user posted imageShe was just glad he wasn't changing his mind. That had been her biggest fear with him freaking out over this. That he was changing his mind. She'd gotten very attached to the whole idea of being a family with him since they'd decided they were doing this, and she didn't want to lose that. It was really hard to imagine having twins. It was very hard to imagine that. It was such a new concept, but that was what was happening. They were going to have twins. Not just one baby, but two for them to take care of. And that would mean a new plan for them. They'd figured out how to take care of one, but things would be different with two. And just like last time, they'd calm down before they made any real decisions. That just seemed like the best way to do anything. She laughed softly before kissing him back. For both of them, this physical contact was good. It helped her calm down, helped her just focus on the moment and not worry so much about how they were going to take care of twins. "Yeah, I can drive. You want to go to your place?" She needed his keys, but she could drive them. He wasn't in the right state of mind to drive them anywhere right now. She was more calm and alright with this. She could drive this time.

user posted image He couldn't change his mind now. He couldn't get Evey's hopes up and allow her to get used to this idea, get excited, only to change his mind. He wouldn't do that to her. Plus he still wanted this. He could picture being a dad very easily. He couldn't imagine himself with a baby and a kid, he could see that. He just had another child to that picture and get used to it and he would be fine. He just wasn't there this moment, it was too new and he had never freaked out about the whole thing before. They could figure out two babies and they would be a spectacular team because that's all they had been so far. He didn't think they would fall apart and they wouldn't struggle financially or anything, it wasn't the worst situation. They had two healthy babies instead of one. He just needed to freak out for a little bit first. He nodded slowly as he pulled away from her only to start digging in his pockets for his keys. "Yeah, that's fine. Wherever. Wherever we can like...not talk to people." He said as he handed her his keys. He didn't want to focus to not kill them right now. She could drive. She seemed fine.

user posted imageIt would be a huge shock to either of them for one of them to just change their mind at this point. They'd gotten used to the idea already, Evey was fairly excited about it now that she was used to the idea of becoming a parent. It didn't make sense to change their minds now. Two babies would be harder, but it wouldn't be impossible. They could do it. And that was why she wasn't freaking out quite as much as he was right now. She was still freaked out, because it was a big deal to add an extra baby to the picture they had of their future. This was a big deal, but it wasn't ruining everything. It wasn't such a huge life change as finding out she was pregnant in the first place. "That sounds good to me right now." Going to her place would mean possibly running into her parents who would want to know how the appointment had gone. And they didn't need that right now. Right now, they just needed to relax and absorb the news. Because they were going to get questions right away about how things had gone, and it was going to be obvious that something was off. She took his keys and got into the drivers seat, needing to adjust pretty much everything before she pulled out of the parking lot and heading toward his place. They needed a place to be alone for a while, just relax together. She wasn't completely ok, but she was a lot better than he was, and she was more than calm enough to drive them.

user posted image They were too deep in at this point. They couldn't change their minds. They had gotten attached to the idea of having a kid and starting a family. They had been spending so much time talking about being parents and getting excited and looking at baby stuff to change their minds. He wouldn't do that because there was two. He would spend some time second guessing their ability to have children, how good of parents they could be, but he wasn't freaking out enough to change his mind. He had committed to them being parents, to them doing this together, to that fact that they were a kick ass team and they could do this. He wasn't changing his mind. He was just freaking out. And he would probably freak out again once they had their kids, once those two little babies were in their world for real. But he doubted he would change his mind, even for a second. He got in the passenger side and pushed the seat all the way back and leaning his head back with his eyes closed. He needed to just try to not think for as long as possible. He was good at calming himself down and he just needed to be quiet for a bit and force himself to not think about it for a while. He could do that. He jus couldn't do it while he was supposed to be driving.

user posted imageThey couldn't just change their mind now. They had been shopping and talking a little about names and just a little of everything that had to do with their child. They were getting excited. And she still was. This had put a bit of a damper on the excitement, but it hadn't ruined anything. As long as he wasn't changing his mind, she was going to be alright. She was freaking out, too, she was going to second guess them, just a little. She would have her days of doubting them, but she was much more calm than he was right now. She would have those moment even after they came, probably more after they came. She was mostly alright with the idea that there were two babies, but the reality would be much more difficult to wrap her head around. She just drove them to his place without saying anything. She didn't need to have a conversation about this right now, and she knew he didn't either. She needed to be near him right now, but she didn't have to talk. That was not a necessity for her at all right now. They worked really well together, and part of that was being able to be quiet together. This was one of those moments where things were just ok being quiet. She pulled in and parked, waiting a few moments before she looked over at him. "Let's go in."

user posted image They got attached to this whole thing. They had plans and a list of names and they had been checking out cribs and stuff, they had a budget and a plan. Cesar wasn't going to change his mind about this at all. He was going to be dad in a couple months. He was going to have a family of his own, he was starting very young but he was having a family. That was something he wanted and although he wasn't really ready he was excited for the whole thing. He'd get ready because he could do that, his father had taught him to be very strong and mature and responsible and he could do this. He was just slightly less excited for the time being because of this new news. It wasn't bad news, it wasn't more than he could handle, it was just really major and he couldn't take it right that second. Really her being pregnant hadn't been a huge giant surprise, looking back on it, it made complete sense how that happened. Them having twins was a way bigger surprise to him, that was completely unexpected. They were just going to hear the heartbeat and see more of a shape, not find out they were having two. He didn't move until she spoke and when he did he sighed and ran his hands over his face and hair as he sat up. "You are so lucky I like you so much." He said with a playful tone before leaning over and giving her a kiss on the lips. He needed a lot of kisses today.

user posted imageThey were very attached. They were doing all the things that you did when you had a baby on the way. They were really young, but they were about to start a family. And it was going to be a bigger family than they really expected. She'd honestly been more shocked to learn that she was pregnant than she was to learn there were two babies. Not because it was really all that shocking that she could be pregnant after how often they were together, but it was a bigger life change. This was just another change of plans, it was just something else that was being thrown at them. For her, that was easier to swallow. It was easier to adjust to. She laughed softly and kiss him back. "I know." He could have as many kisses as he liked today. But they did have to go inside at some point. She would much rather be inside than make out in his car.

user posted image They could be a family no problem. Maybe it wouldn't work out in the end, maybe because it was all still so very new. He hadn't fallen for her yet but he was smitten with this girl. He was sure they could do this though. They seemed like such a really great team, like they could do this. They could handle a baby. Not that it would be easy or anything but it wouldn't be a huge problem. They were adaptive and mature and smart, they could handle having a kid. They could handle two kids. Two wasn't going to be a deal breaker. They were good. He was just freaking out for a little bit. Give him another day or two and he would be so sure of himself, so ready and confident. He held the kiss out for a little while before pulling back and getting out of the car. He waited for her to get out before taking her hand again and heading up to his place. They needed to just lay down and relax and she needed to give him kisses and they could eat dinner. He wasn't going to do anything else today, it wasn't worth it.

user posted imageThey could do this. It was a huge surprise that there were two babies, but they could do it. They could be a family. They weren't in love yet, that hadn't happened, but they were definitely heading that way. Maybe they would end up falling apart, but they worked so well together that she didn't see that happening right now. She didn't see them suddenly not being good together. They were a good team, they could be really good together. And this could definitely last. She could see that happening. Being good together and being a family. Today was just another bump in the road. It was something new to freak out about for a little bit. She didn't pull back until he did, and once he did she got out of the car, locking it up after them. She held his hand and let him lead them to his place. They really didn't need to do anything too difficult today. Just relax and be around each other. It would help both of them calm down and get a grip on what was happening. She wasn't freaking out as badly as he was, but she needed to just relax with him for a while.
