Reggie Boi: damn, mami. Talkin rough to me like dat gets me hawd.
AJ was one of the coolest girls that Robbie had met in town. She'd come over the night before for cheesy slasher flicks, sitting on his bed with him, watching his flatscreen in his room. It was kind of fun, kind of a date, he supposed, even if they didn't fool around much. Things felt so easy and fun with her, like she was more of a cool friend than a girl that he wanted to date. She was tired, so he lent her a pair of gym shorts, and a t-shirt to sleep in. They'd stayed in the same bed, but he hadn't made a real move, besides putting his arm around her. Robbie didn't rush stuff like that.He woke up kind of early, and didn't want to disturb AJ, but he had to pee. He slipped out from beneath the covers and padded softly to the hallway bathroom, trying to keep quiet on the creaky floors.
AJ had absolutely no issue with sharing a bed with someone. It was platonic, she'd been too tired to drive home and she needed somewhere to stay. Of course, this half date, or whatever it was, had been bribed. AJ couldn't deny that she'd have said yes without the bribery, though, she really had enjoyed their previous conversation, however strange their meeting and however weird such a thing was. She woke up the moment that Robbie got out of bed, realising where she was and that she was wearing one of his shirts. She'd forgone the gym shorts, sleeping in only a shirt at home most of the time anyway. Hell, she'd found she hadn't even been bothered by the arm that had been wrapped around her most of the night, though it was definitely a new feeling.Getting up the moment that he had she stretched "mind if I get a drink?" she asked, waiting for the ok before padding towards the kitchen as quietly as possible. She'd found one of the creaky floorboards last night and stepped over it, unfortunately hitting a second in the process.
Malcolm didn't want to move. If he moved and got out of bed, then he might be faced with the cold reality of what he'd done the night before, and with whom. It was something he'd done as a young child - lay in bed, pull the covers high, and refuse to face the problems that the morning brought. Unfortunately, being an adult had changed that luxury for him - but he could pretend, for a few minutes. He sighed and sat up rubbing the back of his neck. He swung his legs over the side of the bed, and pulled a pair of boxers, and his shirt from the night before on. He wasn't sure if Robbie was home, but he didn't walk around nude, even if he was absolutely alone. Sighing again, he stood up, heading for the door. The coffee machine was beeping in the kitchen, beckoning his caffiene-addicted brain. He opened the bedroom door, heading out into the hallway toward the kitchen.
Evie groaned as Malcolm rose and got up from the bed, her own body falling onto the bed. She opened her eyes and looked up at him with a small scowl, groaning again and pulling the blankets over her head. Her dress was somewhere over the other side of the room and it definitely wasn't the best thing to wear at this time of morning. She heard his footsteps leave the room and she groaned again, sliding out of the bed and pulled her underwear on, deciding that she sure as hell wasn't going to try and shove the dress on. She moved towards one of Malcolm's drawers and took one of his shirts, pulling it over her head and moving towards the kitchen where she heard some noise. Unlike AJ, who looked almost zombie like in the morning, Evie's hair, although messy, fell quite decently and she seemed to wake up the moment she got up. Her eyes fell on Malcolm and she moved towards him, rubbing her eyes a little.-----AJ was in the kitchen as Malcolm headed in and she looked up, hair falling all over the place and suddenly realising that she was dressed in nothing but one of Robbie's shirts. "Ahh.... Morning?" she said, the words coming out as more of a question than a statement.
He flushed the toilet and was washing his hands when he heard the coffee machine go off. Like clockwork, Malcolm's heavy step headed to the kitchen, going for the coffee that he needed. At least his roommate wasn't in jail. That would really have put a damper on Robbie's morning. He dried off and swished some mouthwash, wanting to be fresh, in case AJ got close to him.Shit.AJ was heading to the kitchen. He left the bathroom and headed to the kitchen, stepping lightly. He wasn't expecting to see Malcolm and AJ joined by some little black-haired chick."Morning." Malcolm looked from Robbie, and back to AJ, and then back to Robbie, eyebrows raised."Holy shit, are you underaged chick?" Robbie clapped his hands to his mouth, wanting to fade into their lame kitchen wallpaper. Fuck.
"Evie Talking""AJ Talking"AJ looked up as Robbie entered the kitchen, his hand clamped over his mouth. She laughed a little bit, looking at Evie, and tilted her head to the side a little. "Morning, last tattoo heal up alright?" she asked, as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Of course, being a Sullivan, it was the most normal thing in the world. Waking up to random people coming out of the bedroom in other people's clothes was almost a must at Sullivan parties. "Pretty well, just getting use to the corset now" Evie said, turning her attention to Robbie to answer his question."Maybe I am or maybe I'm not but judging by the looks of things you got laid last night" she wanted to throw him off guard and make him as uncomfortable as she was feeling. She slid into Malcolm's side, wrapping her arm around his waist, subconsciously seeking out the comfort that she'd felt from him the previous evening.
"Robert""Malcolm."Robbie didn't know how to respond. "Hey." He stammered, embarrassed. He looked up at Malcolm. "I didn't know you made it home last night.""I didn't know that you were even home last night." Malcolm turned to AJ. "Hi, I'm Malcolm." He extended a hand sleepily, and then turned to get himself a cup of coffee. He needed something to deal with all this."AJ and I watched movies. AJ, this is my roommate. And this is all sufficiently awkward now." He looked back at Evie, and back to Malcolm, still completely stunned by the situation.Malcolm cleared his throat. "Can we make omelets or something."
AJ was pretty relaxed, for the most part, she wasn't uncomfortable but it was a rather awkward situation. "AJ" she said, shaking the man's hand and then taking a seat at the table to watch the scene in front of her. She couldn't mention names but she was sure as hell going to recount this story to Cassie the moment that she got home and got online. It was going to be fucking hilarious. "Nope, this isn't awkward. You want awkward you should come to one of my family's backyard parties. When you see your Aunt and Uncle macking out, that's awkward"."And coffee. I need some coffee" Evie said, almost as if she lived in the place. She was awkward, feeling a little uncomfortable, but she was sure as hell going to pretend she wasn't, even if her grip on Malcolm gave it away.
"Coffee. Right, babe. Malcolm grabbed her a cup and handed it to her, trying to make her feel a little less awkward. "There's creamer in the fridge, we have a few flavors."Robbie sighed, and went to the fridge to grab the eggs. He was a better cook when it came to breakfast foods. At least AJ seemed in her element, or at least good humored about it. "What does everyone take with their eggs?" He asked, grabbing a non-stick pan from the cupboard.Malcolm sat at the table. "So. AJ. How long you and Culpepper been a thing?" He grinned wickedly, knowing that he was trolling a bit. He saw Robbie's back stiffen, self-conscious.
Evie took the cup and went straight to the fridge to occupy herself, ducking down as Robbie took the eggs from the fridge and then standing up again. She set herself at the table, pulling her legs onto the chair, still somewhat uncomfortable. She had been fine with Malcolm but being thrown into a morning after situation, well she hadn't planned on that. She was slowly relaxing a little, though, and that was all that mattered she supposed."Tomato, Bacon, Cheese for me" AJ said, turning her attention to Malcolm "since he gave me a Panda Bunny I was sold" she said, wondering just how seriously he would take her. She smirked a little, watching the slight stiffening in Robbie's back.
Malcolm watched Evie's body language, finding himself concerned that she was so uncomfortable. He didn't want that to happen to her, didn't want her to feel bad about sleeping with him. He tried to smile at her, lighten her mood, let her know that things were okay."Got it." Robbie said, keeping himself busy whisking eggs."You know what I want, guy." He said, listening to AJ. "He gave you a bunny?" Malcolm looked around the kitchen, warily, expecting it to pop out at any moment. "Where'd you guys meet?" He reached under the table to touch Evie's knee, to reassure her that things were fine.
Evie slid her hand underneath the table to hold onto Malcolm's, letting him know that she was still not regretting actually spending the night with him. She felt a little bad that she was uncomfortable, but she definitely wasn't regretting being here, she had pushed for it after all. She took a sip of her coffee and watched the look on Malc's face as he looked around for the rabbit, smirking a little bit. She was starting to think that he was a little afraid of them.AJ smirked a little bit and pulled the tiny bunny out from her shirt, holding her up. She was smaller than the rest of the kittens, the runt of the litter, but that was why AJ liked her, well that and the panda situation. "Her name is panda" she said, making a few little kissy noises at the bunny.
As soon as the bunny came out, it was all over."Oh, what the fuck!!" Malcolm leaned back, away from the rabbit. Robbie turned, grinning, knowing that his roommate was completely terrified of the small mammals. "Why is it in your shirt?"Robbie snorted. "Malcolm's afraid of bunnies." He explained, trying to hold in more laughter. "Ugh, just. No. Not at the table, please." He started to breathe heavy, his nose making a high-pitched whine as he wheezed.Robbie walked over and petted Panda's ears. "You can put her back in the crate with her brothers and sisters, or in my room, or something?" He offered, a little apologetic that Malcolm was freaking out.
AJ had to laugh at the way that Malcolm seemed to completely freak out about the rabbit. She couldn't help herself, cradling the small thing close to her chest as she rose to her feet and went to put it back in the crate with her brothers and sisters. She knew which one was Panda given that her markings were different and she had a small blue bow on her head currently. She returned to the kitchen, washing her hands so that she could eat."The warmest part on the female body is the breasts, I kept her down there to ensure that she was warm" she said, shrugging her shoulders a little bit. Evie rolled her eyes at everyhting that was happening, confirmation that he was scared of rabbits, wasn't really something she needed, but it was good to know. She set herself in Malcolm's lap, stroking her hands through his hair.
Malcolm was just glad that the fucking rabbit was going away. He didn't know why he'd agreed to live with Robbie - probably because they'd been roommates in college, old friends, knew each other inside and out. Evie sat on his lap, playing with his hair. He liked that. "Mmmf." He closed his eyes, leaning his head back, meriting a stare from Robbie at the stove."Does... anyone want toast?" He offered, trying to ignore the big dog at the table, getting scratched. They'd have words later - words like Statutory, and Rape, and Arrested, and Lease. But that was later - Robbie would never reproach him like that in front of her, even if he was terrified by the prospect of felonies happening in the house. "Anyone. Bueller."
