COMMONER’S FEAST
In an attempt to show the common people that Caspian is a king for all Narnians and Telmarines alike and not solely the nobles as his usurping uncle was, Caspian has taken the advice of his advisors and friends and a feast open to all has been arranged.

All are welcome to participate – humans, talking beasts, Narnians and Telmarines, nobility and the poor.

This is Narnia.

Once a unique land, filled with Talking Animals and majestic mythical creatures, now a human country struggling to return to its roots. This is Narnia, where the names of High King Peter, Queen Susan, King Edmund and Queen Lucy were once known and spoken with reverence. Now, finally accepted as truth once again, they are heard whispered among those who had seen them fight alongside their new King. This is Narnia, once a peaceful and prosperous nation, now a country finally free from the tyranny of the Telmarines, and yet struggling to rebuild and restructure after a trying and difficult civil war.

King Caspian, along with Narnia’s varied inhabitants, are working to rebuilt and restructure in order to return Narnia to its ancient glory. However, all is not idyllic in the war-torn country. Some of Miraz’s loyal subjects have remained behind, biding their time until they might avenge their king’s death. There are rumours that Miraz’s son, Caspian’s infant cousin, is hidden away and in the care of those who would wish to see him take the throne from the new king.

With so much at stake in these early days after a devastating civil war, Caspian must step lightly to avoid trouble. Surrounded by advisors, and with the good of Narnia in mind, there is much to be done to make this nation great again. Though the war has been won, with such uncertainty, anything is possible.

Where will you be in the aftermath of the war? Which side will you choose?
Then get out of your chair, and just step through the door right

Note: While we encourage you to read the Narnia books by C.S. Lewis or to see the movies, you do not need to have done so to participate in this RP. However, if you have not done either, we strongly suggest you at least read the "Plot Summary" in the Wikipedia entry for Prince Caspian (This RP is based directly after that story). It may also be helpful for you to look over the Wikipedia entry for Narnia, the world in which this RP takes place.

Note 2: You may have noticed from our Canon List that we also encourage Archenlanders and Calormenes.  Such characters may be quite interested in the aftermath of the Narnian war, or may be too wrapped up in their own affairs in their own country to care about the country to the North.  We currently have no site-wide plot for Archenland or Calormen, so if you're playing a character who resides in one of these countries, you are completely free to come up with your own plans and plots without being constrained by canon!
