The sun was shining, birds were singing, and Q couldn't think of anywhere he'd rather be than out enjoying it. He'd been shut up in his apartment all day, studying. Some days it felt like such a waste of time, after all, it didn't really much matter how he did in school, his future was secure, but he didn't want to disppoint his parents or the Theron name. He sighed as the thought about the future. In a way he was a little envious of his classmates, they had so many choices laid out before them as to the direction their lives would go, but not him. No, Q new exactly how his life would pan out. He'd graduate with a masters degree in Journalism, perhaps travel for a few years, before returning to Chicago where he would be given a senior management position at Theron Everett Publications Incorporated (TEPI), a fortune 500 company started by his grandfathers and run today by his parents. After a few years to learn the business from the inside, his parents would step aside and Q would be CEO and the whole company would be his... It was daunting for sure, but that would be Q's life.
Giving in to the temptation of the sun streaming through his window Q grabbed his camera and headed out. He didn't really know where he was going, just walking aimlessly, but smiled as he approached the park. He lifted his camera taking random shots of things that caught his eye. Journalism was his birthright, but photography was his true love. He loved being able to take something mundane and with the right perspective make it beautiful or exciting... but it would only ever be a hobby, something he'd had to accept along his road. Q was lost in his thoughts when a young boy and his dog took off past him, almost making him fall. He couldn't help but chuckle and snapped a photo of the dog walking the small boy by the pond, knowing without even looking at it that in black and white that was going to be a great photo. Quinn stopped to take in his surroundings and paused as his eyes found a beautiful blonde sitting on a park bench. Arianna Prescott. He'd been given a job to do the year before by SOS, befriend her, find out what she knows... All he knew at the end of that exercise was that she knew too much, and he couldn't stop thinking about her.
He'd been avoiding her on purpose for months now, it was easier than any alternative Quinn could think of. Quinn didn't date, it was as simple as that, and even if he did, he'd never date the sister of one of his SOS brothers (even if it was only Jake...). Arianna however made him want to break his rules... so just pretending the gorgeous blonde didn't even make it onto his radar was definitely easiest... why then, he wondered a little to late, were his feet subconsciously moving him to stand in front of her. She looked so beautiful his breath caught for a moment before he took a calming breath, his player facade falling into place. He lifted his camera, snapping a photo of her, "It wouldn't kill you to leave the books at home and just enjoy the sun you know Arianna," he said, his tone slightly condescending as he smirked down at her. She always brought out this side of him, made him act like an ass, but better she hate him than know the truth, that she'd got under his skin and he had no idea how to get her out.
