Welcome Dane University, an Ivy league school located minutes from the capital of the United States, Washington DC, a city that houses some of the most influential and powerful people in the world- People whom students at Dane University not only want to be, but also are expected to become. These students are a part of the elite, academically and socially. But the competition is tough and you never know who you can or cannot trust. Some of these students will kill to get what they want. Literally.

Only a year after the mysterious death of student Oliver LeBevon, another student at Dane University is dead. Charles Cleaver, a rising junior, was found dead in his dorm on the first day of class, leaving behind a suicide note where he seemed to take responsibility for the death of Oliver LeBevon.

This has left the Dane University students and staff in shock once again. But there are those who believe that there's more to this whole ordeal than meets the eye- especially the few students who possess important information that would make anyone think twice about closing this case. These students are looking further into the lingering mystery surrounding the two deaths. The question, however, remains: Is it better to share this information or keep it hidden until it's needed --- and what the consequences will be?

In a world where everyone is their own best friend, no one is safe.

In the end of the school year 09/10, Oliver LeBevon was found dead from an overdose. But due to the fact that he was a young, healthy man or maybe that he had more enemies than Satan himself no one seems to quite believe that there aren’t dark secrets hidden in the mystery concerning his death.

Since his death it been rumored that Oliver was a member of the Sons of Silence – a secret society for the crème de la crème of Dane University. Many theories say that his death might have had something to do with the Sons of Silence’s decade long fight with Kaos, another secret society at Dane University. Even though no one can prove it the war between the SOS and Kaos has increased dramatically to levels where people actually fear for their lives – with good reason: most members of these secret societies will do anything to keep their secrets safe.

After a summer vacation that made many reconsider their wants and needs, and the things they will need to sacrifice to get where they want to go in life, students are now back at Dane University. Some are trying to put the past behind them and get a fresh start: but everyone knows that dark secrets are hidden in every corner of the school and some people are dying to find out the truth. They don’t know what they’re getting themselves into. Are they ready to hear the truth? Are you?

My last advice before you start classes this semester? Be your own best friend – because that’s what everyone else will be.
