So is anyone else here a Scott Pilgrim fan? I recently saw the movie, and it just blew me away. I'm a huge fan of the books, and this adaptation was so great! It's not a 100% accurate, since it was filmed before the last volume came out, but at least 2/3 of the film takes everything directly from the books. The ending is also similar (since the director and author kept in touch), but there are also enough differences between the two to enjoy them on their own.

I would recommend watching this in theaters while you can, and go on to read the books later. It's definitely one of the best movies of the year, and I doubt you will see anything similar to this in quite some time.

In case anyone is wondering, this movie is now out in Blu-Ray/DVD. I hardly ever buy anything on its release date anymore, but I snapped this up right away (Got me a bonus t-shirt too! cool.gif And then I went ahead and bought the game on Xbox Live, haha)

Seeing it again made me fall in love with the series all over again. I've already pre-ordered the new boxset for the graphic novels that are coming out this month. Love love LOVE this series so much! biggrin.gif
