so she was going to take her leave before more questions gave her long winded replies. "I will leave you for now, Lysander. We can further discuss action if need be. This is a little out of my league but I would like to take part in the protection of Mhyreu."
"I know," the yellow angel replied. He turned around and shielded his eyes from the sun as he focused on the hovering angel. "And I'll allow you to do so. Keep the Guardian numbers down however, they are needed on Earth more. Guidance angels could be employed as well, I know they specialize in helping developing worlds evolve so they can survive, but they have some basic Guardian training. They can be used instead for this case."
Avernus gave a curt nod before she flew higher into the sky then finally disappeared.
"Time doesn't seem to hold the same power it did in life," Lysander sighed to himself. "No one ages, no one becomes ill. I would be so bold as to say things are dull, though they aren't. Our gifts make up for the unchanging landscape and endless time. There will always be something to see and do even if it's outside of our safety ring." Lysander turned to look the opposite direction, if his geography of the stars was right for his current location he was facing the general direction of Hell Prime. "Hell must offer fruits to you as well or your resolve would not be as strong as that of the angels'. Balance will keep us like this eternally." Lysander took a moment more to take in his surroundings, he should return to Prime soon or at least visit Porfim.

Uzern

"Bethany!" a strong voice called out. "Don't go out into the woods, you know better."
"But Daddy!" the elven child whined. The little green-haired girl turned back to the horse stables but didn't move from the line of trees. She could hear the two people that lived in the forest coming and she wanted to go say hi.
"Bethany," her father called again. "Could you come help me for a moment? The horses need fresh water, could you fill the trough for the little ones?"
The elven child was startled when the wood that made the fence behind her creaked. She turned to see her red-haired father leaning on it and holding out a second bucket for her. "You said you would help care for the foals, they need water too. Now please fill this up."
"Yes Daddy," Bethany sighed. She reluctantly took the bucket and looked over her shoulder one last time before she re-entered the first gate.

"That's Bethany and her father Willard," Pandora said quietly to the possessed human. "Fallon can never remember Willard's name though and calls him 'Horse man' instead."
Fallon made a face and shook her head. "I will never feel comfortable in this skin."
"You'll find a form you'll want to morph into eventually." Pandora fell silent as she and her companion finally crossed out of the forest and into the village.
"Hi!" Bethany called from the other side of the fence. "Wha'cha here for?"
"Supplies," Fallon replied while not slowing her pace or looking back.
"What kinda supplies?" Bethany asked as she ran along side the fence to catch up.
"House wares."
"Exactly what, I might know where to go!"
Fallon rolled her eyes and picked up the pace. "Kitchen supplies."
"Daddy's the blacksmith too, he could make you more cast iron things if you need skillets. Do you need skillets?"
Pandora tilted her head to the side and changed direction, Fallon followed and the fence kept Bethany from following.
"Ok!" the child said. "But if you need them later come get me and I'll get Daddy!" she called out to them.
"Bethany!" Willard snapped. "Off the fence, you'll fall."

"I was never like that, was I?" Pandora asked quietly.
"No, and there was much more to keep you busy anyway," Fallon replied. "Now... the house with the iron gate, that's the house I need for this list of kitchen utensils Fallon has in her head, right?"
"Eh, they hardly have anything this late in the week. You might end up going to Durvale for most."
"We shall see, but I have had just about all I can take pretending to be this person." Fallon swung open the black gate and flinched at the annoying creak it made. She didn't bother to wait for Pandora and instead walked up to the door. The sign read to knock first so she did, right before she barged in.
"Your manners are severely lacking," the middle aged elven man inside growled as he looked up from the table he sat at. "This is both a house and a business, you can't simply barge in here uninvited because of that house bit."
"Yes well," Fallon began before she pointed to the door behind him. "That's your house. This is the business judging by the shelves of repeat items."
"I should deny you service," the elf said with his nose in the air.
"She's paying, what do you care?" Pandora spoke up. She stood off to the side and simply watched the human browse the cutlery and poor selection of food items the village didn't grow itself.

The brunette elf folded the paper he had been reading and pulled his till out from under the cabinet while he carefully watched Fallon shift through his produce. She turned her nose up and as expected went over to the liquor.
"This watered down shit all you have?" she asked as she rolled a bottle around in her hands.
"Hard liquors are not offered here," the elf replied. "Durvale sells what a person of your... taste desires."
Fallon huffed and kept hold of the bottle anyway before she turned back around to the knives and grabbed a bread knife. She picked up items needed to make bread before she snagged a sharpening stone then piled her find onto the counter.
"Now, how will you be paying? Trade and barter, exchange of services or the less common currency methods?"
Fallon smirked and dug around in her pockets, she pulled out a chunk of unrefined mythril she'd been saving and plopped it down in front of the elf. "This is worth more than what I need right now. I want to see you make a note that the next three times I come in here I will either be able to walk away with two bottles of liquor or the grains needed to make bread."
The elf snatched up the mythril and turned it over in his hands, granted he would have to go to Durvale or Mygerik to get it refined but he had such a rarity. Fallon had short changed herself, though. She could take all of his liquor and grains right now and still not have what the mythril was worth. It would take more than three visits for him to fully earn what she had given him. And while the elf didn't want to correct her, he had to. "Actually, Fallon," he began slowly. "For the next two months, providing you come in once a week the liquor and grains will be paid for." He wanted to kick himself for that gnawing bit of honesty in him but knew it would haunt him later if he didn't let her know her math was short changing her.
"Ah, you're right. Remember that then," Fallon said as she waved a finger at him. "Come on Glow Ass," she said to Pandora before she gathered her things and slipped them into the empty sack that had been tied around her belt.
The satyr rolled her eyes as she pushed off the wall she had been propped up on. "You're such a bitch you know?"

"Fallon, Pandora."
The duo froze just on the other side of the cast iron gate before Fallon turned around to see the matriarch of the village standing to the side with her hands resting on her hips.
"Listen, I understand you don't live in our village and merely come in for supplies. But I must ask you to follow rules of common courtesy while here. You scared the living daylights out of Lady Vemal, she ran to me babbling about thieves who had burst into her home. I come here and find the two of you."
"Elaniah, is it?" Fallon asked. "Look, we didn't do nothing. This stuff?" she held up her sack. "I paid for. I over paid for. Go ask Mister Vemal or whoever he is if you don't believe me. Mythril was my payment."
"I'm not saying your payment is the problem, rather your antics themselves. You unsettle most of the villagers. Conduct is the key, learn to behave better. Rafer is constantly mentioning his treatment to me. If it doesn't change I'll have to ask you to travel to Durvale for all your needs."
"Are you threatening to bar us from Uzern?" Pandora scoffed.
"Yes, I am. Give me further reason to fear the peace in this village and I will."
"Come on Pandora, we're done here. If they don't appreciate my trade value then fine." Fallon grabbed the satyr by the horn and wrenched her around to leave the way they came.

"Holy shit, Auntie!" Pandora hissed once they were away from the village. "Did you have to wrench my horn so hard? I'm going to have a headache now."
"Fallon's natural 'charm' is affecting me. That is the downside to possession, the host's normal manerisims are far too easy to get lost in. Quicken your pace, I have seen enough for now."
"Enough? You haven't even seen a fourth of what Uzern is about."
"I have seen enough from Fallon for now, before I make another trip I will have to plan where to go and what to do so her charm will not put me off."
"Heh, I'll admit at first she's hard to handle. But you'll get used to her."
"Pandora, I certainly hope you are wrong."

Fallon groaned and cracked an eye open, she had heard Pandora calling to her and now with an eye slightly open she could see the satyr hovering over her. "Personal space!" the human snapped as she flung an arm out. "Someone might think you're into women."
"Well excuse me for being worried," Pandora huffed. Regardless she backed away from her friend. "That was only the second time you've passed out today."
Fallon froze just after she swung her feet off the pile of fabric she was on. "Second?" Well at least she was at home and unharmed.
"Yes, you got up after the first time and went to Uzern for things you needed, remember? Elaniah threatened to bar our entry and blah, blah."
"I... think I remember. But it's foggy." Fallon massaged her temples gently, she had a killer headache too. Wasn't a hangover one but it was just as bad. "Ugh, did we meet anyone from Durvale or anywhere else, was there a new face?"
"No and no. If you're really going to believe it's a mage's spell to get back at you for something you did, maybe you should cast a counter spell to see who it is."
Fallon grimaced and stood slowly, she felt sluggish and slightly hazed. "If this doesn't improve by tomorrow. Maybe I'm chopping the wrong wood to burn. You know there is Brem Spruce around here, look like normal spruces. The smoke from them is toxic though, good for a high if you're of reptile nature but harmful to the rest of us saps. Think I'll leave the spruce alone from now on."
"Sounds good to me. Now if you're going to be a cranky bitch I'm going to head on out. Visit Durvale myself, heard there was a gladiator match today. I love watching big dumb men run around in rags while trying to kill each other."
The human leaned lightly on the wall and held a hand over her eyes. "If I was feeling better I might go. But I think I'm going to sleep this off. Now get." Fallon shooed Pandora out before she dropped the canvas that served as a curtain on the hut's one window. Sleep sounded like the best course of action, maybe then she could get rid of the pain.
