It turns out she's got some worms


and it turns out the treatment for worms is applied to the back of the neck

I have no idea how it is effective from that location, I'd imagine that something digestive-tract-related would be an ingested medication

but I'm not the expert here so I don't know what I'm talking about



also she managed to try to back up out of my arms right into the waiting needle

she was a bit antsy cuz there was at least one loud dog nearby




ANYWAY, I gots Arceus~

and thanks to Twitter I was able to announce it WHILE STILL IN THE STORE, 50+ MILES FROM HOME AND THE COMPUTER. YESSSS

this is pretty much the opposite of when I thought Lugia was pronounced "loo-JEE-uh" but turned out to be "LOO-gee-uh"



but yeah, poor kitty D= lately she's been all emotionally distraught or something, she's gotten a lot clingier and cries a lot more to be let upstairs so she can be on the couch in more or less the same general area as us

this can be due to any number of reasons

but I'm not gonna presume to be able to psychoanalyze a cat.

meanwhile I STILL read Raikou as "rye-koo" even though I am somewhat aware that "ou" sounds like "oh"

and Entei...I...I think I've always pronounced it in a more or less "correct" manner

if not, then it was probably "en-tee" at some point
