A new year, a new journal. And not just that, but a whole mess of things to put into you.

We just arrived at Hogwarts and finished the feast. It's the same thing every year, I just get older, and move up a year, allowing those after me to fill my place. It's odd rather. Just how everything works you know? Well It's already started to be an interesting year. At The Leaky Cauldron I met up once more with Lucius, Bella and Narcissa this year. Not on purpose mind you, we just happened to all be staying there, because their paretns were having some meeting, mine went as well, but that was not the reason I was staying there.

It was your standard Malfoy and Black greeting, so nothing special about it. I still have a hard time keeping my temper about him, but I'll just have to deal with it for another year, and then it's over. I have to say that meeting Lucius in Flourish and Bolts. We spoke a little, but I couldn't help but slap him. Twice even. Yes I know I should keep my temper under control, but it is hard around him. But we fought, I was afraid he would have striken me on the last few words we shared there about him being like his father, but he let me go and I left.

I met someone else too. His name is Ausugtus. He's in his 7th year and a Slytherin as well. However, unlike others, I can carry a civil conversation with him and enjoy his company much more than I do the others. We sat together oin the train for some part of the ride. He's nice, and more understanding than the rest. He came from that other school that specialized in the Dark Arts, the name escapes me at the moment. Anyway, I think there might be something with this. I don't know though, to early to tell, but I think I can trust him. Or at least trust him enough that he won't go and tell Lucius everything that is said. Speaking of Lucius, I don't know. This is already confusing me. Just everything that is going on, I think I may just be confused. I don't know what it is about him, but when I'm around him, he always gets to me, which usually causes my temper to flare, but yeah, I don't know. I think part of me sort of likes it, but I don't think that's right. I just laugh at the thought, but Augustus on the other hand, much more tolerable, and well just nicer. I think it's just the fact that it's a new year and I'm still getting over the events of the summer. Well I can't think of anything else to write, so I think I shall leave you for now. And until then, good bye.

Alright not much has gone on since we finished up the feast. You know, the same old same old, don't do this, obey these rules, please stay out of these corridors, the usual. Well it was pretty boring until it all ended. I left the hall to find Lily talking with Augustus which I thought odd, but turns out he was waiting for me. I asked why after she left and he apologized for leaving me on the train. It was a sweet gesture, but he didn't need to, I mean I've been going to Hogwarts long enough to understand that mixing between Gryffindor and Slytherin is a large line that is not to be crossed, but I guess he was just being a gentleman, some thing that this house could use more of, along with his, though being from their families that they are, they have it down a bit more than ours, not that I don't mind our house. We have good people too, but I don't know, just need it a little more on our side I guess.

Anyway after we parted our ways things just got fun from there. Lily and James were up in the common room together, not a good thing. So we all got into a big conversation and out of no where Lily throws a book at me! Not sure why.....but Mrs. Potter does have a nasty temper on her. Let's just hope she doesn't read this, she'll kill me, I'm sure of that. Surprised I got away with my life and not a scratch after I called her that earlier. But other than that, not much went on and Now, I am going to bed, in peace and quiet, without my mother or sister standing over me when I wake ready to yell at me for something else I've done wrong.

Sorry I haven't been keeping up as much as I should, but this year has been rather busy for me. A quick run through should get you back up to date with the now, hectic life I lead here, not like it was much different from other classes, just more homework. My sister is back here and now in her fifth year. Lucky me. Why can't she just go to a different school?

Anyway, there isn’t much to really discuss. I have classes, Sirius and James are still off pulling pranks, and I am still stuck here torturing and being annoyed by Lucius, Narcissa, and a few others. However, there seems to be some shred of decency in the Slytherin house. Augustus and I are still together. Personally, I am surprised each other’s houses have killed neither of us. Lily still asks me about it, nothing to bad, just odd things that I just don't get. However, I'm sure his friends still want me dead. I'm positive Lucius would love nothing more than to see me disappear for the rest of his controlled life, but I think I'll just stick around.

Well...after that there is really nothing more that I have to tell you. And besides, I need to write that blasted potions paper the professor assigned us two days ago. I had better finish that before class tomorrow.

The dance was something I doubt I will ever forget. Not entirely sure though if its a good or bad thing, far to many things going on. I went with Sirius... AS A FRIEND; I think tht's where some of the drama started, in fact, I am sure. Augustus wasn't to happy, but I don't think its entirely fair to blame me, Sirius asked first, and it was the day before, not my fault he procrastinates. That is besides the point, once we got to the dance it was fine for a couple of dances, then people started to freak out a bit. I had been dancing with 'Gus when Sirius had his reaction to the poison.

It created a big scene, I think he was yelling at his brother, and I had gone over, Gus followed, and that I guess caused him to snap. Next thing I knew Sirius had punched Augustus. He has qite an arm. Killerman put some spell over the room, everyone is fine now, Sirius doesn't even remember wht hapened, nor does anyone else who has been poisoned.

Not much happened after that, We all basically headed toward the common rooms, had one last dance with 'Gus in the court yard. It was nice, but I'm sure if anyone had seen it would have looked as if we had gone mad... dancing to soundless music. Took a lot out of me not to laugh, but it was rather nice to have one last dance in an uncrowded area.

Not much to say after that. Everyone is fine no huge damage done, no deaths, broken bones, just maybe some grudges now out in the open. Heard my sister got poisoned, Poor Kingsley. She can be a nasty person when the time calls for it. Hope he isn't too crushed.
