Reggie Boi: damn, mami. Talkin rough to me like dat gets me hawd.
When Kye needed a friend, he knew Ansley would be the one to come through for him and roll over to his crib to entertain him for a couple of hours. The two just engaged into small talk, shared a few laughs, and watched TV together. It was all innocent as far as he was concern. Besides, this was his homeboy’s girl, so he knew not to push up on her like that. ”Big cheeks ass.” He poked her cheeks teasingly.
Laughing lightly, Kye stood up to his feet and made his way into the bathroom for a quick piss. Once he finished and washed his hands, he moved into the kitchen to grab two wine coolers before returning back out onto the couch, handing one of the bottles over to her. ”If you wanted something stronger than that, you can always go and help yourself out.” He said, motioning his head towards the kitchen.
With Iverson out and about lately, Ansley found herself hanging out with Kye a lot more. They had been friends for quite some time now and it surprised her that Ivy was okay with them hanging out. She sat on his couch with a bag of popcorn in her lap, digging out handfuls every five seconds. "Oh shut up," she said, giggling as he poked at her cheeks. "You know I'm a pig. Leave me alone." Ansley continued to eat her popcorn when Kye left the room and by the time he was back, she was finished. She eyed the wine coolers in his hands and graciously accepted the one he handed to her. She wasted no time opening it up and taking a long sip. "You got me at 'stronger'," she said with a smile, standing to her feet and venturing into the kitchen. Unfortunately, she forgot where he had everything and she sighed. "Aye Kye!" she yelled, hopping up on the counter and crossing her legs. "Come mix me some strong shit. Must’ve been some sort of blessing for his disorder to nt have played any role in the evening he was sharing with Ansley. He wasn’t sure if ivy told her or not about his bipolar disorder, but in case he hasn’t, Kye wouldn’t mind telling her for himself. ”You know I’m just fuckin’ with you.” He opened the wine cooler and took a long swig out of the bottle. The small amount of alcohol in the wine cooler was enough for him to handle without getting intoxicated. But, knowing Ansley, she might want to take it to the extreme and make him do something he's never done before.
And he called it right.
Standing to his feet, he moved into the kitchen, wine cooler in his hand, gesturing his head towards the cabinet behind her. ”Everything you need is right behind you in the cabinet. That’s where I keep all the strong drinks.”
"Na Kye, I said I want you to mix me something," Ansley said with a sly grin. She took another swig of her wine cooler before sitting it down beside her on the counter and watching him carefully. Even though she had Iverson, there was something about Kye that made Ansley want to go back to her old ways. No one would ever beat Ivy as far as looks went but she had a feeling that Kye could do some freaky shit in the bedroom. Shaking the thought out of her head, she slid down off the counter and folded her arms over her chest. "So.. are you going to or not?" ”Why must I always be the one to do something?” He asked in a complaining tone of voice, not really expecting much of an answer since he was going to do it anyway. He set his bottle down onto the counter, opening the cabinet to take out a couple bottles and proceeded into mixing some of the drinks with the wine cooler. He didn’t have the slightest idea on what he was doing, but he was hoping it would equal up to her expectation of “strong”. Once he was done, he moved over to hand the drink over to her to try first. If she liked it, then he’d take a sip of it. ”Try that.”
Ansley rolled her eyes playfully at Kye's comment and shrugged. "I guess because we're at your place. I'm sure if we were at my house, I'd be doing everything for you and Ivy." She knew he was going to do it anyway so her answer didn't really matter. Finishing off her wine cooler, she sat the bottle to the side and watched with interest as Kye mixed several different types of drinks. He didn't look like he knew what he was doing at all and that alone surprised her. Once it was placed in front of her, she turned her nose up but decided to try it anyway. The liquor burned her throat and she almost gagged, quickly covering her mouth as she began to cough. "Oh my god," she groaned, shaking her head. "Kye, that was awful." Pushing the drink away, she stood to her feet and walked over to where he was. She got cranberry juice out of the refrigerator and found something strong to mix it with. Tasting it, she nodded in approval before handing it to him. "Here, now you try this. ”That’s how it is? I got you.” That must be how the rules were played when it came down to having guests come over people’s crib. Usually, if Kye trusted them enough, he just allowed them to do whatever without his permission. Ansley was one of those people, but if she wanted him to do it, he will. No problem. He watched her take a sip of it and brought out laughing at the results. ”That’s why I told you to do it yourself.” He replied, slowly calming down from his laughter. Once she moved out of the seat, Kye sat down and took her seat watching her carefully as she did her own mixing of alcohols. When came over to hand him the drink, he took a cautious sip out of it. Wanting to play around, he started to gag and do a fake cough but he couldn’t hold in the laughter long enough to be serious. ”Surprisingly, it tastes real good.” He spoke seriously, taking another sip out of it and handing it towards her. ”Make me my own. I don’t like sharing too much.”
A frown crossed over Ansley's face when Kye began to laugh at her. The drink he made really was disgusting and she ought to make him try it for himself. "Oh shut up. If you tasted it, you'd probably gag too. Shit was horrible." She wasn't normally one to mix drinks but she had to admit: hers tasted amazing. She watched with interest as Kye took a sip of the one she mixed and pretended it was nasty. Before she could say anything, he told her it was good and for her to make him his own. "You're a little punk bitch, do you know that? How hard is it to share? And since when do you drink mixed drinks like that anyways?" Shaking her head, Ansley took the drink from him and took a long sip before she began making him one. When he wasn't looking, she slipped a little extra alcohol in his and handed it over to him once she was finished. Lowkey, he was taking some notes when he saw her mixing up the drinks. He wanted to remember that for the next time she – or someone else – asks him to mix up some alcohol. But hell, if they wanted something good mixed up, they needed to go to a professional bartender for all of that. ”I don’t know your rusty ass lips been. I don’t like sharing. Is that crime now?” He looked over with a serious face, though he was only joking around with her as always. His attention removed off of her to pull his phone out of his pocket and reading a recent text message that was sent to him. Deciding to reply back later, he slipped the phone back into his pockets and took the drink from her, taking a swig out of it. ”Thank you, Fat Cheeks. How’s you and Iverson going?”
"My lips are clean," Ansley told him with a serious face. "You just have to be difficult as hell." After handing him the drink, she watched as he drank it and smiled slightly. She never intended on getting drunk tonight but if Kye wanted to go down that path then she would gladly go with him. Taking another sip of her drink, she looked up at him and shrugged at his question. "We're good." Iverson was out with his friends tonight and she didn't particularly want to think about him right now. ”I think my sister told me that once. I think I should start being difficult more often. It’s quite fun.” He said taking another swig out of his cup. He had no idea about her putting more alcohol into this mix. Truthfully, he had no intentions on getting drunk tonight, but a sneaky Ansley might just end up fulfilling her goal into making him get intoxicated. No telling what may happen then. ”That’s it? Y’all are just “good”?” He shook his head with a light chuckle, taking another long swig out of his glass.
"Your sister ain't never lied," Ansley said with a chuckle. "It's actually annoying. But I like you so I guess I can put up with it for now." She watched as he sipped on the drink she made him and she smiled, knowing that they would both be drunk in no time. It had been a while for her so she knew it wouldn't take long at all. When he asked about her and Iverson again, she shrugged and took a sip of her own drink. "Yeah, we're good. Why are you so nosey?" Kye’s eyes narrowed at her reply. ”Don’t be agreeing with my sister.” He never did like when someone agreed with Honor, or his other sisters, over him; however, since he was real cool with Ansley, he wasn’t really tripping much about it. ”You better put up with it.” He took another long swig out of his drink. His face winced lightly at the burning sensation in his throat. Inhaling lightly, he stood to his feet and followed her behind her into the living room. ”I can’t ask how you and my homeboy doing? Dang. You act like you don’t want to talk about your own boyfriend.”
Giggling, Ansley took another sip of her drink and rolled her eyes. "Bitch, I'll agree with your sister if I wanna agree with her. I'll get Ivy on yo ass!" She watched as he continued to sip on his own drink and she shook her head. If he kept drinking what she made, he would be drunk in no time and then they could have some fun. Ansley plopped down on the couch in his living room and sucked her teeth at his question. She was tired of hearing about Iverson; he wasn't here right now and she just wanted to drink. "We're doing great, Kye!" she said in a happy, peppy tone. "He treats me like a queen and we're living together now. Is there anything else you'd like to know, nosy ass?" The moment “Bitch” slipped out of the lips of Ansley, his head snapped into her direction and his eyes beamed her down intensely. He hasn’t been taking his pills recently, and well, he was liable take offense and lash out without taking a second thought on it. Control it, control it Kye convinced himself in his mind, yet his mouth couldn’t hold back. ”I don’t give a fuck what you do, I’m not fucking worried about it.” He spoke with much hostility in his tone. He took another long swig out of his drink and rubbed his eyes as the alcohol was slowly starting to take effect. He knew this shit was going to happen. Even though that was only his first drink, there was no way in hell he should be drunk this fast. ”Is that really necessary?” He asked, implying to her sarcasm.
