This was good, right? A guy buying her drinks? She beamed at him as he stepped in front of her to pay. "Another mojito." She said, shooting him a coy smile. Maybe it was just that he didn't want to keep being shown up, having her pay. But she decided to take it as a positive.
"Thanks." She sucked down a bit of the drink, and turned. Seats were gone. "Hm. Want to grab a table?"
[[this is unforgivably short, but I didn't want to just PP him to a table D:]]

This was probably bad, him buying a college girl he hardly knew drinks. After handing his money over to the bartender he wiped his hands on his shirt. They were sweating. This never would have happened if he never started going to Church. This whole Catholic guilt thing was a very new phenomenon, and he didn't like it.
By the time they got their drinks their seats had been snagged by some other people -- surprisingly, an older guy with a girl that looked about Colleen's age. Seamus wondered if he looked as predator-y as the other guy did. "Yeah, there's one over there. Get it." He shooed her away and followed a few steps behind her, taking a moment to compose himself. He was already here, he was already going to be into trouble if Alicia found out -- he might as well make the best of it.
He pulled out her chair before sitting down himself. "So... It'd be cool if you could not tell people about this."

He shooed her toward a table, and she bobbed through the crowd, slipping her slender frame between bodies to get the table before someone else could snag it. She placed her drink down and slid into the chair that he pulled out for her.
"So... It'd be cool if you could not tell people about this." She'd been sipping her drink, and licked the residue from the straw off her lips before responding. "Seamus. Why would I tell anyone?" She looked at him earnestly. She'd never tell. She just needed the validation. And she wouldn't mind a little affection. She was near starved for it. She shifted her chair close to his, and ran her fingernails down his knee before taking her hand back, to pick up her drink. Just a little touch. "Besides. You're not doing anything wrong."

She seemed to be teasing him when she answered him. "Why would I tell? There's nothing going on," even though their clearly was. And there was more going on with every passing minute. Every time she licked her lips or adjusted her shirt. He really didn't think he was just being paranoid anymore. She was interested. And even worse -- he was starting to feel the same way toward her.
He cleared his throat when she touched his knee, and pretended not to notice. "Yet," he admitted, which he probably shouldn't have. There was the slight chance that she might sense his concern and fall back, but it was every bit as likely that she'd see it as a green light and try to crack him even further.

When he said "Yet", she bit her lip, biting back a small and slightly nervous smile. She saw it as a positive sign - a little self-deprecating, but still, something positive. Meant that he might be thinking about it. She kept her hand steady and took a long suck of her drink, feeling the warmth of the alcohol sinking in.
She slid her hand halfway up his thigh, stirring her drink with the other hand, not calling attention to it. She let her fingers rest on his inner thigh, stroking gently through his jeans.

He saw the smile. However small it was, he saw it, because he was looking for it. He was looking for anything that might reveal what her real intentions were, and at that point he was sure.
The smart thing would have been to stand up and leave. He briefly considered even leaving her there by herself, taking his truck, and going straight home. Or maybe to Church. He thought, tapping his foot nervously, an involuntary nervous habit. Before he could say anything she placed her hand on his thigh, maybe to stop his knee from bouncing up and down? Either way, she clearly misjudged where she put her hand. Or maybe she did it on purpose.
He obviously couldn't pretend not to notice where her hand was, but he didn't want her to stop, either. It had been a while since Alicia had even kissed him, and he was a little desperate. He sighed heavily. "I'm going to be in such deep shit," he said, grinning nervously.

He said he was going to be in deep shit. She bit her lip, sliding her chair closer, still touching his upper thigh. "Come on, Seamus." She said, giving him a gentle squeeze. "Who am I gonna tell?"
Truth be told, she was sort of enjoying the danger of it all - he was married, much older, and she wasn't supposed to even be in the bar. But the rum was making her head feel a little light and uninhibited, and brave. And to know that he wanted her - that would make her feel something she hadn't felt in forever.
She slid her hand over the crotch of his jeans, rubbing him gently through his jeans under the table. Waiting to either be stopped, or propositioned. Hopefully, the latter.

Why couldn't he bring himself to stop her? He was a grown man, married, and in the middle of a crowded bar. Even buzzed, he knew this was a recipe for disaster. His hard work was unraveling by the second and he wasn't doing anything about it. What the hell was his problem?
Oh, right. A college girl was feeling on him through his jeans, without him even having to ask. It felt like a bad porno movie, which made it even better.
He leaned over. "Maybe we shouldn't do this here." Or at all. But if he had to choose, they'd definitely not do it in the middle of a crowded bar. "I don't want to take any chances. I can't take any chances."

She gave him a gentle squeeze through his pants, and withdrew her hand. "Then... maybe you could walk a girl home?" She offered, looking up at him, questioningly. If he'd walk her back to her apartment, maybe he'd go for it and head upstairs with her. "You know. Your car's there, anyway." There was at least a practical reason for her to walk with him. She'd address the getting-him-upstairs part later.

Shit, had she planned this? No, because he was the one who decided they were walking. Fuck. "Fuck." Oops, that wasn't supposed to be out loud. Maybe she didn't hear it. "Yeah, looks like I have to." He tried not to look at her, or at least not make eye contact. She didn't need anything else to use against him. Especially not the glazed over look he had from the impromptu pants rub.

She thought she heard him say "Fuck", but couldn't be sure. Maybe he was just missing her hand's presence, or something. Or maybe he was one of those guys that swore when they were turned on. Whatever. Water under the bridge, best not to ask about it, even if it confused her for a second.
"Yeah, looks like I have to.""Aw, come on now. Don't act like walking a girl home is the worst thing in the world." She said, trying to keep the mood light. She sucked down the last of her drink, preparing to leave, and stood up.

"It's not," he admitted. He was definitely enjoying her company, and there was no way she could possibly think otherwise. It was so obvious, especially with how red his face was turning. "I'm just worried what people will think... Us leaving together, you... Kinda tipsy."

"If you don't want to be seen, I can walk about a few minutes before you. That way we don't leave 'together'," She offered, standing and smoothing her shirt. "I'll meet you outside in a few. Nobody will realize."

He wanted to say that was a dumb idea, but after a few seconds of thought, he decided it was actually ingenious and would work perfectly for what he was trying to accomplish. "Let's do that," he said. "All right. Two minutes."
~*two minutes later*~
He walked outside of the bar, found Colleen standing a ways away from the entrance, and walked toward her. "Hey, stranger. Shall we?"

"Hey." She said, with a small smile. As soon as she'd gone outside, she'd had a momentary panic that he would sneak out somehow, not walk her home. But here he was. She started to walk with him, slowly, peeking over her shoulder to make sure that nobody was watching. She stepped closer to him, and snaked an arm around his waist. "Hey. Hold me up." She joked, not really needing the assistance.
