Hey all!

As most of you know, Into Narnia has had a lack of activity for quite some time. The staff here has been pretty busy with Real Life and other commitments, and have not been able to dedicate as much activity to this wonderful community as we would have liked. Lately, people have been wondering if this site would ever be active again, and the staff decided it was time to answer that question once and for all, to avoid leaving people hanging.

So unfortunately, we are going to officially close Into Narnia. This was a very difficult decision! Into Narnia has been around since February of 2008, when Jordan created it here. We have had our ups and downs in activity since that time, but I know I have truly enjoyed my time spent with this community. The members here, both those who still check in from time to time and those who are long gone, have all contributed to making this a site that was completely worth all the effort it took to run.

Unfortunately, life has changed for many of us on staff since we first joined the site. I personally have graduated college, and taken on a full time job in a new city. On top of that, I begin grad school in about a week. Running a site takes a lot of time to do properly, and I don't think I can give Into Narnia the TLC it needs to thrive. As none of the other staff members can either, for various reasons, we have decided to close the site. I know some of you would have liked to continue the site elsewhere. While we are glad that you are that attached to this RP, if new people take over, this site really wouldn't be Into Narnia anymore, so it's really just best if we say goodbye completely.

That said, I would love to stay in contact with you! So if you have read this far, I would love it if you replied to this thread with your contact information. Feel free to list any other sites you are currently a member of, too! While I have turned off guest posting, members are still free to advertise their sites in the advertising forum, and mention them here and in the Chatango. Speaking of the Chatango, I will be leaving that on in case people want to pop by and chat sometimes. It will not be monitored, but I am often logged onto Chatango even if I'm not on this site, so feel free to private message me if you want me to take care of spam or inappropriate messages.

Thank you once again for all your contributions to Into Narnia! I will miss you all, but hope to RP with you elsewhere in the future.
