history: please try to include 4-5 well written paragraphs. note that a paragraph often consists of 5-7 sentences minimum. if you have shorter paragraphs, you’ll need to have more of them. the focus however isn’t on quantity, but quality. try to be concise and articulate. one of the best ways to do history is to make yourself a little outline, possibly breaking it down into ‘pre-birth’ (optional, it’s to give the reader an idea of what sort of family situation your character has been born into), ‘infancy’ (so from when they’re born until they’re maybe two or three years old), ‘childhood’ (two or three years old until ten or twelve), ‘teenage years’ (from ten/twelve to either where they are now, or until eighteen or nineteen) and ‘adult’ (end of teen, till present). not all of those options might apply to you. they do not each need to be a separate paragraph and some of those sections might take up more than one paragraph. it’s just to get your thought process going and have a solid idea of what happened to your characters and when.
