Moving On, New game

Alright, so time and time again this subject has been brought up. Spanning back almost 2 years starting in Nov 2005, we've been looking for other games to go into. Unfortunately, this is kind of hard since most people who game (or want to) hard-core in this clan have below avg PCs. Then the lack of organization, cooperation, commitment, time, money, etc..I'm honestly going to try to push a new clan into CoD4 and QW. I know damn well it won't be called the Knights of Mana but I could always associate with you guys. But, if you guys want to push into a game, select one and make a drive to get into it. You need a couple things first tho:
1. A competent leader - You need someone in that game/division who is capable of directing a large number of people efficiently. Leadership isn't determined by skill in a game but the respect one gains from peers and the ability to step up and lead those peers in the right direction.
2. A Starting force - You need some people either from the existing KoM, friends you may have, or online e-pals to help you get this off the ground. It's always good to start a clan with a solid 5-6 man team. I don't think many competent folks wil join ur clan if u join randoms servers spamming "KoM IS NOW RECRUITING" More so, if a couple people are in your server, I'm sure more people will connect interested in joining your clan which brings me too...
3. GAMESPACE - Always good to start out with personal space in a game. For WoW, a guild, for CoD4, a server, etc..You an advertise with the name of it, motd, and other things, plus its a lot easier to give your players somewhere to play and commute other than a public server. That's how KoM started, and that's how it ended too.
4. The Eye of the Tiger - THE FIRE, WILL, AND DETERMINATION TO PULL THROUGH ALL OBSTACLES STANDING IN YOUR WAY. MAKE THE KNIGHTS A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH, MAKE THEM THE TEAM TO BEAT. MAKE THEM UNSTOPPABLE, MAKE THEM UNBEATABLE, MAKE THEM.........

When you choose a game, it's good to have all of these lined up so your clan will be efficient and strong. Also...when you choose a game, figure out WTH you want your clan to do. if it's just for BS fun, make it that way. Ranks and forum, along with a server is usually good. But if you're going for competition, LADDER and Tourny play, then be serious. Practices, no ranks (garbage), a good sever centrally located and probably passed, and a capable squad of people.
