The Spawning Pool Needs You!

Ok guys I need all of your help, if we're going to make the site what it used to be you need to tell your friends about us, if you're part of any online warhammer communities I'd appreciate it if you could promote the site there.

Now don't misunderstand me, i don't want you spamming anyone and everyone but if you're an established member of a community and there is a place for posting links, it'd be cool if you could link us (if you're unsure of whether you're allowed to post a link or not then consult the forum admin to ask permission:)).

Also if you run an online community I would appreciate it if you would link to The Spawning Pool, and if you let me know I will return the favour, I know we don't have many members here to make that too tempting but hopefully as we grow you'll get as much benefit as TSP.

But what GG says is true, the best way to spread our site here is word of mouth, so if anyones got friends that play WH or whatever invite them to come over. Even if they don't play Lizardmen, we have/had a bunch here who didn't, and they can still hang out in the other forums.

I won't be using the sig banner though. I'll just place a link instead. It feels kinda unnatural to be promoting someone else's site on your own

Just a question Garoq; but how big is that banner of yours?

I would guess its as big as it's shown to be in the post. If it's too big/small you could just resize it a touch in mspaint or something.

Depends on the nr. of pixels in size it is.
Though I still got the old banner on a forum somewhere. (I think)

Oni: Couldn't you just copy and paste it into paint and resize it or something if it's too big/small?

also to point out that the best way of getting new members, is to post useful comments on there posts on other forums, and have a link in your sig. Thats how i found it. With the new lizardmen book there are loads of new lizzie players,
Go to sites like www.heresy-online.net and www.warseer.com look through the last 3/4 pages of warhammer army lists and tactics and post on the lizardmen stuff there.
If a few people did it, so say 5 people all did this this week, then anyone intested in lizardmen who reads the posts AND obvious the person who originally posted will see a link to TSP in 5+ posts, and that will be much more likely to grab there notice.

ANother thing have the admin sent out an email to all the members? May re-kindle some interest. I'd always suggest it highlight some interesting stuff thats going on at the moment. SO for example "help jigplums write the ultimate tournament army, See Berties Awesome army blog, discuss the latest tactics with the new army book. STuff like that.
