"YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND"
The plane landed at the private airport and Sole felt a nudge on her shoulder making her slowly flutter her eyes open. She peeked out the window seeing nothing but darkness as it was only around maybe 8 for Honolulu and it was around 11 if they were still in Ashwick. Sole was super excited to spend a few days on the island with her beloved sister to celebrate their 25th birthday. That felt so weird to her because she didn’t feel 25 years old at all. She did keep her word as promised and they were finally here.
The journey was a 6 hour flight but she knew that once they hit the beach that they’d be having a grand time. Sole just wanted to let loose and not think about anything pertaining to work. She got up stretching and raised her arms above her head. She let out a yawn and covered her mouth grabbing her small LV duffle bag that sat on the side of the seat. “Come on sis. Let’s go have some fun.” She motioned with her hand and grabbed onto the rail going down the steps.
She pushed her sunglasses up from her face and felt the warm breeze brush against her skin. She took notice of her a black SUV pulled up and the driver get out helping them with their bags. Sole smiled thanking him and opened the back door letting Mardi slide in first. She got afterwards bouncing up and down in her seat. “This is going to be amazing!” She sang clapping her hands.
Sole pushed her hair behind her ear and pulled Mardi into a hug before letting her go just as the driver pulled off making his way to the hotel. She was fully awake and wouldn’t even know what to do first. However since it was late, she figured that there was nothing wrong with a few drinks and she knew she’d probably wouldn’t drink too much even if she was celebrating another year older with her sister. “What should we do first? Drinks and dancing or maybe a bonfire on the beach. We can go to a restaurant and stuff our faces with seafood or walk around.” She tossed out ideas feeling like she would never shut up. The driver pulled up the Royal Lahaina Resort in Maui near the beach and Sole opened the door leaving it open for Mardi making her way inside to check them both in.

mardi was ready for this day. it finally came, and she couldn't be any more happier. her and her sister made their trip to hawaii for their 25th birthday. 25th. it was still crazy for mardi to even say that her and her sister were 25. she didn't even think she would ever see herself making it to 25. she was truly blessed to actually see another year and lucky to be spending it with her twin. she tried to sleep through the ride, but she couldn't. she was too excited. as her sister slept, she was listening to music or talking to their flight attending or flirting with the pilot. she was all about having herself a good time from the beginning to the end.
she bounced in her seat, feeling the plan descending and knowing that they were getting ready to land. after six hours of sitting on her ass, she was ready to walk around, stretch and explore the island. fuck sleep, she could sleep later. she nudged her sister a bit, trying to get her to move around. a big smile plastered across her lips as the plane touched down and slowly coming to a stop. it was time to celebrate. she got up from her sister, stretching, sighing heavily. she grabbed her juicy overnight bag and purse before they got up the plane.
she ran her fingers through her hair, feeling that nice breeze come across her skin. it was nice, seeing a different type of scenery that wasn't ashwick. this was definitely needed. "i'm in hawaii bitches!" she shouted before climbing into the suv that was there for them. she looked over at her sister, bouncing up and down in her seat. it made her smile, knowing she felt the same way as she did at the moment. they were together again after what felt like a century. she laughed lightly as her sister wrapped her arms around her, giving her a hug. she sighed after sole had pulled away and rolling down her window. her eyes wandered, listening to sole ramble off on what should they do. mardi smirked, turning her attention back to her sister.
"food and drinks love, lots and lots of drinks. it's our first night, lets do it right!" she laughed, clapping her hands together. she felt the suv slow down and stopping in front of where they were staying. she slid across the seat after her sister got out and doing the same. she stepped out, her eyes amazed at what was in front of her. "holy shit." she muttered, grinning from ear to ear. "this place is fuckin' beautiful." she walked into the lobby, still looking around, knowing she was bumping into people not giving a shit. she was in awe at everything.

"You're My Best Friend"
She chuckled hearing her sister’s comments. Sole made her way up to the receptionist desk and smiled at the clerk behind the desk asking for her last name. “Moreno.” She tapped her fingers against the top of her desk waiting as she got her information pulled up. “The Two-bedroom Molikai suite?” The brown eyes of the clerk looked up. Sole nodded her head watching her get the keys and she could scream with excitement.
“Welcome to Hawaii and the Royal Lahaina Resort. Here are your cards and please enjoy your stay. The clerk placed the cards in Sole’s hand making her smile. The woman turned on her heel crossing her arms watching her sister admire the lobby. She chuckled softly seeing her bumping into other guests and waltzed over grabbing her by the wrist. Sole dragged her towards the elevator with the bell hop trailing behind them with their cart of luggage. Her manicured nail hit the button for their suite and the doors closed.
She watched the numbers go up as the elevator moved up each floor. The ride stopped and the ding could be heard. Sole watched the doors open and walked out still holding a tight latch on her sister’s wrist. She at each door until she finally came across the one that would be considered there’s. “Here you go.” Sole handed over the card to Mardi.
Sole smiled widely pushing the door open and walking inside taking in everything everything. “Damn, I did good” She said loudly once hitting the lights. She looked around admiring the room and the spacious king sized bed. She walked onto the patio and heard the waves from the ocean. “hey once it’s gets daylight, we can see the ocean from here. We can only hear for it now.” She turned to her sister enlightening her about the ocean view from the balcony. “Okay, come on. Let’s freshen up and get drinks.” Sole paid the bell hop and pulled her luggage onto the bed.
She wasted no time opening her luggage pulling out the Alexander McQueen dress and the brown sandals making her way into the bathroom. Sole freshened up and slide on her sandals and walked out of the bathroom pulling out her make-up bag re-doing her make-up. “I’m starving!” She snatched up the card hiking up her dress and racing down to the elevator. Sole slide in the back of the car and closed the door behind her asking the driver for any restaurant solutions as he whisked them away eventually pulling up at Sansei Seafood restaurant and sushi bar. She raked her fingers through her hair as the duo was guided to a table near a window and being given menus.

Mardi kept wandering around in the lobby, just amazed at how beautiful everything was. Ashwick definitely was dull and didn't have this much going on like this. She knew that she was pissing people off that she was running into them. She really didn't care. They weren't gonna see her face again. She stopped, looking up at the chandelier that hung from the ceiling. She was like a little kid in its favorite candy store.
She felt a hand wrapping around her wrist, dragging her off to the elevator. She smiled, finally catching it to go up to their room. She bounced in anticipation, already knowing that the room was going to be beautiful. She kept her eyes on the numbers reaching higher and higher. She smiled as it stopped, reaching to their floor and them stepping off. Mardi was still being dragged behind her sister as she still held onto her wrist.
She sighed, finally standing in front of their door. She chewed on her lip, waiting for the door to open. She took the key that her sister had for her before she opened the door. Mardi stepped in, shrieking in excitement at the suite that they had. She ran around, taking everything in. “Oh my fuckin' God! This is beautiful!” She beamed, finding the nice king size bed for herself. She knew that she was going to enjoy her stay in this hotel.
She smiled, making her way back to where her sister was. They had an ocean view. Her smile got bigger as she could hear the waves from the window. She nodded, letting herself get ready. She grabbed her luggage, making her way to the bed. She placed it on top of it, finding herself something comfortable to wear. She waited til her sister was done and got herself into the bathroom, getting all freshened up and getting herself dressed once again and slipping her feet into her sandals. She grabbed everything, checking out her make-up and pinning her hair up, leaving a few strands in the front. She finished up and they were off once again. They made their way to their car and she slid in behind her sister, closing the door.
She sighed, rolling down her window. She looked out, loving the scenery. She just wanted to take everything in at the moment and enjoy it all. Their ride was short, and she was stepping out and heading into the restaurant with her sister. They were guided to their table and seated with their menus placed in front of them. She smiled, looking around before reaching for her menu. “This is crazy, just...” She chuckled softly, shaking her head. “Just beautiful.” She looked over at her sister before looking back at the menu. “Wow...Everything sounds really good. I wanna try everything...Well not everything, but close to it.” She laughed lightly.

"You’re My Best Friend"
Watching the red head bounce around the room running around was definitely a hilarious scene. A chuckle escaped Sole’s lips seeing her sister take in everything. Hawaii was something that every girl should experience at least once in their lifetime. She remembered being here months prior shooting her first major movie out on the ocean. That was such a thrill and now she was here again with her sister just enjoying having another year to breathe.
She wasn’t too familiar with the restaurant that the driver suggested. The fact that it was a seafood restaurant and a sushi bar made everything better because at least they knew what they were going to be eating. Sole was just as excited as her sister was about this trip because she couldn’t remember the last time that she enjoyed a vacation with her. Her eyes followed Mardi watching her look around and comment on how everything was crazy. “Can you please act.... normal?” She questioned.
The poor woman was acting overly excited and it was completely weird. “Your excitement is creeping me out.” Sole commented laughing. It was the truth, she couldn’t recall a time where Mardi was this fucking excited over something. It was almost like she became her in a matter of seconds. Sole shook her head looking through the menu trying to figure out what to eat.
She started off with a caesar salad and ordered herself the pina passion served in a fresh pineapple featuring light rums, tropical juices and spices. “Do you know what kind of activities you want to do while we’re here?” Sole asked. She really didn’t plan out what they would do and figured they’d just look for various things to do together. The waitress came back with their drinks and Sole took a sip of hers. “Just try not to act too crazy.” She smirked picking up her fork.

Mardi knew that she was acting all types of crazy while sitting at the table. It was just surreal to her to be here at that moment. She knew that she had to be getting some kind of faces thrown in her direction. She didn't care at that moment, but she didn't want to embarrass her sister. She chewed on her lip, her eyes going across the menu. She looked at her sister, hearing her question. She laughed lightly, shaking her head.
“All right, all right. I'll calm it down a bit.” She smiled, throwing her a wink before returning her eyes back to the menu. She looked at her, going into a small fit of laughter again. “Hush. My excitement is NOT that bad.” She pouted before giving off a small smirk.
“I promised. I'll behave as much as possible.” She beamed, resting back in her seat, finally coming up on what she wanted to eat. She decided on a sushi platter and ordered herself a Blue Hawaiian. She licked her lips, placing her menu back on the table. Her eyes looked around before turning her attention back to her sister. She shrugged her shoulders. “I'm all about sightseeing and laying out in the sun. Maybe find myself a Hawaiian man to take home.” She smirked. She looked up at the waitress came back with their drinks, thanking her. She grabbed her straw before placing it in the glass.
She wrapped her lips around it, moaning softly. She licked her lips, her eyes on her drink. “That is so good.” She rolled her eyes before smirking. “I promise you I won't embarrass you. Scouts honor.”

"You’re My Best Friend"
Sole wasn't sure if she should be able to believe her sister. She was the wild one out of the two to begin with. Her eye brow rose in question thinking of if she was telling the truth or not. She sighed softly figuring she should just trust her. After all, she knew she wouldn't do anything to endanger the both of them anyway.
She picked up her fork beginning to eat her meal after she blew on it. The taste was off the chain and very flavorful that she had to moan to just get that out of the way. She listened as her sister went on to give her suggestions. Sole knew right off the bat that sightseeing would be absolutely amazing and fun. There had to be something adventurous for them to get into.
"We can definitely sight see." She made herself a mental note. Sole wanted to make the most of this experience. It was something she didn't get the chance to do since she was filming last time. She smirked hearing the mention of Hawaiian men. The men here were drop dead gorgeous to begin with. "Men? Hell yeah!" Sole shrieked in agreement.
She continued eating her food until she knew she was full enough."I know you won't babe but consider it a fair warning." She smiled. Sole asked for a box and eventually the check eager to get on with the rest of the night. She pulled out her wallet and shuffled through it getting her credit card waiting for her sister to finish up. "Ugh. Still can't believe we're here!" She beamed handing over the payment book to the waitress and taking a sharpie from a young book uncapping it to give her autograph on his paper.

She could tell by the look on her sister's face that she didn't believe her on behaving. She didn't want to embarrass her sister. So she was going to do her best to be on her best behavior. She laughed slightly, shaking her head. “i promise. I'll be good.” she smiled before grabbing her fork and started to enjoy her meal.
she couldn't believe how amazing the flavor of everything that was on her plate. She didn't ever want to leave this place. She sat in silence as she just went on to eat her meal. She licked her lips, grabbing her napkin wiping her mouth. It was still surreal to her that they were there in hawaii, enjoying their dinner. She smiled hearing her sister agree with her that sightseeing was a must. They had to. Mardi really didn't see herself doing it again, and if she did, it would be with her sister or a few friends.
she laughed at her sister's enthusiasm about the men. She was all about having herself a good time even if it was for one night. They didn't know her. This was the only life she gets, so she was going to do as much as she could. She licked her lips, latching them around her straw taking a drink.
“well I will take that fair warning in consideration.” she threw her a wink before going back to her food, taking a couple of more bites and placing the fork down. She was good to go for the rest of the night. Now, she was ready for more drinks in her sister and a night on the town. She asked for a box and went on to boxing her food. She sighed softly, raking her fingers through fiery locks. “I know, it's still crazy.” She smiled, pulling herself from the table. “so what is next sweetheart?”
