Q: Does this site admit canon characters?
A: Nope. If you'll notice, the timelines are somewhat conflicting. This board is set 100 years after Harry originally came to Hogwarts. Voldemort was defeated by Harry Potter and fled into hiding once again. Harry Potter was killed about a year or two after his defeat. While the world mourned him they've been enjoying the peace and prosperity that has come, finally, when Voldemort died 20 years ago.

Q: Can I be the descendant of a canon character?
A: Yes. If you plan to do this, please PM an admin before posting the bio so we can make sure you aren't going to create a conflict with existing characters.

Q: How many characters may I take on?
A: As many as you want! We're in love with making scary multiple characters ourselves and you are all welcome to join in the insanity!!

Q: Do you guys have post restrictions?
A: We do. We would like each post to be two solid paragraphs long. I'm not going to bother sticking your posts into word and doing word counts on them. Just make sure you post often and your post is long enough to keep the story moving.

Q: Am I allowed to have tattoos, piercings, sex, etc?
A: Yes. This board is for mature roleplayers. While we do allow rp'rs below age 16 they are not allowed to look in the threads labeled "Sexually Explicit" etc. Tattoos and piercings are allowed, just remember that if your character is under 18 they would have needed parental permission for those tats and piercings so keep them mild or expect to explain.

Q: Does my character's sexual preference matter?
A: No. I don't care if you love men, women or animals. I might raise an eyebrow at the animal thing but I will not refuse to approve a bio because of it. It's all drama, and really, who doesn't love the drama? Just be prepared to face the same kind of prejudice you would face in the real world from other characters. Out of Character sexual preference flaming is NOT permitted on this board but a character is like a person. They all have their own prejudices.

Q: Can I choose what house I want my character to be in?
A: No, just like in the books you'll be sorted when you arrive!

Q: Can I play a professor?
A: Yes. There is a list of open positions in the sorting forum, pinned up for you to read.
