Long ago there was a battle with the mighty Leviathon that changed Meliora forever. The greatest mages of this time joined their power to destroy the Leviathon, but paid a great price. They perished. Their power was lost, but the land was restored. Years later, individuals from across the land began displaying powers greater than those of the mages that restored Meliora. They became the eight deities of fire, water, earth, air, day, night, time and fate. Since then, some deities have come and gone, but the spirits of nature have chosen others to rise in their places. The Eight are the most powerful beings in Meliora. Your fate is in their hands.


Meliora has prospered for many years, but all good things must come to an end. The Leviathon proved that tragedy can strike when it is least expected.
