jared kane 19. bi. single. jared has been through a lot in his life. a lot of stuff, and he's come out with a hell of a lot of damage really. when he first began to surface among the folks of ashwick, he was a hard hearted, bitter and sarcastic guy who only managed to soften up when he got a girlfriend. now that his girlfriend has left him to go start a new life in new york, he only really has a few friends and is questioning whether or not he has feelings for his best friend, kodi. he's more charismatic- yet not so alive to the state that he was before everything went down. he's an artist, but by profession owns a vegan food store/ cafe.all in all, with a life like his, he had a choice. he could either become a complete sob story or harden himself up. he'd like to think he chose the latter, but because of the dramatic circumstances that hit him recently, people don't tend to associate him with such. he has honestly become a sob story, though admitting it is harder than any other task for him. he can be stubborn on such matters, and fancies himself as a strong individual. friends: always room for more of these. jared doesn't judge or anything, because of all the stuff he went through that he's quite tender about. 'red is a relaxing atmosphere, though he's known to be a pushover. enemies: he makes a few of these for having such strong opinion on things. he's not really one for violence (though some would argue), and normally he fights to protect those that he loves. lovers: of course, this is back open. he doesn't sleep around, ever. but when he's in a relationship he gives the other person the world, always the romantic. lexus bahe 21. bi. taken. this guy here is one of my more unpleasant character, in ways. he's very cocky and arrogant, and was once upon a time a manwhore. in fact, he still is. but just to the degree that now he flirts instead of sleeping around. you get the idea. you can take the kid out of the brothel, but you can never take the brothel out of the kid. since getting hitched and becoming a father, i guess he's become a little more judgmental. he isn't greatly close to many people in his family any more, and he's actually fairly wise though he goes about giving advice the wrong way. he's really just very vain though.lex could be described as.. an acquired taste. a lot of people find with him that to begin with he is utterly insufferable and they want to get as far away from him as possible. but he has a way of rubbing on people; which either makes him friends or enemies. for some folk, their hatred of him just gets bigger and bigger. whereas for others, such as his wife, over time they find themselves softening up to him and almost becoming immune to the nastier part of him.friends: aside from his best friend and a few others, he isn't really big on surrounding himself with masses of friends. he's hard to get along with, and quite proud of it. but even a bahe needs people around them, so people who are equally as strong and loud are welcomedenemies: he has a lot, and he doesn't care. he likes to argue, laugh at people. and so on and so forth. making an enemy of lex isn't hard- especially when he makes it so easy. lovers: tied up! although bri isn't his final, they're looking to have a second child so i doubt this will change any time soon. gray doherty 26. pans. taken. mr doherty is a very shouty person. in other words, he's loud and proud. everything is something that should be exaggerated and he's a big fan of having his voice heard. even if a lot of the time, he doesn't make too much sense.the big guy has lived around the area his whole life and was brought up by lovely parents who always encouraged him to be his own person. and ultimately, this has ended up with him being someone who openly expresses himself in a way that makes sure that nobody can ignore him. he has a thing for exclamations and remarks that tipple on the slightly insane side of the spectrum. nevertheless, he's a lovely person. very little bothers him really, because he doesn't really have an ability to take things to heart. he just likes to breeze through like 'WHATEVER, GRAY COMING THROUGH'. he works as a personal trainer, which suits him just fine because it burns off a lot of his neverending stream of energy, which he probably gets from consuming so much cereal.friends: he loooooves friends. it's sometimes hard to become close to gray and bond, because he's just such an out there kind of person that sometimes it just doesn't work to 'mesh' with him. kasabian astor 24. straight. taken. Sabey Sabey Sabey! As lovely as this guy is, he's an unbelievable piece of chaos really. It's the free spirit, always gets in the way of his serious endeavours. Despite having managed to get his head down enough to become a published author, he's still as erratic as ever, though I don't care to admit it much.Kasabian arrived in Ashwick about a year ago, straight from the murky waters of Birmingham, England. He's from the 'richer parts' if that's even possible, as his parents had a fair bit of money. They didn't want him to be a writer, and he didn't like them for their lack of support. So he moved away- and brought a whole crew of British losers with him. He's a nice guy, in fact if I were to become friends with any of my characters he'd probably be one of my first choices, who always means well in what he does. But he has addictions to cigarettes and drinks a lot, which makes him a bit sloppy in terms of his own personal sanity. He can be reckless, which never comes in useful now that he teaches. And it tends to cause him torture, since he's a man that is led by his emotions, which pulse through him so thick they'd give blood a run for its money.friends: he's a really nice friend to have, and he honestly can never get enough! he can be very close to a person, but not stick to them so loyally. bonds with sabe can be easily made, or broken. enemies: ever the peacemaker (well, attempted peacemaker), he doesn't handle enemies so well. he can be extremely cowardly, which obviously means he can be an easy target. lovers: hm, he's currently dating a girl who was his best friend since they were children, but he's constantly treading a fine line with her which actually keeps him in check. nevertheless, he falls quick for people. he isn't afraid of casual sex, but after a few fucks he tends to reckon he's in love. if he gets his heart broken, it's not long before he's fully recovered either. alec alanis 24. straight. taken. This is Alec! He's a musician, in this big indie band. He's the frontman. They tour a lot, which means although he lives in Ashwick he's not home too often. He's a quirky man who is trying to make the most of what he has.Although he's successful himself, Alec has never felt comfortable with himself around his well-off, educated siblings. In fact, he thinks so little of himself in comparison to his family that he's constantly worried of failing: He'll do anything to stay on top. In fact, his only motivation is his fear of falling. He's dumb and lazy, but that's just because he's chilled out. To be honest, Alec has this whole mask on of being calm and charming and really funny/laid back/etc. That whole aspect of him makes him a likeable person, though when it comes to writing music or wahtever it is that's making him stressed about his career, he can be a little more mean than usual.Although he has a grudge against families in general, Alec loves kids. His adoration of children makes him really immature, actually. He's pretty much a joker, and has a really youthful streak running through him. So he's.. not really innocent, but he has that kind of demeanour about him. That whole 'do no wrong' thing, mixed with his cool and collected personality. He's easygoing, to say the least.friends: Since he's so used to being surrounded by people, Alec has grown accustomed to people and loves them. Friends are a must with him, life would be incredibly lonely without. Plus, who would be his biggest fan otherwise?!enemies: Alec is pretty okay with anything, so when people try and get at him it's relatively easy for him to brush it off. But he has very high morals, so if he spots some kind of wrongdoing he's very quick to act on it. And of course, whenever he's stressed he's easy to get to.lovers: Pretty much wrapped up since finding love in his girlfriend Aerie, but this is very much open to past flings and relationships. And Nick is fun. Nick is fun and kinda stupid. He has a tattoo on his forehead. Because he's fun.... Basically. Nick's an Ashwick born guy who thinks life is really average. So he kinda wants to spice it up. He's a sweetie at heart and can be really sensitive, but he can bury all that when he lets the party boy come out to play. He loves having a good time- drinking and partying and letting it all go. That's essentially a major part of his life. Nick is irresponsible to say the least. Anyone would see that by going into his shithole apartment. He's not to good at keeping himself healthy or paying bills and whatever, so spends a lot of time eating chips in the dark, or playing his drums. Much to his neighbor's dismay. Nick's in a small time band that's probably never going to take off, so that's how he manages to scrape together money. He doesn't really believe in getting a real job, and his dad hates that. Sure, he still likes his family. But not his father. So he likes that it pisses the old man off. If he had to describe himself, Nick would say he's funny but cocky. Which is true. The man can't really get enough of himself and thinks that he's always right, though the facts he bases this on are often wrong. He's still a funny bastard though. Especially when he's got a bottle of vodka in his system.friends: I think he'll need some of these to keep him afloat. People to borrow money off, to rely on when he's paralytic and can't find his way home. And because he's actually kind of sensitive, a few individuals that he likes to tell his secrets to. enemies: I don't see Nick objecting to a fistfight. I bet he'll get battered up a lot, because he doesn't know what's good for him so he'll pretty much start up on anyone. He has a short temper and can be really defensive, so expect things to get heated.lovers: Although he really likes his on/off girlfriend of many years, whenever they split up Nick will snap right into 'single' mode. Which means that one night stands and so on is open whenever he's not with her. Otherwise you can fuck off dmitri birch 21. straight. single. almost had a smiley picture up there, but then i realised that would paint a false picture. you see, dima isn't really a smiley guy. if he ever does crack a grin, it's rare and normally because he heard something hilarious or his girlfriend made baklava. he's a serious guy, though he probably wouldn't have been if he'd had a more ideal upbringing. he was born in novosibirsk in russia, to parents that were both out of jobs and quickly falling out of love. they both turned to alcohol, which was a persistent habit as he and his younger brother grew up. it affected them greatly, as dima's only real memory of his parents was when he was being beaten. at age 15, his uncle took him back to america, to change his life. his brother was left behind. he'd become a terrible human being for a while, being hateful after everything he'd been through. eventually, he realised that this wasn't the way to deal with his past and forced himself to grow up. in his mind, growing up meant to rid himself of all childish matters and drama, he despises drama now, and is a hard person to crack. but he's pleasant to people that he encounters, even if he doesn't show a likening.friends: people don't warm to him easily, but he can be a sociable person when he wants to. if he finds a friend in a person, then he's quite loyal. drama annoys him, so he tries to avoid it and isn't great at helping others- nevertheless, he's nice. enemies: again, the hatred for drama means he doesn't fight too much. however, should he feel fit he can hate. and hate well. lovers: singleeee! has a sort of thing for his best friend but his feelings are confused and he attempts to hide them. however, this is still open. ziggy moon 18. straight. taken. ginger bastard got a shitty picture. i'm too lazy to make another one. so deal- because king firecrotch is worth it. okay, so he's a bit of a dick. but a little bit of dick never hurt anyone Coming from a family of hippies, Ziggy loves nothing more than to kick at home with some weed and block out the world. In fact, the whole thing infuriates him. The typical idiotic high school teenager, as he calls them, annoys him to the bone. He's a really chilled out person, so getting angry over nothing and drama pisses him off- he tries to be apathetic about stuff, because he doesn't give a damn who cheated on who. His sense of humour is pretty nasty too, but whatever. To him, life is hard. So live it.friends: as mentioned before, his friends are always the odd people. they're a strange group and he'll become friends with one person rather than a group. he's fairly popular, despite his attitude, because he's good for just smoking with or whatever. enemies: these people just come. they happen. and he'll just laugh 'em off or get pissed of or something. to him, they prove everything he says about people. and he's too cool for these bitches! lovers: ziggy has a girlfriend right now, who he works hard to please. really hard, because he's pretty undeserving and she's hard to please. he isn't crazy for sex, but whatever. if someone else came along that he found nicer, he wouldn't oppose to whatever.

She's also pretty opinionated, so if she don't like something you're saying then she'll most certainly tell you.lovers: At the moment, her babydaddy Silas is trying to win her heart again... and slowly succeeding, much to her dismay. Heeey, these are the ideas I've pretty much came up with but if I think of some more, I'll post them as well. lol.

DARCIE&ASHLEIGH: I can actually see these girls getting along, just for the simple reason that they both like to party. Now Ashleigh is popular, soo if Darcie is popular too then they could be like the two popular girls, running the school? lol.

JARED&SHYLA: He seems like he needs someone who's very happy, innocent and bubbly and Shyla's just that. I can actually even see these being more then just friends even though she's never really had a boyfriend before and is completely new to everything that goes with it. But she loves trying to cheer people up and hear their sob stories and stuff.

EMBRY&SHYLA: Embry's a really happy person. Shyla's a really happy person too! These two could really just be like best friends. And maybe know each other from college as they're both college students too? But I honestly see these two being buddies with one another.

darcie&ashleighHEY GURL. i wouldn't necessarily say that darcie is popular. probably in that way that she doesn't have a lot of friends hanging around her because she floats about a lot :| but that totally makes sense for her to have a friend like ashleigh, as some kind of ally to help her run things smoothly and get what she wants. definitely party buddies, trying to make everything go their way :')

jared & shylaOOOH this is cute as fooook. jared has been driving himself crazy recently being all sarcastic and stuff while hopelessly chasing after his best friend who's megadepression central. his ex girlfriend was a naive kind of person so he's definitely attracted to them. because of that, shyla would appeal to him and he'd love her company because she's so sweeeeet. he'd love to just look after her and treat her like a princess. because he's the kind of guy that does that
