Hi there!, Newbie

Hey there!
My name is Alvin and since My mom told me not to tell my exact age I will tell you that I am between 14 and 16 I have a confession to make; I am, or was a serious Trekie but I have recently converted to Star wars so you will have to be patiant with me cause i'm still learning. I also have never joined and fan club or done any forums before so I really have a lot to learn. I find Star wars to be so much more interesting than star trek mostly because of the jedi I mean how awsome are they?! I have heard that it is possible to make a lightsaber using lasers but that sounds pretty impossible to me cause wouldn't that like kill both people if you used lasers? Anyway i'm looking foward to talking to all of you and learning all that I can.

Did ya notice how similar our username's are? I mean the wannabe and all. LOL Well I guess I'm a newbie too although not to star wars just to this forum but then again it looks pretty new. I'm glad that that your a reformed Trekie. I hate star Trek myself but star wars Rocks! To answer your question about lightsabers ya i heard too that ya could make them by using lasers but I just don't see how it is possible. I mean you would have to end up killing each other! It just don't make any sense. My name is Tod by the way It just occured to me that I failed to mention it. And I am allowed to tell me age; at least my mom never told me that I couldn't. I'm 15 1/2. I was so happy to find this site although don't ask me how I did it! I get so tired of all the fan sites that are targeted toward mandalorian fans or storm trooper fans Ya know what I mean?

Hey guys! It looks like I'm the only girl on this website. I'll try not to be intimidated! My name is Hanna and I am 14 years old (I'll be 15 this summer) so in addition to being the only girl I am also the youngest. I am so glad that I stumbled onto this website. I am a huge star wars fan; although most of the stuff I know comes from the movies. LOL I am really looking foward to getting to know you all more and to learning a lot about star wars.
