((MAJOR SPOILERS!)) Did anybody notice...?, MAJOR MAJOR SPOILERS

Okay, so we all saw how.... //broken// K'val seemed, in chap 20, after announcing Maria's death. I mean, for the rest of the remaining chapters (all, like, three of them) K'val was just completely depressed. He was at least half-drunk in 50% of his scenes, extremely weepy, mentioned that he "sometimes see her in my sleep" or "I turn and I see her, just for an instant and it //hurts//"


And then Cefo walked down to the kitchen and he saw K'val standing directly in that shadow, and.... foreshadowing, anybody?

This may fit better under "Blood and Thunder," but does it seem possible that K'val might kill himself?

She cant kill off Kval!!!! It would be so sad after weve seen him through all these books...I dont think hes that sad!!! ...maybe she can bring Maria back instead? I thinkt hat would be better.

OMG, I'd be so mad if she killed off K'val! Syl/K'val forever, and how can there be any S/K if he's dead?!

i'll stop reading if k'val dies. period. i don't care how good they are, i need him there and i won't like the series half as much without MY bishie.

Ain't a'gonna happen. Pearl's only bringing K'val down so she can raise him up again. He's like her favorite character. No way is she just going to kill him off.

hes so much tougher than that. hes going to wake up in blood and thunder and tell Syl to bite off and then hes gonna get evertyhing together and go rock some ass.

i hate syl. its all her fault. i think she should get killed in the next book because shes so bad for ewverybody i dont know why they let her get away withall of it.

Oh, no. Nonononono. Seriously, she CAN'T DO THAT. K'val has suffered WAY too much already - Pearl can't just kill him off! He's my favourite character (well, after Artos) and if he dies, I'm seriously going to consider just stopping reading.

...Or at least going on a K'valfic reading binge.

...Which is why Learning to Fly needs more fic authors. I know that the books are hard to find (I thought I was hallucinating when I actually saw Walking the Razor's Edge in a bookshop), but there are just so many possibilities!

Uh-uh, NO WAY. Don't kill K'val after all he's already gone through!

Besides, he has so many fans. I hope Ms. Fatima realizes that if she kills K'val off she might lose a good portion of her fanbase.
