Genre: Action-Adventure

Setting: Nile region

Plot: 1. An Egyptian boy ventures into an unknown temple belonging to the gods of Egypt. He discovers the amulet of Osiris, King of the Underworld. Years later, after keeping his discovery a secret, he is forced to use it in the heat of battle. Upon using its powers, the gods descend onto Earth bearing the army of _____.

2. A Nubian prince is lured into asking Egyptian gods for strength during battle. The Nubian god, Amun, will not give him the power to kill his fellow man upon request. Ra or Horus sends an army to Earth to aid the begging prince. The army obliterates his enemies, but Ra(or Horus) commands him to kill Amun to keep possession of the army and his life in return. He does this but is then tricked by Ra. He begins a long journey throughout Kush and worlds led by the gods to get revenge. He coincidentally has to use the power of Amun. (similar to God of War)

Iite..so this is what I have so far...just to set the story up.

I did some researching and I keep changing my mind as to what period I want to draw from. This is an extremely difficult time to write about....I'll figure it out as a write it.

Amun chief deity of the Kush and god of life can fight an otherwordly battle against Aten-Ra-Horus (or all 3 spereately/just Aten) who is suppressing his people (Kushites or people of Nubian region in general).

The boy is chosen by Amun to be his vessel and gives him the ___ (object) that allows him to call upon Amun's power down into an earthly form.

I haven't really fleshed this out yet since this is an extremely difficult part of history to go on about without mixing a lot of gods and deities that have no business being with each other. Also, a really interesting this is that Tutankhamen was the next Pharaoh after the fall of Aten at 9-10 years old. However, Tut wasn't Kush and didn't rule Kush..so I'm searching through Kush pharaohs that could fit the bill.

Alara is a possible candidate.

K so this is getting better and better..
Pharaoh Amenhotep IV, better known under the name he adopted, Akhenaten, apparently started Atenism which is the worship of the local sun deity Aten. It started as just Aten being raised to the status of Supreme Deity. However, after few years, he begins to grow the religion, making Aten a High God on the level with or above Pharaohs. Soon, Aten is not just a Supreme God (god over other gods) but the ONLY god. Amun's temples were then ordered to be defaced/destroyed. The Pharaoh became erratic and began to ignore the problems of his kingdom, plague, threats, warring..etc..etc..

It's also pretty shady that his brother, Thutmose was killed extremely late in their father's lifetime, and Amenhotep IV inherited the throne.

He was also removed from official Egyptian records of Pharaohs...Hell yeah...This is my shit. i got it..I'll write it now xD
The thing about it is..the Kush Kingdom started AFTER these historical events. Egypt had expanded down into Nubia, and used it as its gold capital. But as Egypt was thrown into chaos by a number of pharaohs (Ramses 5-10 or something) and the Nubians overthrew the government controlling them..But it wasn't until a few centuries later that they were actually unifed under the name Kush.

I'm guessing the walls were kinda high at the Nubian cities. The sand covers a lot so it's hard to tell what was what.

Yeah. alot of the temples are decadent now too. But back when they were built, they were pretty immense. I mean, these were places that Romans marveled at, so we can really take liberties here and make them unrealistically large/grand.

Alright..so what I'm gonna work on is finding some information on how temples were built, what they looked like, layouts, etc..

You should probably find some info on what Egyptians wore.

Slavery

Some Egyptians were sold into slavery because of debts or sold themselves to escape poverty. As indentured slaves they did not lose all their civil rights; and sometimes the economic security they gained through their new status might seem to be worth giving up some freedoms for.
A remnant of these customs is seen in the demotic contracts concerning security, where grasping the hand refers to the warrantor's hand being held by the creditor symbolizing the debtor giving the creditor power over his person. Debt slavery was abolished in the Late Dynastic Period.

It has been proposed that the vizier had the right to impose perpetual forced labour on a convicted criminal, which would put him in a position of virtual slavery.

While there had been slaves in Egypt since the beginning of its history, their numbers greatly increased during the New Kingdom, when the pharaohs were committed to a policy of foreign involvement and conquests in Nubia, Canaan and Syria brought in many prisoners of war, seqer-ankh, who were enslaved, at times branded with the sign ki
