Fraser Johansson33. returnee. michael fassbender.FULL NAME: Fraser Lucas Orian JohanssonNICKNAME: Rian (Ree-Ann)AGE: 33DATE OF BIRTH: August 22ndORIENTATION: Heterosexual (...but wavering)OCCUPATION: Domestic Airline Pilot; retired RAFSMOKES: OftenDRINKS: OftenDRUGS: RarelyHeight: 6ft2Build: Athletic, toned due to OCD training regimes that had been beaten into him at an early age.Hair: His hair is fairly changeable in colour (not magical of course that would be ridiculous, just... light reactive really)- its more often than not a non-de script brownish tone.Though in the sun its usually turns red-blonde, and can sometimes even darken to an auburn in the fall (a colour he's not all that fussed about really). His hair tends to be blonde with a blush to it anyhow, and is always well kept.Eyes: Seagreen, the sort that is tinged with blue and can become turbulent with mood swings.Skin: He doesn't seem to tan beyond his current skin tone, though his skin doesn't seem to burn either which is fairly odd. It's a soft blush tan that never really changes.Mods: N/aClothing: It varies, but everything is always ironed and folded and put away so everything he wears looks like its brand new. Something about the army or the airforce that instils this instinctive OCD where tidiness is concerned. He's always well turned out, preferring button shirts to t-shirts, and some form of chino or trouser to jeans. That's not to say that he doesn't own his fair share of jeans, he just feels more comfortable in something more resembling a uniform (I so nearly wrote unicorn...) PERSONALITYIndividual & Independent; Passionate & Analytical; Reserved & Inhibited; Gentle & Kind; Sensitive & Perfectionist; Deep & Subtle; Charismatic & Loyal; Pained & Even-tempered; Perfectionism. Everything around him has to be just perfect. He is one of those who prefer carrying the exact amount of change for the bread, rather than asking the shopkeeper for change. He is not much of a party animal, because he basically dislikes crowds. Fraser does indeed live in the real world, as many do you might say. He will neither daydream, nor wish on stars. One look at him and you will feel that he is overburdened with worries. However, worrying symbolizes his generalised trait profile. Infact, Fraser seems to be on the lookout for it. He is very conscious of his looks and he will spend hours in front of the mirror getting the crease on his trousers just right. Everything about him has to be perfect, right from the clothes to the after shave. He is a man who definitely has this peculiar habit of taking on more work than he can easily manage. Then, he strains himself beyond limits, often leading to frayed nerves. He may look pretty cool on the outside, but inside, he is usually extremely anxious. One thing you can be sure of while dealing with Fraser, however, is that he is totally dependable and sincere. He may lie once in a while, especially when he doesn't want to go somewhere or do something. However, the lie will more often than not be totally benign. He is highly critical of the people around him. Everything related to him, including his lover, has to go through his forever-analyzing eyes- which can be somewhat tiresome. It is almost like: put a foot wrong, and he'll judge you- when really, it isn't like that at all. He is very, very careful over most things, more obviously love as it happens. Its one of those tiresome protective mechanisms. He is finicky about cleanliness, cannot tolerate lazy behavior, hates procrastination and is never blind to flaws and faults, even of his loved ones. He is also quite particular about each and every detail. However, that does not mean Fraser does not have a humorous side. It's just that he hates impropriety, he also can't tolerate sloppiness. If such things are noticed, he becomes irritable and snappy. However, composure, patience, caring attitude and endurance define his true personality. He may criticize you for your faults, but if you are in trouble, he will be the first person to help you fix up everything. Don't mention his overly critical attitude in front of him, however; he will be the first one to deny it. He also seems to be totally blind to his own faults. He has this habit of not being able to sit in the same place for too long- becoming restless very easily. He expresses his love with subtleness. You wont see him shouting 'I Love You' from the rooftop. However, that doesn't mean he is less dedicated than any other man. He is just unable to express himself fully and he lacks that level of demonstrativeness. As much Fraser likes to help others, he finds it very difficult to accept favors. He likes to be self-dependent and hates obligations. He won't spend too much money on himself, but will be extravagant in case of his loved ones or for those who are in need. In such a case, don't waste the money or he will be hurt. As far a Fraser's critical nature is concerned, remember that it's just his nature. He was just born to notice even the slightest of faults. Infact, the person he is the most critical about, is actually himself. At the same time, he is very punctual and will not take lateness too lightly. To him, time is of extreme importance. He likes small, helpless creatures as much as he appreciates honesty, punctuality, savings, caution and vigilance. Fraser is the true individualist who has his own, secret way of making the heart memorize.HISTORY:= Born August 22nd to a family of three in Rådhuspladsen, Denmark to an Irish mother and a Danish father. Sian Johansson and Martyn Johansson had already had a son, Beckett, seven years previous- and Fraser was to be their second and only other child. He was born at home during a freak snow storm- well... actually, in the back of their ford fiesta.= The whole family moved to Doonbeg, a village in the west of County Clare in Ireland when Fraser turned 3 years old. His father, a naval architect, was posted to a base there to design an aircraft carrier- well... more a fleet of them really. His younger years passed by without so much as a hiccup really.= He started school at the age of 3 years old, and went all the way through until he was 18. At which point, he decided that education wasn't for him and he wanted to be in the airforce. Whether it was all of the influence from his father's line of work, there was no telling really, but he pursued a career in the RAF and started his training.= Though the training was hard, and somewhat repetitive- Fraser found the order and routine to be an environment he could thrive in. It appealed to many of his personality quirks which, due to circumstances that he couldn't control, would later turn into fairly debilitating OCD complexes.= Fraser had a girlfriend at the age of 18. He loved her dearly, and she him. She was his first sexual encounter, well... the first that actually meant anything to him. They stayed together for a good few years but the stress and strain of training, and the distance between them pulled them apart. What Fraser still doesn't know, is that the girl had a baby. His baby... whether or not the baby survived? Is up for debate. Fraser was never told.= At the age of 24 he finished his major training and began clocking airtime. It wouldn't be until the next year, just after his 25th birthday, that he would get the phonecall.= Iraq came as quite a shock, he was posted on a base in the UK a year before being shipped out and this was when he met Josh. Initially Josh pissed him off. Josh was a know it all, he was brash and sarcastic- but there was something about him that just made the two of them click. They became really close friends despite Josh being a helicopter pilot and Fraser a jet pilot.= Their relationship blossomed, more smouldered. Until, after one rather gruelling mission they were thrown together. After that, everything had changed. Fraser fell for Josh, Josh admitted the same and that was it. They were together- two men, on a base in the middle of the desert surrounded by hundreds of other men. Excruciating really- its a wonder how they managed to keep it all secret considering they were watched very closely.= They were to go out on one more mission over the warzone. The helicopter squadron was called, and Josh had to go with them. The Jet squadron that Fraser was a part of was to be scrambled just afterwards. Fraser was not overly happy about the situation, but had no one to confide in. They scrambled an hour after the helicopters had left.= After half an hour flight time, the radio call came in- one of the helicopters had been shot down. It was Josh's. That was it- Fraser very nearly lost control of the aircraft- it took his co-pilot taking command of the thing to bring them back safely. Fraser was reprimanded. He was taken to see counsellors galore, and in the end? They decided he needed time away.= Fraser never grieved, he was never really allowed to. His family had no idea he had been 'involved' with a man- heck even Fraser still wasn't sure what that meant, and he couldn't go to the funeral as Josh's boyfriend- it was to be just as his colleague. The whole situation became messier and messier... and it did his psyche no good. His OCDs started to come out of the woodwork- though at the time his impeccable cleanliness and need for order actually helped him.= He went back into the RAF to serve after a 9 month leave of absence.= Fraser's brother got married when Fraser was 27, Beckett's to be wife was already pregnant with their first child. He would become an uncle again at the age of 33, to a nephew.= Fraser left the RAF when he was 28 years old, his return didn't last that long. The RAF held too many bad memories and had become more of a negative thing in his life. He therefore left, and retrained as a domestic airline pilot and moved to the USA. For someone who now hates flying and can't go up without having had at least a measure of whiskey- not really a great career choice.= He came to Ashwick, having flown internal flights for a couple of years- he decided to settle in the small town, away from anything he knew and away from his doting family. He still suffers nightmares despite the change.LIKES:single malt whiskey - sleep - old paper - walking - oatcakes - sauerkraut - crystal tumblers - leather soled shoes - closeness - cigars - sobranie cigarettes - basil - lemon - duck down bedding - dogs - cats - his bike - flying - cooking - film noire - piano music - classical guitar - fresh plum tomato - fish - the smell of tar - sun - take-off - paper from the copier - background noise - darkness - books - smell of old leather - wind through the trees - swimming - sailing - pale sand - doodling - contactDISLIKES:feeling lost - flying - poor quality whiskeys - stale biscuits - mud - smell of burning rubber- silence - being on his own with his thoughts - arguments - internal struggles - arrogance - unkindness - losing people - over ripe fruit - toffee - sweeteners - red meat - romance novels - helicopters - horses - metallic tastes - bruises - dog-eared pages - recycled writing paper - fountain pens - blue ink - scuffs on shoes - rain - nightmares - cold sweats - getting hurt - that first conversationAna.
